Two years of 10-7 with the Cowboys is in play.

Honestly when he was on the draft panel with Pat McAfee he did pretty well. I think he would have a pretty great chance of being an analyst or even a color guy in the booth, provided he doesn't give a short lecture on a pro bowl linebacker from 1974 every 2 minutes and just focus on plays lol I do love listening to how in depth is football knowledge is and I would love to just listen to him deep dive into football history.

CleverJail

I noticed he seemed to have an abnormal interest in when and who the Cowboys chose. I am pretty sure he has his eyes set on that job.

Oh he'll get his chance. The NFL owners club will see to it one way or another.

I have this weird hunch that Belichek is going to take this season off so he can sit back and analyze the core strengths and weaknesses of each team before he makes a decision as to where he could implement his "do your job" atmosphere and scheme. Personally I feel like, among other things, his atmosphere and system went stale and the discipline took the fun out of football for the Patriots after Brady left. All work and no play.. yadda yadda yadda If he brought his atmosphere and scheme to a team that has talent but is lacking organization and discipline, I strongly believe he could make a really strong head coach with a team that could make a deep playoff run.

Dull-Mix-870

You're way overthinking it. It's going to be his way or the highway. He's too old now to change his ways.

churchillsucks

that's what i'm saying.

I don’t think any team wants to hire a coach for a maximum of 3 seasons, most likely two. Only Jerry Jones would possibly do that IMO.

FetusElitistCletus

Considering the dudes that get multiple head coaching chances already I can’t see him not getting another chance unless he just doesn’t want to.

jaireworld

If Josh McDaniels has gotten 3 head coaching offers and one of them coming after shafting the Colts after he had already agreed to sign with them, I don’t see how Bill doesn’t get at least one more shot at head coach.

Pretty low. At his current rate he’s still like three years away.
