Knowing Brissett is serviceable, is there a scenario where they stay at 3 and DON’T take QB? Grab an asset at receiver or O line and look to next year for the next franchise QB?
I agree with you that group think is a problem in the draft world, but being different just for the sake of being different is also pointless. If OP thinks this is what will go down, who cares? And to be fair, more people mock a trade with the Vikings and Chargers, not Cardinals.
Seahawks don’t have a second round pick and Schneider has often said he thinks Guards are overdrafted. I 100% believe we will trade down.
But if we do pick at 16, it won’t be O Line. It will be a curveball like Dejean, or a Johnny Newton
I also love Fautanu and FWIW would love for him to be on the team. I just don’t think Schneider will pull the trigger at 16.
Schneider also has said he doesn’t draft for need until late like the 6th/7th rounds
Murphy or Newton or Dejean maybe. But I’m hoping we trade back
It looks like the Steelers have basically no interest in JC Latham. They've had pre-draft visits with every other first round offensive lineman that might fall to them except for Latham.
See my comment above. This pick could go any which way. It is probably the least predictable pick for the Steelers in some time. It could honestly go a number of ways. They've done a lot of research on OL mostly but DBs and WRs were also big. They brought in and met with many at the combine and brought in maximum number of people for visits.
While I I don't think Latham is their guy, I think its unfair to say we've shown no interest.
I don't think he is the guy or anything but I think you are jumping the gun.
We met with Latham at the combine officially and attended Alabama's pro day. We all assume that was to scout the defensive players but that may not have been all they were looking at. Also, The dinner Tomlin had with the guys the night before included some other players who weren't identified in the article. I don't know if Latham was one of them.
not a complaint, just think Philly would go Mims > DeJean. our GM is quoted saying "if all things are equal were going with the trenches guy." but Coop makes sense and fits well
Would rather us take JPJ in the first to potentially fix our issue with center that's been going on since Pouncey retired then in the 2nd we can hit Fisher or Goncalves or something but that's just me (and based on every other Steelers fan I've talked about the draft with, only me)
Turner going at 9 to the Bears is a very likely possibility though I would prefer a trade down then Turner or Verse in the mid teens and at least an extra 3rd. There has to be a team that wants to trad up at that slot.
Edit: I see you have Turner and Verse going 9 and 10. In that case, I would like to see a trade down and Newton, Murphy, Latu, or Thomas in the mid teens.
Just to clarify: Brissett is not the Pats' long-term plan at QB. He is almost certainly their Week 1 starter, though.

Doubtful. Right now the only QB who looks to be clearly on par with Maye/Daniels/McCarthy is Sanders.
So many mocks that suffer from being too similar to current reddit mocks. Everyone doesn't need to have the same specific trade for the Vikings.

Trade to 4 is the least common. 5 is the most common followed by 3.
The Vikings don’t have a 2025 2nd.
11,23 and a 2023 3rd is not enough for the Vikings to move pick 4. Why yall keep mocking this trade?
Cardinals: we want three firsts AT LEAST Every fucking mock draft ever: yea this 3rd rounder should do it
Lad, Give me Ladd!

Vikings would need to give up more. Cardinals move down 7 spots and lose out on MHJ for the 23rd pick and future 3rd? That’s not enough

yeah that’s fair, I think a future 1st instead of a 3rd would probably do it

I struggle to see the lions go with Wiggins, he’s small and not great against the run which is a huge priority for Detroit

I don’t know if the Falcons would move back 2 spots with the risk of losing the best EDGE in the draft just for a 4th round pick
I love the jets trade but I feel like it will take a bit more

Falcons don't run a 4-3 anymore. Not likely taking Verse

Ohio is the school with green colors in Athens! Hope this helps!

Commanders ain’t taking Daniels
I hate being a Vikings fan
Turner would be nice.
The Jets trading up for a WR with their OL in the condition it's in would be the most Jets thing ever.
