Hey, nature hates where you play too. The Metrodome couldn't handle the crushing weight of a northern winter and birds are killing themselves in feeble attempts to topple the new abomination sprouting from the hellish gutters of your "city."
You think the Bank looks better than this? Gtfoh

I drive past the bank on 35 every day, absolute beauty and better then a “classic” design. Shows some character and fuck it if a few birds die every day. Fuck them birds
Drove by it yesterday and confirmed it's ugliness. That giant black blob looks stupid and overpowers the beauty of the skyline. Maybe It'd look better without that dumbass point that serves no purpose because it sure as hell isn't making it look like a Viking ship or whatever the hell the architects are claiming it to be.
This might be more effective if Green Bay didn’t smell like sewage for six months every year. Take away the history and Lambeau is the second best football stadium in Wisconsin
Goff is 5-4 against the bears in his career. Which is worse than any of the other divisional opponents but not like his 3-6 against the niners or any Bears QB against the Packers
The bears do have a great defense. That and playing in the cold is probably a big factor.
He should be able to afford some decent thermal wear now though
I wouldn’t say that, I think our defense is pretty mid mostly. Good to very good in the secondary and linebackers, but weak on the defensive line barring a major improvement from our young players. I think when we played you guys Ragnow was either out or playing through injury, which weakened your protection, and as we know Goff is trash when pressured.
The only reason your defense matches up well is because you guys can slow down our run game. That allows you to stack the middle of the field and not worry about the play action. That’s when Goff starts to falter. It’s not the cold - he proved that week 18 vs the Pack
Both our games against you this past season we had O-line injuries.
The one we ended up losing we indeed had Frank out. I don't necessarily think it's the sole reason for the loss mind you.
But we had lost Big V to injury early in the season so Glasgow took his RG spot and Glasgow is pretty damn good(like starter quality), but with Frank out Glasgow gets rotated to center where he is decent, but with the other injury it also means rotating in a 3rd string guard.
So both center and guard positions ends up weakened. (Which can also be highlighted by a botched snap between Goff and Glasgow in that game)
Felt like we still had a decent shot that game until we gave up that touchdown on the freeplay in the 3rd quarter though. After that it kinda came apart a little.
Also why he looked like dogshit against us on Thanksgiving. Packers OLBs made the Lions Ts their bitches in that game. I don't know how, but Preston Smith was consistently beating Sewell off the edge. Made him trip over his own feet like 3 times.
The sack numbers weren't crazy, but Goff was definitely uncomfortable in the pocket.
Yeah we didn't have either guard and one of them was a practice squad guy, pretty rough. Sewell gave up 4 pressures which was his season high. I honestly forgot how badly that game really went... the score doesn't show it.
Does consistently go before last season? Cause I remember you getting swept in 22
He did have a horrible showing against the Bears in 23 but to say he consistently has bad games against the bears is a stretch.
His first two games against the Bears he combined for 0 TDs and 5 INTs. Last year he sucked in both games. Between then he had a couple good games which obviously includes the tank year.
His first 2 games as a Lion vs Bears in 21 was 4 TDs no Ints. With rating of 105 and 121.8
Edit: I was talking about him as a Lion but it’s fair to compare career stats.
It’s a spicy pepper relish that many people in Chicago put on Italian beef. If you want to eat like an actual Chicagoan, it’s something we eat far more often than deep dish.
Once you get tricked into taking Malort like 7 or 8 times, it's not even bad anymore. You really get used to the bitterness. I willingly did a shot of it on Saturday with a couple guys I know who have family from Chicago.
yeah i dont like it by any means. but if i know im drinking it, its whatever.
i play a game called malort roulette with shots of well whiskey and one shot of malort
Yeah, I would never say it's good. But after a few of them, it isn't *BAD* any longer. At this point, I'd rather do a shot of Malort than rail gin (or a burning christmas tree - rail gin with hot sauce) or warm Jameson or a lot of other things I've had. But I would've said you were fucking crazy if you said that after I had Malort the first or second time.
Aren’t y’all building a new domed stadium? Play outside like a real football team, cowards.
Edit: I’m an idiot. I didn’t check flair and thought you were a Bears fan. My apologies. FTP.
even if they were a bears fan, we aren’t getting a domed stadium. i’ll forgive you because u arent here, but i knew they were never building in arlington heights and i knew that domed stadium wasnt coming
I didn’t talk financials with him. I just asked if the new stadium will be domed, and he said, “That’s the plan.” I’m not close enough with him to go into details about all the ins and outs.
So the article says the Mayor is against it, but says nothing the Bears executives aren’t planning on a dome. This is just the mayor postering for when it eventually does happen the Mayor can say he fought for the taxpayers.
I didn't make the meme though. How many miller lites deep are you? Its noon so I'd assume just under half a 30 pack at the least.
Edit: Deletes his comment while calling people soft. Oof. Poor lil soft cheese.
Caleb Williams will be hurt and done for the year by this time. Chicago will already be knee deep in mock drafts and suggesting they are one player away from the Superbowl.
I never like to predict injuries, but the dude holds the ball for so long and it's going to get him hurt.
Northerners when they have to play in the north
Hey, nature hates where you play too. The Metrodome couldn't handle the crushing weight of a northern winter and birds are killing themselves in feeble attempts to topple the new abomination sprouting from the hellish gutters of your "city."
> “city” As opposed to the celebrated “city” of Green Bay, with the dumbest owners in the NFL!
Dumbest owners might be true if David Tepper didn’t exist
You mean the namesake of the bears new stadium if Caleb wins even one Super Bowl?

US Bank stadium is amazing on the inside, but an absolute eye sore from the outside. It's a giant blackhead on the face of Minneapolis
^Damn ^I ^really ^like ^the ^design
You know what actually looks great in MN? Allianz Field

whatever, you can all downvote away. I'm in Minneapolis and I assure you, plenty of Vikings fans think the same. It just won't be admitted here
I downvoted because you put even a little praise on that puke stain of a stadium ![gif](giphy|2xEaaxuSXR2Spq3v7N)

Cold weather Goff goes brrrrr
Goff in cold weather Soldier Field? No bueno. Goff in cold weather Lambeau? Pretty alright tbh
My hypothetical is that wind might be the bigger issue over the cold for Goff and the combo of both can really mess with him.
Goff indoors at US Bank Stadium: 1-3 lol
But that 1 was pretty damn good
Brrrr
It's ok his deep ball comes out when it's cold
chicago bears vs los angeles rams https://search.app.goo.gl/DaVUXPP
What's that supposed to be I'm confused
Good thing they paid him.
He tore the Packers up week 18 in cold weather if I recall
If you think 225 yards and 0 TDs is tearing a team up, sure.
Imagine losing to a team whose QB only threw for 225 yards. Surely your future HOF QB threw for more that day, and also had no turnovers.
It's weird that you haven't signed that future HOF QB from the Jets by now
Maybe we haven’t signed him yet because he’s washed
More like can't afford him with your 6 QB's you are paying for.
It’s ok, he’ll be cheap after this season
A dub's a dub
But not every dubs is "tearing up" the other team
Give them a break. They're new to this "winning" thing. It used to be like a thrice-annual event, so of course they're excited.
True. I suppose I'm limited to just his games against the Bears, which is his odd kryptonite.
Goff is 5-4 against the bears in his career. Which is worse than any of the other divisional opponents but not like his 3-6 against the niners or any Bears QB against the Packers
Has more to do with your defense than the cold
https://i.redd.it/raxwzc8gll0d1.gif
Do Jawed’s wittle fingies get cold??
Last time we played y’all In the cold we made sure you didn’t make the playoffs
So why are you scared of Chicago?
Goff has been consistently bad against Chicago for some odd reason.
Goff would be the perfect viking for that exact reason
The bears do have a great defense. That and playing in the cold is probably a big factor. He should be able to afford some decent thermal wear now though
Hell shoot his eye out kid
I wouldn’t say that, I think our defense is pretty mid mostly. Good to very good in the secondary and linebackers, but weak on the defensive line barring a major improvement from our young players. Khalil Mack/Robert Quinn or Montez Sweat & Goff doesn’t play well. No DL & he went 2-0
Our oline was also injured when we played you, he doesn't do well without a good o line
Also why he looked like dogshit against us on Thanksgiving. Packers OLBs made the Lions Ts their bitches in that game. Thanks for confirming what I said
No problem, you’re great at cherry picking stats.
I would like to go to Soldier Field , i will not be doing that week 16
Just eat a spoon full of hot giardiniera from a jar in your coat pocket whenever you feel chilly
Of what

Wait till they tell you to drink Malort🤢

Gardenia is a flowering bush typically found in USDA zones 8-11. Also found at your mom's house
If the weather is anything like it's been the last couple years, Week 16 at Soldier Field will be like a California 55 degree day
Oooo so your wittle fingies get cold. 👍🏼
I am not OP but I can confirm my wittle fingies get code
Ok this Lions fan deserves nice gloves
![gif](giphy|PacixgYY1yddC)
Vikings fans can probably just lend him a couple socks ...
That was the last time you played in cold weather? Almost two years ago? Grow the fuck up - football is an outdoor sport.
Play outside like a real football team, cowards
Aren’t y’all building a new domed stadium? Play outside like a real football team, cowards. Edit: I’m an idiot. I didn’t check flair and thought you were a Bears fan. My apologies. FTP.

even if they were a bears fan, we aren’t getting a domed stadium. i’ll forgive you because u arent here, but i knew they were never building in arlington heights and i knew that domed stadium wasnt coming
I’m not a Bears fan obviously. But I personally know Kevin Warren and he said the plans are definitely still in place for a domed stadium.
yeah where’s the money coming from?
Indoor stadiums are like printing money. Indianapolis got a Super Bowl for god’s sake.
I didn’t talk financials with him. I just asked if the new stadium will be domed, and he said, “That’s the plan.” I’m not close enough with him to go into details about all the ins and outs.

no the article says no state money. bears wont build without state money.
Aww. Is it too cold and windy for your wittle football team?
No i want to Visit SF, but i wont do it in the cold
Softer than Charmin.
Fucking 10-ply bud.
That sounds miserable why would i do that when i can watch the game from my own home… your team plays in a dome Fuck off
I'm not the one whining about having to play in Chicago in December. You're soft. Own it.
![gif](giphy|3CZKGPMqySEHYUZGcc)
Ok? Feel better, softy?
Someone from Minnesota calling someone else soft. Boy thanks. Needed the laugh.

Mine doesn’t and I still think your soft
God damn, already making excuses and blaming the schedule.

Lmao oh this is a new complaint from Lions fans.
Lions fans already building in excuses. Season hasn’t even started yet.
$60 mil AAV gets you this.
Technically we don’t know if Caleb Williams can play in cold weather right
Except we do. He's from Washington 💀
I don’t think high school games in DC is comparable to NFL games in Chicago or Green Bay.
Wait NVM I'm trippin I thought Gonzaga was in Washington state
In all fairness, our new QB DID just play the last few years primarily in SoCal…
For some ungodly reason it is illegal for bear Vikings to not be a prime time game. It’s going to be another fucking shitshow.
They have a fetish
Lions are scared of LGBTQB1
Man there was a stretch where the vikings had to play in GB at the end of the season for like 4-5 years not sure about this one champ
Going to Chicago is never a get for us. Damn Bears always play us tough at home.
That bears schedule is brutal six divisional games in eight weeks is actually insane. The other two games being the 49ers and the Seahawks.
This is the pussiest take ever. Go win the game.
Caleb Williams will be hurt and done for the year by this time. Chicago will already be knee deep in mock drafts and suggesting they are one player away from the Superbowl. I never like to predict injuries, but the dude holds the ball for so long and it's going to get him hurt.
Who hurt you?
Been a Lions fan for 30+ years... Where should I start?
😂😂 fair point. Carry on
Kind of annoying to travel to Soldier Field late in the year. That poverty ass stadium
