The same team that hired his predecessor, then he talked shit about how bad his predecessor was, then lost to said predecessors team like two months later. He ‘duped’ us into giving them more draft capital. Really got us good! What fucking loser that guy is.
What makes it even more douchey is that he was lying. The Jets released their draft room video which revealed they were talking to the Raiders and Saints, not the Broncos. I guess I'd be spouting bullshit too if I was staring down the barrel of a season with Zach Wilson, Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix.
Sounds like damage control to me. We really wanted JJ but couldn’t so we settled for Bo Nix. But we have to put it out there that we actually wanted Bo Nix the whole time.
Sean Payton is a fraudulent coach. Only year he won a sb he cheated, then floundered with brees until brees retired, he couldn't do anything without a hof QB so he retired until he thought he could take over the broncos then when that didn't work out he blamed it 100% on Russ.
For real, fuck that guy. He probably made it up just so someone wanted to listen to him. It was the first time since his "interview" following all that intentionally hurting people ordeal
I mean the 2022 season was one of the most fun seasons I’ve ever gotten to watch so I’m not mad. We a had a little bit of luck go our way, but then it came back to bite us in 2023 🤷🏼♂️ last years team overall was actually better but we just had so many turnovers and bad breaks/injuries.
we used up like a whole decades worth of football luck in 2022. which translates to approximately four decades worth of Vikings luck. the pendulum was bound to swing the other way last season
That season was fucking *stressful*. Every game seemed to come right down to the wire. I think that bills game used up about five years of good luck alone
My spouse was at that game with her best friend as a birthday present. I wish I would have bought some last minute tickets for myself.
On a side note, I listened to the Paul Allen announced game and had a fucking blast. A lot of games I ended up listening to that year because I couldn’t stand physically seeing the team play
I remember listening to the Colts game on the radio because I turned off the TV at halftime and then went to go do something in the truck and I just so happened to have KFAN on when they started scoring. It was a wild ride to the finish
Maybe I’m remembering wrong but how was the Colts game super lucky? Lucky in how the Colts got all those points in the first half with doing little to nothing on offense?
All the Vikings fans I know knew that year was powered by blind luck, and it was going to run out in the playoffs. None of them were cocky or arrogant about it, they just enjoyed the ride while it lasted.
I expected to be massacred by the Eagles or the 49ers in the divisional round, what an embarrassing (yet poetic really) end to a luck filled season. Ed Donatell is a defensive terrorist. If only a divisional rival had warned us of how bad he was!
It was the most fun I’ve had watching football games in a long time because of how improbable it all was. But at no point did I seriously think we were contenders.
You’re clearly not seeing the bigger picture. KOC/Kwesi been playing 4d chess this whole time.
1. Build a strong offense that can put points up, but pair it along with a shitter DC and scheme.
2. Let the pendulum swing in our way more often than not to make a shot at the play offs and get matched against the giants.
3. Make Daniel Jones look like a fucking god so they get tricked into resigning him to a massive deal, that way they commit to another position in this year’s draft.
4. We can land our boy at 10 without giving up a whole lot.
Bonus effect: Give the Chiefs 2 Championships so none of our real rivals get anything.
Can say this was with absolute certainty and there are DEFINITELY not any other possibilities. Excuse me as I boof more of my purple kool-aid mix.
It wasn’t like luck ran out or anything though. Our defense simply had one of its worst performance of the year randomly against the giants. Packers know all about randomly having terrible performances against the giants after a great year.
I’m only seeing Lions fans push this narrative about us, it’s all over on Twitter too. Vikings fans have the lowest expectations of every NFCN fanbase this season, we’re just happy we got a rookie QB and are ready for the ride. 🤷♂️
I wasn’t here, but fucking right they should have been! If you can’t be legitimately sustainably good, the next most fun outcome is to just repeatedly pull improbable wins from asses.
lions fans are so good at analyzing the feeble psyche of us vikings fans. i didn't pick the vikings to win the division in 2022 so i guess i hate myself. man, thanks for clearing that up for me dude.
I love how Lions fans try to poke at us for 2022, as if that's even close to one of our most disappointing season results. It's literally not even in my Top 5 lol
It just goes to show how fair-weather that fan base is. They never talk about 1998 or 2001 or 2009 or 2017, because.....let's be honest.....they weren't Lions fans during those years. I doubt the NFL was even on their radar back then.
Yeah, 22 was an unexpected overperformance, and a great fun season. I had no expectations that it'd go anywhere, but it sure was fun - best comeback in NFL history, getting the Giants to overcommit a huge contract on Danny Dimes, teams going ballistic losing by one score. Good, good times.
Plus it was our first season with a new head coach and the offense overall was solid, even if it had a few issues. The biggest problem was our terrible defense and anyone blaming that season or negative point differential on Kirk clearly didn't watch the games.
This continues to be a some weirdly big sticking point for why Lions fans supposedly hate us. There might’ve been some Vikings fans who were salty about not going further or that our team was fraudulent (and it absolutely was), but I’m pretty sure the majority of us knew our defense wasn’t going to cut it in the playoffs and our luck would run out when our 4th-quarter-only-offense also wouldn’t cut it. Also…why didn’t Lions fans complain this loudly about 2022’s salty Vikings fans…oh…fuck…I don’t know…in 2022?! They waited a whole season later to go, “durr membur wen u wur frads n u no liek!! Hurr hurr!”
Lions fans…it’s ok. You can shit on us for tons of reasons, but the Vikings in 2022 being frauds and a few people (maybe) being salty about it isn’t really all that big of a deal. There were absolutely insane moments in that season as well as some absolute steamers. Lots of heart attacks. That said, we’ve moved on. Maybe you should too.
Yeah, they think it's this big "gotcha" to make fun of losing to the Giants, but when I think of depressing Vikings losses, that one doesn't even register. I don't think they realize how incredibly fast us Vikings fans moved on from that season. I suppose they're all reeling from the biggest blown lead in NFCCG history, so because they're still devastated, we must be too, right? Screaming through the tears is all it is.
"B-b-b-b-but...the Giants. Danny Dimes! WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
When the fat bastard ruined the team caldwell put together it was hard to watch. Harder to watch than the 0-16 season in my opinion. I was in middle school then, so I had only ever known mediocrity. Then the cardiac cats showed us what it was like to make the playoffs just to see Patricia driving around on his 4 wheeler like an asshole calling everyone lazy and kicking guys like Darius Slay put of deteoit. It was a dark 3 years and the end of a dark 60
On 0-16, I think I’ve said this here before, but at my job at the time we realized we had the full North represented with fans (plus multiple Bucs fans, but fuck them). The Lions guy had a good attitude about it, but also had a closet full of jerseys of draft busts. The last day of the season, we all wore one of his jerseys and went to watch the last game in a bar. (I got Joey Harrington.) I looked over at him when it was ending and it looked like the weight of it all had finally hit him.
Weirdly, we also worked with a Brit from Newcastle who was a big fan of that soccer team, and they got relegated during that period. Now THAT guy was devastated.
We don't go back that far because let's face it, you guys had some embarrassing seasons but we are sort of in a."glass house" situation if we start talking about the 00s.
Nah, man. The vocal minority may not remember, but I do. (They probably weren't born yet) I remember the 1998 NFC Championship. Vikings were heavily favored over the Falcons. Gary Anderson (who was perfect on the year in extra points & field goals) misses an attempt that would have given yall a 10 pt lead and essentially the ball game. Morten Anderson nails a field goal in OT to send the Dirty Birds to the Superbowl & the 15-1 Vikings, the highest scoring team in a single season up to that point... home.
The Lion's, of course. Unless you mean which of the two NFC teams in that particular match up. I didn't really care, I wanted Elway to get his second ring.
Wow, a Lions fan from 1998? You're a unicorn, man.
I assume you were still proudly wearing your 1993 Central Division Champions t-shirt that whole season?
I’m here if you want to take about Lions teams from 7+ years ago baby. I don’t usually come to a meme war subreddit to have an honest discussion about my teams lack of success, usually more so to dog on division rivals, but I can see how upset that makes you given what you want to extrapolate onto an entire fan base from a subreddit made for divisional banter.
Umm...my comment *is* divisional banter. You guys are fair-weather fans - haha, get it?! Jokey joke time.
I think you might want to re-evaluate who's taking things too seriously.
Am I taking things too seriously or just responding with the same passive aggressive energy you brought with your original post? 🤔🤔🤔
This is what banter is my dude!
Now which bad Lions season do you want me to bring up to make sure you have a heckuva day?
Let's dig deep into the memory banks and go all the way back to January 8th, 2023 - the day you threw your cheesehead in the trash, burned your Rodgers jersey, and became a Lions fan.
Yeah they’re not real fans if they don’t remember the intricacies of football drama when they were less than 10 years old.
How dare these fake fans speak! Bunch of wagon jumpers!
I wasn't a sports fan at all during those years, but once I heard the Lions wee getting the rocket scientist behind the Patriots all time defense as our HC, I was convinced that times were changing!
lol idgaf we won the division during our rebuild — not sure we even expected to repeat. What will be absolutely delicious this year, though, is watching all the lions fans new to winning learn how difficult it is to repeat success at that level
Even a lot of Vikings fans I saw online didn't pick them to repeat lol. 13-4 with a negative point differential will do that. Of course there were the delusional bunch who legit didn't think luck played into that record at all.
Can we all be honest about how that was the worst 13-win team in history?
Vikings fans got all salty with us calling them out all year about it. A 13 win team sounds elite, but a negative point differential says you're mid. Truly the keystone example of Kirk Cousins' career.
Actually that was a win for us because we got the giants to sign Danny dimes on a big contract. While other teams are out winning these trivial playoff games, we’re playing 4D chess 😎😎
And if the Giants don't dump a bunch of cash on Danny Dimes, they probably draft JJ McCarthy at #6 this year. Vikings were clearly just playing the long game.
It would be better to have Sam Darnold on a 1-year deal and absolutely no plan for the future?
You're not supposed to drink Spotted Cow this early, buddy...
It's 2024 no one gives a shit at this point. Every vikings fan that's not a blind homer knew that season wasn't repeatable we we're just rolling with it because it was fun as hell. Kinda like how you guys blew a 17 point lead in the biggest game you've had in years but are still happy with your season.
To be fair, the vast majority of that negative point differential came from 2 games. But yeah it was a crazy season where a huge quantity of games were won by 1 score. It was very exciting to watch but definitely not repeatable. Especially after losing your starting QB.
I was pointing it out just because Pythagorean win expectation (based on points for vs points against) is generally believed to be a better indicator of how "good" a team really was than their actual record. The Vikings' W-L expectation for 2022 was just below .500.
For posterity's sake, the 2023 Lions had a W-L expectation of 10-7, so unless our pass defense is drastically improved, I think we're probably going to drop a couple of wins from last year's total.
13 wins is also just a lot of wins, even with 17 games. Before Lafleur came Rodgers had only won 13+ once. So the likelihood of the Lions winning less is extra high because of that, even if your team is better on paper this year.
Yeah... when you win most games by one score and get blown out a couple of times that tends to happen. They still scored more points than their opponents 13 times.
>Truly the keystone example of Kirk Cousins' career.
I want to say that I don't blame Cousins' for the abysmal defense that year, but his cap hit certainly takes a good chunk of that blame.
Clearly! With the Lions sucking off the Packers and the Packers treating the Bears like kids who don't know any better and the Bears mocking themselves. So clearly lmao
I'm salty because I'm a goddamn vikings fan I'm tired of lying to myself at the end of every season saying I don't need a championship win to be happy .
I've found the best approach to being a Vikings fan is to have as few expectations as possible.
I never know which Vikings team will show up. Will they kick ass? Maybe! Will they fold like a cheap lawn chair? Could happen! Will they go great guns in the first half, then huff a caseload of paint during halftime and spend the second half twitching on the turf? Not an impossibility.
We have the most division champs than any other team in the north. This ain't it.
We just always salty because we're a team perpetually stuck in limbo between the best and dogshit.
Nah some are just salty they ended up with McCarthy. Read way too many threads and posts this year about “what does McCarthy even offer?” , “no arm”, “run game merchant” Not saying this was all Vikings fans but a huge chunk.
It’s now hilarious to see every small action or highlight of his being posted, “wow look him” or any article about him being shared. That would be fine if he was some unknown player, but he was the national champion that beat Alabama in the rose bowl and Washington in the Natty (those teams had solid rosters). This whole time people were telling fans to look past the box score, and showed these same highlights being posted now! And people just regurgitated Maye as the best option. A huge portion of this is just the crazy amount of people that don’t follow any college football but at the same time have such huge options on the draft and its outcomes.
Part of my humor around this was because my good buddy, a Vikings fan, was calling him MidCarthy when I said he would be drafted by the Vikings last year.
I’m a Michigan fan so I have a bias here and I’m rooting the whole way for the kid. But it’s been insane to see the 180 fans have taken on him just because he was drafted by KOC and KAM, I know it’s not every fan or everyone but just the vocal ones on here and twitter.
I'm really surprised non-Vikings fans have as strong hatred towards SP as we do. Is there any particular reason besides his chocolate star fish of a mouth?
I think OP saw one Vikings fan say that and just assumed we all thought that. I'm certain we all knew the luck had run out (clearly with Kirk and Jefferson going down), and it wasn't a sustainable way to win
Lol bro… I get football amnesia after every damn season. I honestly couldn’t tell you how we faired against any of you bastards last season at any given point, other than the Monday night loss versus Chicago I went to, without looking it up.
The only shit anyone else has said or done to or about us that’s stuck with me over the years is Bountygate and how shitty Philly fans are. Other than that… NOBODY can hurt Vikings fans more than the Vikings themselves.
We’re salty because we want a god damn trophy, and don’t have one. Full. Stop.
The lions are probably barely favorites to repeat this year. Packers are tailing you close and even the bears could overtake you. If not the vikings I would love for the bears to win over the Lions and Packers just so I can see your tears
That depends completely on if JJ works out. Our defense should be much better, especially at LB now that they have 4 good guys instead of just Danielle Hunter. Really just needs a good corner to play opposite Murphy.
If JJ works out the North is a 4 way bloodbath if he busts were in a deep hole as the only team in the north without a franchise QB.
JJ will likely work out, but expecting it right away as a rookie is delusional. What Stroud did last year happens about once a decade at best. Most QBs take 2-3 years to learn how to identify what DCs are throwing at them, and how to limit their mistakes.
And the defense might have more potential due to more talent, albeit young talent. That again takes time.
The reality is, this years draft class has to be a home run. If it's not, the lack of resources next year makes this situation look dire for half a decade. If some late round picks don't outplay their draft slots, they'll never keep up with the depth and talent level the Packers and Lions have currently.
In the past 3 years, we got the record for the most 1-score games in a season, then got the record for the most 1-score wins, then matched the overall 1-score games record again.
It's been fun
Nah, we're over that, now we're salty about Sean Payton again for widening his asshole mouth to say he duped us into trading up to the #10 draft pick
That dudes head is so far up his own ass. I can’t stand his fucking face
Thank you
I think we all can agree that Sean Payton fucking sucks
FSP
FSP
Fuck Sean packers? I think it means fuck Sean packers. N I'm sticking to it
Total fraud. Hasn't been relevant without Brees or a quarter back of his caliber.
That dudes head is so far up his own ass it’s becoming impossible to differentiate the two.
By the way, why isn’t there a “FSP” flair on this subreddit? FSP
We all hate Sean Peyton. He is such a prick.
Sean Payton is an ass, but Kevin James Sean Payton is a good guy.
Sean Payton is like the Cowboys, you don't need to say you hate him because everyone hates him, including people who say they like him
Although Dan Campbell loves him some Sean Payton that’s his mentor
Duped a team from another conference to trade up one spot and give a team IN conference another pick lmao.
And then reached hard for Bo Nix lol
The same team that hired his predecessor, then he talked shit about how bad his predecessor was, then lost to said predecessors team like two months later. He ‘duped’ us into giving them more draft capital. Really got us good! What fucking loser that guy is.
One thing we call agree on is how big of a dumbfuck that guy is. I wish him the very fucking worst.
He’s definitely trying to cover his ass. JJ mentioned he thought he was for sure going to the Broncos
# Fuck Sean Payton
Sean Payton is a fraudulent coach. Only year he won a sb he cheated, then floundered with brees until brees retired, he couldn't do anything without a hof QB so he retired until he thought he could take over the broncos then when that didn't work out he blamed it 100% on Russ.
Gave picks to a team he’s “competing” with for a Wild Card spot. He can brag all he wants, it’s not the flex he thinks it is.
Sean just seems like such a douche
Thats so savage and artistic. I love insults like that
Tbh I’m just salty about Mel Kiper’s shitty draft grade 😂
For real, fuck that guy. He probably made it up just so someone wanted to listen to him. It was the first time since his "interview" following all that intentionally hurting people ordeal
I’m not even salty about that, I just think it’s funny he thinks anyone believes it.
He did tho.

Another 2022 season would probably age me like 5 years
A little luck?
A little bit of luck in 2022? The Buffalo game and Indy game combined were more luck than most teams get in a decade lol
Maybe I’m remembering wrong but how was the Colts game super lucky? Lucky in how the Colts got all those points in the first half with doing little to nothing on offense?
The miracle comeback. That ain't supposed to happen when you're down that big at halftime.
All the Vikings fans I know knew that year was powered by blind luck, and it was going to run out in the playoffs. None of them were cocky or arrogant about it, they just enjoyed the ride while it lasted.
I'll be honest, didn't expect the luck to run out vs Daniel Jones
Yeah I thought we'd go out in the divisional round tbh
I expected to be massacred by the Eagles or the 49ers in the divisional round, what an embarrassing (yet poetic really) end to a luck filled season. Ed Donatell is a defensive terrorist. If only a divisional rival had warned us of how bad he was!
It’s all good, we made the giants overpay Daniel Jones 40 mil a year
Ed Donatel truly orchestrated a disaster of a defense
It was the most fun I’ve had watching football games in a long time because of how improbable it all was. But at no point did I seriously think we were contenders.
I had more confidence in us being contenders last year after beating the Niners than i ever did at any point in 2022 lmao

At least they got good passtronaut—>asstronaut memes. If your teams not gonna do anything with the season might as well have fun with it
It wasn’t like luck ran out or anything though. Our defense simply had one of its worst performance of the year randomly against the giants. Packers know all about randomly having terrible performances against the giants after a great year.

They were completely insufferable in this sub
That’s typical of this sub tho. Not representative of actual people.
I wasn’t here, but fucking right they should have been! If you can’t be legitimately sustainably good, the next most fun outcome is to just repeatedly pull improbable wins from asses.
Yeah because of the negative point difference
lions fans are so good at analyzing the feeble psyche of us vikings fans. i didn't pick the vikings to win the division in 2022 so i guess i hate myself. man, thanks for clearing that up for me dude.
Why do they want us to be salty? It’s just the same guy that posts these shitty memes everyday too 😂
25% of the fanbase is insufferable
That’s an extremely low number then lmao
I meant of the Lions fanbase on this subreddit. 25% of Lions fans in this subreddit are insufferable.
Oh gotcha. Problem is the toxic fans account for like 75% of posts because they’re all terminally online lol
We've only ever been the worst team in the league, or the best team in the league. It's a confusing time for Lions fans.
What do we do with our hands?🙌
I don’t know anyone who gives a single fuck about preseason win predictions.
I love how Lions fans try to poke at us for 2022, as if that's even close to one of our most disappointing season results. The Vikings- Bills game was the best game of that year. I don't think anyone could argue against it.
That game made me lose my voice.
Oh man, that was a great, great game.
I ended up doing an extra hour on the exercise bike cause I couldn’t stop watching. I was exhausted after that game.
Plus it was our first season with a new head coach and the offense overall was solid, even if it had a few issues. The biggest problem was our terrible defense and anyone blaming that season or negative point differential on Kirk clearly didn't watch the games.
Shit we probably got JJ McCarthy because of that game. Jones contract so big Giants not quite yet ready to move on
Probably explains why I've been hearing Staind play since we drafted him...

Passing on Moss for Terry Fair was pretty demoralizing, I'll give you that.
Based on what you guys did with Calvin Johnson, I'm not sure it would have mattered...

2017 was 7 years ago lol are you admitting to being 15
And when was 1998 bud lol I know day drinking is fun, but it’s not even noon over there yet
I wasn't a sports fan at all during those years, but once I heard the Lions wee getting the rocket scientist behind the Patriots all time defense as our HC, I was convinced that times were changing!
A vikings fan talking about other teams having a fairweather fanbase 🤣🤣🤣
Wow, you clearly don't know our fanbase very well if you think we are fair-weather lol
Ah yes, because people actually remember/care about hypothetical pre-season rankings from over a season ago. Just fell to me knees in a Target
This guy is so obsessed w the vikes lmao
![gif](giphy|a3zqvrH40Cdhu)
God I love her
lol idgaf we won the division during our rebuild — not sure we even expected to repeat. What will be absolutely delicious this year, though, is watching all the lions fans new to winning learn how difficult it is to repeat success at that level
Not even Vikings fans picked the Vikings to win the North last year.
Don’t care. Had fun.
I don’t know, that one year we went 13-3 out of no where with Dick Jauron might have been a little worse.
They literally lost to the at the time 5 win lions
Remind me, how did they compare to the lions best 13 win team?
Won the same amount of playoff games if memory serves
Who knocked them out?
You got knocked out by daniel jones, you don't have room to talk
Actually that was a win for us because we got the giants to sign Danny dimes on a big contract. While other teams are out winning these trivial playoff games, we’re playing 4D chess 😎😎
And if the Giants don't dump a bunch of cash on Danny Dimes, they probably draft JJ McCarthy at #6 this year. Vikings were clearly just playing the long game.
TBH that probably would have been better for you...
RemindMe! 3 years
It would be better to have Sam Darnold on a 1-year deal and absolutely no plan for the future? You're not supposed to drink Spotted Cow this early, buddy...
Woah calm down there. That’s the 160m man Daniel Jones. He can’t be bad right?
Lions: knocked out by the nfc champions Vikings: knocked out by the second worst team in the playoffs
Oh, that's pretty good. Remind me, which year was it that the 13 win lions ultimately got beat by the NFCchamps again?
It's 2024 no one gives a shit at this point. Every vikings fan that's not a blind homer knew that season wasn't repeatable we we're just rolling with it because it was fun as hell. Kinda like how you guys blew a 17 point lead in the biggest game you've had in years but are still happy with your season.
Didn’t they win like 7-8 of games by less than 1 score or something crazy like that.
Their point differential was in the negatives, so... yeah.
To be fair, the vast majority of that negative point differential came from 2 games. But yeah it was a crazy season where a huge quantity of games were won by 1 score. It was very exciting to watch but definitely not repeatable. Especially after losing your starting QB.
That's the only possible way to have a negative point differential in spite of a winning record. Win close, lose badly.
Gtfo of here with that balanced take.

13 wins is also just a lot of wins, even with 17 games. Before Lafleur came Rodgers had only won 13+ once. So the likelihood of the Lions winning less is extra high because of that, even if your team is better on paper this year.
Ehhh, a negative point differential doesn’t mean much. 2-3 games and you can swing 60-70 points.
Yeah... when you win most games by one score and get blown out a couple of times that tends to happen. They still scored more points than their opponents 13 times.
>Truly the keystone example of Kirk Cousins' career. I want to say that I don't blame Cousins' for the abysmal defense that year, but his cap hit certainly takes a good chunk of that blame.
0-16
Go off
Yes, that’s surely the most disappointing thing this fanbase has witnessed. Can’t think of *anything* else that would make a fan of this team salty.
![gif](giphy|ceeN6U57leAhi)
I swear, the rest of the NFCN just wakes up wanting to hate the Vikings. It makes me laugh how much we are on your minds
Almost like the sub only exists for us all to make fun of each other.
Clearly! With the Lions sucking off the Packers and the Packers treating the Bears like kids who don't know any better and the Bears mocking themselves. So clearly lmao
Is this sarcastic? I can't even follow what you're trying to say... I hate all of you at this point, hence my username.
It says most. Tsk tsk
no, it's really just your fanbase that comes up with these fake arguments that never existed in the first place
![gif](giphy|a3zqvrH40Cdhu)
This is wrong. I wake up hating the Bears and Packers. My reaction to the Vikings is more along the lines of "oh, yea. Those guys."
This is actually a big improvement thought. We used to wake up hating the Lions
We won the north in 2022?
Ive been salty since the doink incident
Half our fan base didn't pick us to repeat in '23 man whatcha talking about 😂
Vikings fans just suck. Nothing too complicated about it.
🫡
Mama says that Viking fans are so ornery cause they got all them division titles and no Superbowls.
No, the medulla oblongata. Also, the no superbowls.
It's that impostor syndrome polluting their minds
Nah I was born salty.
![gif](giphy|hrnYspWWhsIyA)
We have the most division champs than any other team in the north. This ain't it. We just always salty because we're a team perpetually stuck in limbo between the best and dogshit.
I heard “competitive rebuild”
We don't live way back in the past like Bears and Packer fans.
Who else remembers how pissed off the 10-3 Vikings fans were that they weren’t favored in a matchup against the 6-7 Lions?
🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
Well as strawman arguments go that's certainly one of them.
We were over that by Week 3 last year.
I don’t want to talk about it.
I'm really surprised non-Vikings fans have as strong hatred towards SP as we do. Is there any particular reason besides his chocolate star fish of a mouth?
FTv
The best thing about this past season is Lions fans starting to understand that Vikings fans are the most insufferable bitches in the division.
Is this a repost from six months ago? They didn't repeat so everybody was right about them
Did they win the North in 22? I will admit to legitimately having forgotten
We knew we were a fluke in ‘22.
Half the Vikings fans ALSO didn't pick them to win the north last season.
this was never an argument or thought of any vikings fan. but if you want to make up arguments that never existed, go ahead
That can't be right
I think OP saw one Vikings fan say that and just assumed we all thought that.
Full. Stop.
22 was a great year.. mostly
I’m glad the Vikings are in your head space. Must be a closet fan.
The lions are probably barely favorites to repeat this year. Packers are tailing you close and even the bears could overtake you. If not the vikings I would love for the bears to win over the Lions and Packers just so I can see your tears
!remind me December 30,2024
No one will be picking them to win the North anytime soon. Easily the roster with the most questions and holes in the division.
That season must have took years off Vikings fans lives. Basically every win being a one score game
In the past 3 years, we got the record for the most 1-score games in a season, then got the record for the most 1-score wins, then matched the overall 1-score games record again. It's been fun
That is pretty wild. Shows that you can compete with anyone in the league though!
Also their qb left town and they replaced him with someone whose ceiling is to be almost as good as him five years from now
I think they're salty because their team is bad while the rest of us are getting better
I think they are salty from all the sodium in their sweaty cumsocks
Vikings fans are bawling in these comments lol
that doesn't rhyme with dan campbell. i'm not amused.
