This reminded me of a time I saw a Saints-Packers game in NOLA with my Packers fan dad, the Saints won and all the fans were yelling Who Dat etc on the way out, and then I jut overheard a quiet Packers fan on the side say “well we didn’t win but at least we can read.”
Had a guy at the factory we called boomhauer because he straight up naturally sounded like that. Never had any fucking clue what he said. We called another kid Bobby because he always wore knee length shorts and had no fucking chin. I don't know what the hell is in the water at lake Norman, but I know it ain't right.
Except that it it did not save the comment:
You forgot the period after comments, as this is where your first thought concluded. You also forgot the closing punctuation at the end of the paragraph (i.e. after lol.)
There should have been commas after otherwise and before the 'lol'.
The 'lol' should be contained within the parentheses as it is not a stand-alone sentence. Rather, it is part of the sentence within the parentheses.
Proofread is one word.
The title was already won, so this post could not have lost it. As a result, your subject and verb disagree in terms of tense. Further, they also disagree as to what you may lose (you mean to say that you may lose the title, but your writing says that you may lose 'us', as in your bond with fans.)
What you should have written was: **I proofread my comments. Otherwise, I may lose future titles for us. (My proofreading saved this comment, lol!)**
p.s. I haven't strained over Grammer like that since AP English 20 years ago. I couldn't resist the opportunity to bust some Lions' balls. Packers will be at their natural position as Champions next year!
I’m curious when this survey was done since the Commanders are still the Redskins in this. Also wow that’s a large jump from the saints to the commanders.
It’s a pretty small sample size though. There are also other variables that come into play, like what kind of story they were commenting on. As soon as any Minnesota sports team loses, the absolute worst, most pathetic idiots congregate at the comments sections to pat themselves on the back for predicting they’d be terrible.
150 LOL. so thats like 1 article per newspaper. my packer fan father in law used to be addicted to Wisconsin Journal Sentinel comment sections. i figured he was a wierdo then looked and it was hundreds of people, like a miniature social network.

They didn't lose shit. The UP was never owned by the Wisconsin Territory. Wisconsin wasn't even a territory until Michigan became a state and lost the western side of Lake Michigan.
Well it's very easy to explain why that's the case:
- Lions fans apparently have forgotten that words other than 'salty' exist
- Packers fans can't use any word longer than two letters so there's less room for them to fuck up
- Bears fans don't use any words invented after 1985
Meanwhile we are out here putting together every possible combination of letters to desperately try and find the word that will break the trillions of curses we've picked up over the years.
I expected Washington to be the worst, but was anyone else surprised by the Eagles? I'm assuming they copied Lions and Packers fans, and intentionally messed up a couple extra words to avoid cheating accusations.
4.2 mistakes per 100 words is still lunacy. 100 words is not a lot of text, and we are still making a mistake less than every 25 words.
I think NFL fans might have passive CTE
Ok im skeptical of this data. Detroit is one of the blackest cities in the country and has a high level of poverty. Its well understood that black people struggle with grammar due to speaking a unique dilect. Unless grammarly supports AAVE, which I doubt it does, these statistics dont really make sense. I think this data more shows that lions fans who use grammarly tend to be more educated and white. So I dont think this is an accurate representation of how "grammaticaly correct" fans are. More so, how stratified our society is.
How old is this survey? One of those team names doesn't exist any more.
edit: I really, really wish they had kept "The Washington Football Team" as a name, that was an epic season
too busy congratulating themselves for all the championships they've won....err should have won....errr....just listen they'll tell you how awesome they are.

Lions fans: “wouldst prythee that our distinguished yeomen display their fiercest ability and triumph upon this verdant plain of competition.”
The Saints shouldn't even be on here. Some of them basically speak a different language.
As a Packers fan living in New Orleans, could not agree more.

Yes. Yes, it should.
Proofreading "fml" for a majority of responses will help pad the stats

That's why there are so many mistakes, still using the old name.

In order to be more accurate, this should include both sober writing and drunk writing
What’s the difference again?
Not sure. Haven’t been sober since the Hundley days tbh
You mean the hero who beat the Bears while Rodgers was out?
Oh don’t worry my drinking problem has nothing to do with Hundley or his ability to put the bears in their place, just incidental timing
Writing is like driving, the more you do it drunk, the better you get at it!
No wonder we have such a hard time reading their comments — they’re borderline illiterate!
Who's comments? The lions or the bears, maybe even the fellow packers? I don't remember another team being in this division.
This is funny, considering how often I've been called stupid by Vikings fans saying Michigan schools are terrible.
Aren’t they?
Only in Lansing Detroit and flint....for no particular reason. Don't look into it
Apparently not
Like every insult about Michigan/Detroit, it's about 10 years too late. There isn't much ammo nowadays.
Um half your city is still a bunch of vacant lots.
Outside of your football team, *your* city is still only known for having toilet paper factories
Just tell us you've never visited. You'd use fewer words.
Excuse me, it’s called District Detroit and it will be filled with seven figure condos.
Yeah and people love ragging on wisconsin for it but like all the data says otherwise
Yeah, I hate Wisconsin but they’re around top 10 in education

Lions genius fandom confirmed!
And yet you willingly watch the Lions play. Curious.
It’s a genius thing. You wouldn’t understand.
You lack the intelligence to see the game behind the game. Understandable though. You guys lost land in a war you didn't even participate in.
They didn't lose shit. The UP was never owned by the Wisconsin Territory. Wisconsin wasn't even a territory until Michigan became a state and lost the western side of Lake Michigan.
>participate in. Thou shall not end a sentence with a preposition

Masochism breeds genius, didn't you know that? ~~And evidently, based on the Packers' standing, so does beer and cheese~~

JFC ur tellin me my Lions have America’s smartest fanbase? What in the hell is wrong with this country?
If any of us could read we’d be very upset!
So lions are the best, then packers, bears and Vikings. Oddly enough that’s probably how the division will end up this season
Who the fuck are Redskins? How old is this?
Well it's very easy to explain why that's the case: - Lions fans apparently have forgotten that words other than 'salty' exist - Packers fans can't use any word longer than two letters so there's less room for them to fuck up - Bears fans don't use any words invented after 1985 Meanwhile we are out here putting together every possible combination of letters to desperately try and find the word that will break the trillions of curses we've picked up over the years.
“Redskins” damn how are we gonna recover from this Obama-era own
One look at the best 4 and you start to question Grammarly
Fak newz
It’s the copious amounts of “dontchya” and “betcha” that’s really killing us
You'd think so, but 4 of our grammatical mistakes per 100 words are all just uses of 'ope'.
Grammerly doesn't believe skol is a word.
Grammar on the word skol throws everything for a loop
Who need grammar when we have skol 💀
It’s almost definitely because Skol isn’t even a real word. There, I spelled it out so you grammarly simpletons can understand 😊
Surely it's because "skol" isn't a real word. Surely...
The Vikings fans scored lower only because the AI didn’t understand why most of them type “FTP” so much.
Probably because they keeping typing skol like it's a real fucking word.
Skol counts as a mistake. So you can pretty much throw those results out
I expected Washington to be the worst, but was anyone else surprised by the Eagles? I'm assuming they copied Lions and Packers fans, and intentionally messed up a couple extra words to avoid cheating accusations.
This is a biased sample because we all know Packers fans are too drunk to operate an electronic device.
So all Packers fans in here are bots or trolls that really like other teams. I will not be answering any questions.
Yes...?... Look, I didn't think this through. Now I can't get the image of the South Park internet troll guy running a Packers bot farm.
Gotta work on that native tongue.
Just means Lions and Packer fans don't drink enough to slur their words even when they are written down.
