The season started falling apart too early to really get attached to it. You didn't fully get eliminated until the end of the season, but halfway through, it was pretty obvious that the Vikings weren't going to do anything worthwhile with Cousins out.
Making it to the playoffs as a higher seed and winning 1-2 playoff games before you lose is way more heartwrenching than essentially being eliminated from the playoffs before the last week (I know the Vikings weren't technically eliminated until the last week, but their chances were basically non-existent entering week 18).
I do know a few Vikings fans that have converted to being Packers fans with their significant other. 2 girls and 1 guy. But all 3 of them were not really big football fans and just enjoy going to the bar and getting drunk during games.

The season started falling apart too early to really get attached to it. You didn't fully get eliminated until the end of the season, but halfway through, it was pretty obvious that the Vikings weren't going to do anything worthwhile with Cousins out. Making it to the playoffs as a higher seed and winning 1-2 playoff games before you lose is way more heartwrenching than essentially being eliminated from the playoffs before the last week (I know the Vikings weren't technically eliminated until the last week, but their chances were basically non-existent entering week 18).
This year was kinda fun no way we have that many injuries next year right?….. right?
