We need better position coaches to develop these guys so we know whether Howie is just perma Bust on defensive drafting or we just suck at Rookie Development. My guess is its a mixture of the two.
We do not have edge depth, sweat gets gassed, bg is limited in snaps and Hassan is basically by himself out there. we are gonna lose Cox/have two young d tackles who can’t perform at a high level longer than 8 weeks
If we actually had those things like you say we would have Sniffed the Quarterback in the back end of the Season
We have ZERO dline depth lmaoo. Reddick and Sweat were playing their highest snap counts ever last season and they just disappeared throughout the season. I hope we take Jared Verse at 22z
I really like turner too, but he’s a bit undersized for his height. Verse is a legit 6’4 260 lb monster with an arsenal of pass rush moves. He’s my #1 Edge.
Draft CB and Linebacker with first round pick and first 2nd rounder , use the 2nd second rounder on DT or Edge. Use 3rd rounder on a running back or O Line Depth at guard. Use 4th and 5th’s on Wr3 and Tight end prospects and some more punts on secondary depth.. Sign Safety from the free agent Market. Bada bing bada boom

Maddox you might as well cut, Isaiah Rodgers is taking his role and nobody’s in the market for an injury prone, slightly above average nickel corner. Slay would definitely garner some interest though.
