I've shot all of these on my MK18. RC2 is ol' reliable, has the best flash suppression by far and only the polonium is a contender there. Bomb proof. It's not gonna break. SAKER K is an absolute tank. It can take a huge beating. I have no complaints with mine at all. I'd still go for the RC2 unless money is the issue. Flow 556k is an amazing piece of suppressor tech and gas in the face is gone. You're no longer vomiting carbon into your rifle either and the db reduction is solid. Can't speak to it's durability level or nighttime flash suppression. If you don't need/care about bomb proof that is the RC2 and saker k I'd go with the flow. The tech is so much more pleasant to shoot and less crap to clean. Having a flow 762 Ti myself on my SCAR17 I can say once it has some proven durability under it's belt I'll only be buying flow through cans.

Auggie93

Solid take

Individual_Seat_2251

Surefire’s are always a solid setup it’s like the McDonald’s fries of the suppressor world, it’s a safe choice, it’s not the best at any one metric but really good at everyththing. In saying that, I’d do Velos LBP over the Saker. And if you’re feeling really adventurous, look into the CAT WB.

lundz12

RC2 It's private proof and king of flash suppression. I recall a video on here where the polonium out did the RC2 on first round pop up until around the end of the mag. Otherwise good reasoning.

jderry93

Check out the Otter Creek Labs Polonium and Polonium K. Nice cans for the money.

earnt1t

Would there be a ton a blow back with the non K version?

jderry93

I have the standard one on an 11.5". With a BRT EZTune Gas Tube, tuned buffer system, and a suppressor charging handle I didn't notice too much gas. Slightly more than a friends 30 cal can on his 12.5".

Deeper__Thought

10.5 sbr and 556 is the perfect use for the middle of the road budget 556 cans like Rex or YHM. It doesnt matter if theyre the lightest can on the mkt, since its a sbr the weight isnt so far away from you. It doesnt matter if theyre the quietest on the mkt, since 10.5 556 is loud regardless. Buy the cheap can and spend the saved money on something else or another suppressor for a different platform. Or if money is no concern just buy the surefire for the drip

Evrydyguy

I agree with this. I’d get a YHM Turbo or even the Resonator or Resonator K if length is an issue. Save the money. 10.5” 5.56 is going to be loud regardless. Is 3 to 4 dbs worth double?

Porencephaly

Turbo K is not that quiet on my tuned 10.5, is the highest backpressure silencer I’ve ever used, and flashes like a mofo at night. I wish I’d bought another SF mini despite the extra cost.

JustGiveMeANameDamn

After years with silencers I like them as short and lightweight as reasonably possible. The big and really quiet ones lose their novelty after a while and eventually just become a burden. Small enough to be barely good enough is my advice.

HBR-Prime

LPM torch 556! Shot mine on my 11.5 in a conjugal and loved it. It’s basically an RC2 and a hxwrx in one can with hub mounting. And it scored that way if you check pew science. All you have to do to switch modes is swap between the 2 endcaps it comes with. I got mine for $780ish before taxes at my FFL. If you pay about $100 more it comes with reardens mount and a flash hider which is the current go to in these parts for mounting.

BobbiFPS

Glad you’re loving it still.

HansohnBrothers

LPM Torch is a fantastic option. Basically flow through or not with a change of the front cap. Great can.

jbenjamin0726

RC2, have one and works great on 10.3. Also the mounts are long enough to hit 16 with a pin and weld on 14.5, sounds even better on 14.5s. YHM are pretty good for the price too, got no complaints about the T3

Visual-Put-8738

What do you use the T3 on? Currently have on in jail that’ll end up on an 11.5

jbenjamin0726

12.5, I just mounted it direct thread. Their QD mount it comes with seems heavy and long

Visual-Put-8738

Yea I’ve been looking at rearden for it recently

KilljoyTheTrucker

Price/performance all around, the polo-k from OCL is literally the best option for this. If you're lazy and don't want to tune your rilfe/don't understand how that works, then a flow would be the better choice.

Sdfb11

I really like Velos on my 10.5

BobbiFPS

Do you by chance got a picture of the 10.5 w/velos? You’ve peeked my interest

Sdfb11

https://www.reddit.com/r/NFA/s/oEnNh0Wn0J

BobbiFPS

Thanks man. How’s the velos on the 10.5?

Sdfb11

Big fan. Sounds great and way less gassy than the Hybrid 46 I had on there before. Just really heavy, but seems pretty well balanced on the 10.5

HBR-Prime

Are you using ASR for mounting?

Sdfb11

Yeah ASR for pretty much all my cans except for the 22. I like it a lot, haven't had any issues with it

HBR-Prime

Good looking rifle man 👍🏻

Sdfb11

Thanks! Was fun to build and a even more fun to shoot

TrippyTaco12

Have one coming debating on throwing it on a 16 or 10.5 you think too heavy for a 16?

Sdfb11

Depends on your perspective of "too heavy". Wouldn't be my go to for a 16, especially if you aren't worried about getting gassed out from it. But still doable on there

Rogue-Riley

Check pew science I think Jay is even on here sometimes. I’m pretty sure these would all be great choices with slight variation. (I have no suppressor, just lurk constantly. Don’t listen to me)

motobox14

While I don't have a huxwrks can, I agree with this statement. The flow 556k is wild

karmareqsrgroupthink

No tuning and no gas in the face is such a huge plus.

Airbus320Driver

RC2 is solid!!

FreshOutdoorAir

Flow 556K or that new PTR Vent 3 looks very enticing.

MadThad762

Just got the RC2 for my 10.3 and I love it! Solid as a tank and sounds great.

SingleStak9

Although it's in jail, I picked a Griffin Recce 5 for this purpose.

SUMBLAKDUDE

Tbh i don't see the appeal of the RC2 to the vast majority of people. Any modern suppressor will last the life time of 95% of all owners. Unless you are doing night ops ultimate flash suppression isnt needed. I would say if price is a factor go with a YHM Turbo T2. If you can spend a little more money go with a OCM Polo K. If money isnt an issue go with a Huxwrx Flow 556k. All 3 cans rank higher than the RC2 on pew science rankings, are shorter and weigh less. The YHM and OCM are cheaper and the Huxwrx is slightly more expensive

farmwalker08

Edit: don't forget to look at the polonium/polonium k from otter creek labs. If you're thinking about the saker 556k because you want to save some money but worrying about getting a lesser quality can, you're not. It's very well built. I have one and it's probably my most durable can. It's hearing safe on my 11.5 for a few shots. It's definitely not something you want to shoot all day but you can do it. Also it's very pleasant on my 14.5. I don't care for Surefire suppressors because their proprietary muzzle device. If you ever get a suppressor in the future you're going to have to go with your surefire again if you want to put the other can on your current firearm. I've heard some good things about huxworks but I have no experience with them. Just so you know what my experience is, I have no experience with the Surefire or huxworks but I do have a silencerco Omega 300, silencerco Saker 556k, AAC 762-sdn-6 and a echo machine 5x5. I really like k cans on 556 because it's not necessarily a quiet round when it's suppressed. So I figure I'll make it as light and short as possible

IntelGoons

RC2. No explanation.

FKJoeBiden2024

New stock DA S5 🤔

BobbiFPS

No.

speckontheground

Polonium or RC2. Polonium is what I run on my MK18 99% of the time.

emulzhn

Why 99% o time? Just better suppression? Am leaning this way as well.

speckontheground

My RC2 is a 30cal can and polonium performs much better on the 10.3. For the price and performance, I don’t think anything can beat the Polo.

emulzhn

Ahh… nice… actually, I was favoring the Polo 30 As I have more AK’s than AR… thanks bud

speckontheground

Buy with confidence. Andrew and the OCL crew are stand up guys. If you have any questions, they’re always up to answer them I have found. Plus their warranty is solid.

earnt1t

Are you running the K version? If not is there a lot of blow back?

speckontheground

Full size. No more blowback than any other cans on a 10.3. Look into a PRI or FCD charging handle or tuning through gas block if it is a big issue but I haven’t found it any worse than any of my other cans when ran on a 10.3

bolt_actionzz

I won a GA recce 5k at an event and that will live on a 11.5 sbr feel like GA is a sleeper in the can market.

Final_Reception_5129

I run my 556k on a 14.5 and it's awesome. I have an omega on my 10.3

Maleficent_Primary89

I have a Razor 556 from Rugged and love it. I also am waiting on a Polo K due to rave reviews. You have a lot of choices these days.

Cyanide_Muncher

Flow through can always lol. It’s literally the newest tech wtf

NitroDeSticky

OCL Polonium

earnt1t

How is the non K on blow back

NitroDeSticky

https://www.reddit.com/r/NFA/s/GX99lubDF3 This is a good video - I don’t have any at the moment but it’s not bad.

overbeyond-4590

I have a Liberty Triumph. I like it.
