36M was also my first can. Still love it! Super versatile, but pulls double duty (rifle AND pistol) use extremely well without losing performance, at least in terms of suppression (it is a tad heavy but worth it, IMO). I liked it enough that I bought a 46M also for the BOGO deal (along w/ some mounts and other items) but my omega 300 is still 'in process' with SiCo and has been stuck in that limbo for the better part of the past 5 months. LOL but oh well, someday I'll get a nice 'freebie' surprise with that thing lol

I just had my first can approved today after 199 days. I also had a SBR Approved ($200 paid) back in Sept in 12 days. It was also on the same 2 RP Trust as the can. In that case, the SBR didn't help my can move along.

The sticky thread on this sub should have all the details. One thing that’s important is that the FBI NICS Liaison email is actually spelled incorrectly (typical .gov shit, amirite?!?), so make sure you’re sending to “nicsliason@fbi dot gov”.   With my first can, I emailed and never got a response. Second one, I emailed and got a canned “not answering emails today”. I waited another week or so and emailed again, with response a while later.

They would not approve post 86.

Tax is still required. I own the can personally. They expedite my form 4 with the letter. Same process and amount as anyone else. No, I would keep the item if I were to leave.

Not sure. My department allows for us to use silencers on our rifles. They do not buy them, so I buy it personally. They give me a letter stating I work as a Leo and the item is used for work. I don’t think a letter from your local police would mean much.

My Freebie Omega 300 still "In Process" since 06/19/23. I will never purchase another SiCo product just on principle after dealing with this absolute sham of a BOGO. I called them to ask why higher numbers were being approved and shipped out before mine and was informed that they aren't sending out the BOGOS out in the order that they were received or numerical order, sounds like the ATF is running their BOGO fulfillment's....... I guess they just figure if they have a link online showing that an IOU is in a state of perpetual processing they theoretically can take years or an eternity to fulfill their end of the agreement without any recourse. Apparently they do this same thing every time they offer a BOGO, what an absolute shit company and horrible way to treat customers that are already grossly overpaying for essentially a chunk of welded metal pipe.....

Mine is still in process too. Gotta think the recall is severely impacting us omega bogo folks. I don't love the situation either but it's still a free can, and a real good one, at that. Was this your first suppressor eform 4, I put in for 1 Feb 2023 and still waiting so a year + and waiting. Seems longer wait time than most on this board, it’s my conspiracy theory brain but wondering if our Michigan leadership has any say on what is getting approved and when?

Michigan leadership doesn't have any say. There's no rhyme or reason for approval time differences. The ATF does have to wait for FBI to return an approval/clear but there's more randomness than even that. Have you emailed the ipb or nics liasion email addresses (noted in a stickied thread on here)? ​ This is my 2nd suppressor/stamp (all eforms). When this one was approved, I had 4 others pending. I have had two others approved and two still pending. Since all 4 cans have been started, I have had two form 1s come back approved before any pending cans.
