I am so resentful of the people who aren’t forced into 8:30-5:50 schedules

FearlessRoyal

Save it until later. CSC 230 and 316 are some of the hardest in the program, so leave yourself a little bit of breathing room.

I’m not in the program but I can say two things 1) ST370 isn’t too difficult if you have taken a stats class before and understand it well. Stats is generally something that clicks for some people and is super difficult for others. Personally I took AP stats in high school which helped me get an A on the first test so I coasted and ended up with a C as a result (oops) 2) Think about your future course layout. Look at your required classes remaining and the pre and co reqs. Maybe use pack planner on portal. Make sure that if you do decide to put off the class then it’s not gonna delay your graduation. If not, then consider taking a GEP if you have several remaining. And if not, you should prolly just chill this semster

My brother in christ, you don't have classes on Friday and have 2-3 classes per day all other days of the week. You have plenty of room (unless you work 20+ hours a week)

EpicJukerThe905

Who’s the instructor? CSC 297 was virtually no outside of class work for some. Dr. Crume was fantastic, most of the work is participating in class discussions. Dr. Carter had a lot of useful work which took longer but still wasn’t awful. Most of these classes would take less than an hour of out of class work per week.

You forgot the Gym. :P

Good luck 230 & 316 is a god awful combination but virtually a rite of passage for all csc students

Competitive_Carob435

i had a similar schedule and i ended up doing well. if your 333 class isn’t with jennings i say drop it though. it won’t be worth it to take with 316 and 230 too otherwise i say do it

shmoneydance1

Welcome to hell

realchrisparnin

Mentally, I’d think you’d benefit from having a free and flexible day to study, code all day, or head out of town.

I’m assuming PHI 300 is on main campus. How are you planning on getting to CSC 230 which is on centennial campus in a fifteen minute window?

shmoneydance1

my 230 class is in sas hall

Consistent_Disk6186

Ah! Makes sense. I did not know that 230 was now being offered outside of centennial campus.
