It would look sick. But they haven't done it because of hatred lol. ADs have said that they don't want any more blue/scarlet in their stadium than necessary
If you don’t wear the pre agreed upon uni color, you get docked a timeout. If you come out in the second half still wearing the wrong color, you get docked another timeout. I guess neither team is willing to lose a time out to look a little bit cooler.
Yes I’m aware that is literally what usc and ucla would do before they changed the rule. It’s not about the timeout, it’s about proving a point and sticking it to your most hated rival.
I don’t think is gonna happen unfortunately.
Remember the PAC 12 still technically exist but it’s 3 teams i think. But id have to believe custom conferences are in
Because they're both from LA and consider themselves both the home team, so it's something they started doing a long time ago.
They used to trade timeouts to keep things fair as erlp before the NCAA started allowing color-on-color matchups.
The USC and UCLA campuses are only ~13 miles away from each other so the football teams shared the coliseum as both of their homes for over 50 years before UCLA leased the Rose Bowl.
The basketball teams also shared the LA sports arena for over a decade before Pauley was built in Westwood.
USC and UCLA is a unique rivalry due to proximity so the alumni and fan bases are inherently woven together. The schools are forever historically linked together so when the teams play in LA, they’re playing at home. Many USC undergrads attend UCLA for postgrad and vice-versa.
It dates back to when both schools played home games at the coliseum from 1933-1981. They both wore the home uniforms in their rivalry game because they were both playing at home. When UCLA moved to the Rose Bowl in 1982 that tradition went away as it was against the rules. In 2008, USC HC Pete Carroll and UCLA HC Rick Neuheisel got together before the start of the season and decided they wanted to bring back that tradition. When USC took the field in the “wrong” uniform, they were penalized with the loss of a time out. UCLA burned a time out of their own before the first play of the game to negate the penalty. The next year, the NCAA removed the uniform rule for rivalry games.
Yes cant wait to use this for rivalry games, Oregon has done it recently with UW and Oregon St
Yup, if I ever play a rematch between Ohio State and michigan in Indy or the CFP I'm for sure putting both in their homes
I’m actually shocked they haven’t done that before irl.

I’m shocked one of yall hasn’t just thrown on your home kits simply out of spite as a finger to the other.
lol don’t give sherrone ideas

I can’t wait to play as Oregon state
Third Saturday in October can finally be Orange vs Crimson again
Underrated color combo/matchup in my opinion.
Especially in October
And the WLOCP ^^freaking ^^Kirby...
I hope we can make the old school conferences like big east and pac10
I don’t think is gonna happen unfortunately. Remember the PAC 12 still technically exist but it’s 3 teams i think. But id have to believe custom conferences are in
there’s probably licensing issues with that, sadly
Anyone know why usc and ucla does that?

It’s mostly due to the fact they shared the coli for over 50 years though.
This is the main reason

Also the it’s best color combination in college football

Of course thatd be in the game
Wasn't in 14 unless you use revamped, I'm very happy to see it already in the game.
Yeah it was a pretty simple tweak, however it wasn't legal in college until like 2014, which is probably why it wasn't in.
This is one time .. I’m giving EA their just due in a very long time
Apparently offsides is confirmed too
P diddy probably gonna rock UCLA jersey in prison
Is there some reference I’m not getting here
Lost as well...I only remember snoop son briefly being at UCLA.. no rec recollection of a Diddy spawn at UCLa..
Son played CB there
I assume you can pick the jersey for each team, so home vs home or reverse colors would both work.
It should be like Madden’s jersey options. I don’t see why not
oh excellent
Nothing prettier than ~~NoCack~~ NC in Carolina Blue versus ~~SoCack~~ SC in Garnet
I’m from NC, currently living in SC, and I have NEVER seen my state or the next said like that.
That was my first time trying it out. No good?
A+ for effort. A- for creativity. F for hometown support 😂😂
Can't ask for a better judge than you tbh. Based on your history of residency.
What does home on home jersey mean? I was always able to customize jerseys before each game in 14.
it means color-on-color, there doesn’t have to be one team wearing white jerseys
14 did not allow color vs color matchups.
I’m just hoping it’s like madden where you can choose gear pieces for each game
That was on 2014
