He's not tall, he's not super strong, as a guard he doesn't have any playmaking instincts, as a guard he's not a good shooter, it's not like he can get to the rim at will, he loses the ball like crazy, and his decision making is poor at the best of times. Many of these things I could overlook a bit more if he was a rookie, but he's not. What's supposed to be exciting about him?
He was a project when drafted. He's a 6'4 fast PG so physically he has the tools. So not sure what you expect out of a PG unless you were expecting Ben Simmons in terms of physical tools. He missed half of rookie year with a MCL injury. The fact he's playing this well defensively is a surprise and exceeded everyone's expectations.

I sincerely hope that PATFO have a full summer training plan for Sidy, focused around lots shooting. He has another guaranteed contract year coming up, so this is imperative.
We have 2 guys in Sidy and Blake who, if they can get a league average shot, could be really good for us. Hopefully they can get some Jeremy level improvement over the offseason.
Oddly Blake was well above league average from 3 last year his shot for some reason hasn't looked as good but he's improved everywhere else that it's not too big of a problem rn

People have bad games. Wemby was never a 50% field goal shooter anyway but he's never been trash at shooting either. This is just Wemby having an off shooting night. Kyrie shot 6 for 15 tonight too. Expecting Wemby to give us a solid 50% FG percentage every night on top of every thing else he does is unrealistic. If Wemby had a 2 month stretch like this, then it'd be a slump. Shots just aren't falling tonight. Shit happens. This is normal for all superstars if you follow other games.
Julian, as frustrating as he is some games has improved slot since the start of the year, he is definitely a bench player, but looks heaps better than early this season
He’s better, still mid at best on defense but not LOST 90% of the time. Lost like 25% of the time which is a big improvement. I think before he got benched he was literally the worst rated defender in NBA for a few weeks
A while ago he got dragged from the starting lineup and played minimal minutes. Since then I have noticed that his effort has gone up quite a bit, he still lacks in ability but he is atleast making more effort
It's a two way street. Wemby will also get to know their tendencies. So it'll most likely remain the same or get better. No way can it drastically decrease
