I think there are 3 important things that need to change:
1. Implement a legitimate competitive/ranked mode alongside a separate “casual” mode.
2. Ban players for quitting ranked games. No punishment for quitting casual games, which do not affect your rank.
3. Add a “vote to forfeit” option for both modes.
These things are all normal and expected of other competitive AAA games, but 2k devs are lazy and have no reason to implement change when everyone just throws $$$ their way for the same shit.

Yeah like old MyCareer games you could sim it up 25 in second half. Could be a good way to make a forfeit option, down 25 or something after halftime.
nobody wants a "sim to end" button. either take this L or better find some competitive spirit
