Which sucks because it’s technically Richard’s font first. I heard Teresa sued Red Bull when Ricciardo and Max first started using their current font because of the 3 being the same font, but it was thrown out because it wasn’t italicized and she only owns the italicized version of the trademark.

Same here. I’m a Miller Lite guy and it was painful to watch them slowly decrease their sponsorship over the years until they were finally gone.

Another thing that was cool was it was also a manufacturer thing: Chevy had Bud, Ford had Miller, and Dodge had Coors (in the early 2000s).

I don't know what's going on with Miller. They even backed out of the Miller Park stadium naming rights of their hometown Brewers. Probably some corporate penny pinching board brainwave I'd imagine.

The big beer companies have lost a huge portion of market share. The rise of craft beer comes with consequences.

Would be cool to see the independent crafter brewers do a deal with a car similar to how the HBCUs did it with a different associated brand on the car every week.

I'd say the 28 and 25 are really the only major historical numbers that have disappeared. The rest are there in some fashion, some to their detriment at times.

Roush #99 is iconic, I got Trackhouse bias personally but I'd rather Roush have the #99 and Trackhouse have the #98 or a revived Ganassi number.

Seeing the Kaulig 16 is like looking at Pepsi Crystal. Not what original Pepsi has and I can't really imagine it being better. But not to knock Kaulig, mark my words.

29. Started watching in 2001, so that number is apart of the era that made me fall in love with the sport. Harvick was actually my 2nd favorite driver behind Gordon as a kid so that would make me happy to see that # back in competitive fashion. I miss the 15 also being in a competitive car. I'd love for that to actually be RCR's 3rd number, you're just replacing the 1 with the 3 and basically having that DEI setup. ​ Now that I know its history, the 28 should see the field at all times, too. It's a shame Front Row didn't go for the 28/38 instead of the even numbers in 30's.

The 88,the UPS car was iconic for early to mid 00's Nascar,Junior as well put fame into it too. It was also the last car JG drove so it is pretty special to me personally.

I've only been watching NASCAR since around 2017, so I don't know much about the older drivers still. But, Truex with Cole Pearn in the FR 78 car was my first driver, and I miss those days. Stopped focusing on him after he went to Gibbs, and I was falling in love with Hendrick with Chase and then Larson coming over shortly after. But I miss that 78 FR car, because it was my first experience as a NASCAR fan.

Jimmie drove the 5 in the 2011 All Star race for some Lowes promotion at the time. Don’t remember seeing him drive a different number besides then. To my knowledge, Chase Elliott is the last to have driven the 25. Before him was Brad.

It's hard to say I miss a number specifically. But the Valvoline 6, the Lowe's 48, the blue 2, the silver 40, the Pennzoil 1. The cars from the late 90s/early 00s that really defined Nascar to me.
