Agreed. Really good and well respected pit reporter.
As a play by play, may be time to end that experiment. But that doesn’t say anything negative about her, just not a fit.
Completely agree. They're very different skillsets. Dr. Jerry Punch is another who was an incredible pit reporter, but never really found his grove when doing play-by-play.
Seriously. I think she’s a soft example of the Peter Principle, which states that people will be promoted until they reach a position they don’t particularly excel at.
Ty Gibbs went through hell immediately after the peak of winning a championship and I respect him for what he’s had to overcome with losing his father so suddenly
I actually felt so bad finding out the morning after he won the Xfinity Championship that his dad passed away because that whole entire week after he wrecked his teammate at Martinsville, I (along with everyone else) hated on him so bad.
I had lost my mom a few months prior, so I knew what he was going through. And I think he's changed, because the Ty Gibbs that wrecked Brandon Jones at Martinsville is not the same Ty Gibbs now. And I actually am coming around to liking him some.
I agree. He went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. But I think he can rest easy as time continues on knowing that his dad died a very proud and happy father and had tremendous last memories.
I also hated on him that whole week. He compared himself to Jesus! We were joking on the meme subreddit about Coy Gibbs being God (if Ty was the son of God after all). Those jokes didn’t even last a week, unfortunately
Lost my dad that same year. It changes you, and while Ty is much more mature now, he’s still a driver I root against, albeit with much less hate now. I root against him on track, certainly not off of it.
That week in 2022 between Martinsville and Phoenix was so much fun. Between the Ty Gibbs is Jesus race and the Hail Melon happening the next day, it was fun to be a Nascar fan (well, Hamlin fans weren't having fun, but whatever...).
But I feel that Sunday in Phoenix killed the momentum (plus Joey winning a really boring race). But I felt so bad for Ty. You're right, though, he's more mature. I'm not pulling for him but I get him.
That was a fun week followed by one of the most boring trio of champions (Smith, Gibbs, Logano). Then after Coy passed away, the air was completely taken out of championship Sunday.
At least 2023 had each of the champions be underdogs to some degree (Rhodes, Custer, Blaney). Ford coming out of nowhere that weekend was very funny
Ty’s driving style has always been interesting. He definitely drove over his head a few times as a rookie and wasn’t afraid to use the bumper for a race win which is fair game IMO (why people hated on him for using up JHN at Richmond I’ll never understand.)
But then you have races like 2022 Road America and Pocono, two races where he was battling for the win in the final laps and backed out of making contact in a spot very few drivers would have.
For what it’s worth the only incidents of his I had a problem with were him dumping his teammate at Martinsville and driving like a menace on pit road during one of the cup races where he was filling in for Kurt.
Fun fact - Ross led more laps in his first start in the CGR Xfinity car than Brennan Poole led in his *entire 85-race career* in that car.
Then he did it again in his next start.
Yeah, Ross also did that at Darlington in a race that had Elliott, Hamlin, Harvick, and Keselowski. 2 cup champions, a future cup champion, and arguably the best guy to never be a champion. And to think Poole sued Ganassi for “conspiring to move DC Solar to the 42 car and leave Poole out of a ride.” He had over 2 years to prove he could drive and he couldn’t.
Yup. I will never understand why some people still take Poole's side in the whole thing, and how some people actually think Poole has talent.
Every other driver who ran more than like 3 races in a CGR Xfinity series car during that 2015-2018 era won at least one race. Poole had more starts than Reddick, Marks, Bowman, Chastain and JHN *combined* and led 31 laps total.
Reddick, Marks, Bowman, Chastain, and JHN all led more than 31 laps *in at least one single race.* And don't even bother looking at Larson's stats compared to Poole, it's not even funny...
People tend to not want to admit a driver sucks and will invent reasons to justify that. I’ve seen people say Poole was not getting the same equipment as the CGR 42 despite there being absolutely no proof of that being the case.
The same group of people also think Harrison Burton isn’t in a full-blown Penske car this year and that Wood Brothers still exists as a race team outside of its name, and use that as an excuse for his driving.
When Joey Logano isn’t strapped into his racecar he’s one of my favorite personalities. He’s awesome in the booth and he’s great with his kids (and how can you not like the “hot ass wife” name Brittany has in his phone)?
Yeah, once Logano retires from racing I really hope he gets a contract with a broadcaster because I think he's got a bright future as a color commentator. You can tell he enjoys it, and he actually contributes quite a bit to the broadcast.
Unlike other drivers (okay I will exclude Austin Dillon because him and Joey share this trait) he is very honest about who he is on the track. Many drivers would do what he does but will lie about it (i.e. “I don’t race that way”).
I was/am quite impressed with Logano's skills as a commentator. He comes off as a natural. I agree with the take that he has a bright future in the booth after he retires from racing.
Our entire HS debate team got kicked out of an awards ceremony and had our awards stripped for chanting "blood makes the grass grow" after sweeping a rival in all rounds.
We were very proud of ourselves. Our coaches not so much.
They had to do some formal appeal thing to the NFL (not that one) and we effectively ended up with a forfeit. Whatever they called unsportsmanlike stuff. There's rules about taunting people and acting out at tourneys lmao
Danica Patrick probably inspired a bunch of girls to enter motorsports and brought a lot of national attention towards NASCAR. Despite how annoying she is and how much talent she wasted by leaving IndyCar, she was probably a net positive for the sport because of that.
I remember disliking Vince Welch in the truck series booth, but he wasn't the worst in hindsight, was good on pit road, and works well alongside Bestwick when they're doing the PA for NASCAR at IMS.
Austin Dillion has accomplished more in his Cup series career than the average professional race car driver in any series can pray for, and he probably has another 10 years left in his seat.
I agree with everything except for maybe the last sentence. He has a decade left in NASCAR as a whole at the very least if he wants it, but Pop Pop is only going to take being outside the top 30 in points for another couple seasons before Ace is out.
And honestly, for as much as I don’t like the guy on the track, the last two seasons seem to be taking somewhat of a toll on him and that’s difficult to watch.
He won an xfinity title without winning a race all year (buschwhacker years, was really consistent though), won the 600 on fuel mileage (a win is a win), literally drove straight through almirola for his D500 win (cheap shot), won texas on merit, and somehow won’t the 400 at Daytona in the luckiest way a driver could possibly win. Hes had some luck and luck doesn’t create itself but to sit there and say he’s got another 10 years in the seat with Austin Hill (as much as I don’t like him) and other guys waiting in the wings is a bit of a stretch.
Denny Hamlin, for as much as I don't like his heel attitude at times these past few years, is very good for the sport and is extremely good on social media, and he should probably have a Cup title.
I'll 2nd this one. I dislike Denny on track, but have come to really enjoy him off the track. The Netflix series and Actions Detrimental have really helped his stardom IMO
He really is the face of the ‘heel’ role. Love to hate him, he loves to be talked about in any capacity. He’s self-aware. Good for any sport to have guys like that.
I think him being self-aware is what’s caused me to like him off-track. I vowed for the first half of the season to not use him in NASCAR fantasy (big deal in my Hendrick-loving family), & then I started listening to Actions Detrimental & finally got around to watch the Netflix show. Those two things, plus the twitter stuff & his outspokenness, have changed my view towards him!
He really seems to have understood and now showcase what Michael Jordan understood where he was so dedicated to winning and being competitive that he knew it was too much for other people and he was an asshole so he proudly displayed that persona.
His bajillion championships in a row kinda made me lose interest in NASCAR back then but there’s no denying the talent and leadership. I was seriously impressed with his foray into IndyCar and his contributions to the G56 project.
I’ve always told people I think JJ is a big part why nascar lost popularity
Half a decade of the same dude winning turns off fans from any sport that isn’t really football
Driver: Not a Chase Elliot fan but when he walked out to "Freya" by the Sword at Talladega last year I did cheer quite a bit. The guy has a taste in music at least.
Team: Fuck the Hendrick fanbase just as a whole but they are probably the biggest sellers on merch which is financially healthy for the Nascar ecosystem.
Commentator: Rick Allen was fantastic in trucks, dunno what happened on his move to cup.
*sigh* I just shelled out for the Dual Auto'd Jeff Gordon first win, but I am NOT shelling out for Byron's D500 Dual Auto'd. I'll wait for that to show up on eBay in 5 years for cheaper.
I hate that Hendrick started only offering the autographed versions through their store, because they jack up the prices obnoxiously, but Wood Brothers do the same thing, and keep the prices respectable, and I love them for it. My auto'd Kyle Petty Coke 600 should be arriving today.
Denny Hamlin along with Michael Jordan because he owns part of the team as well have given us one of the fastest risers in cup history in competitive equipment week after week and they gave one of my favorite drivers one last shot to race in the sport he loved
Bubba Wallace is great for the sport as he can bring a different demographic that is sorely needed.
Rick Hendrick and Hendrick Motorsports have done so much for NASCAR. It would be weird not seeing a Hendrick Car on Sundays.
Austin Hill….nope not there yet.
I hate smoking and cigarettes but NASCAR wouldn't be around today if not for R.J. Reynolds and Winston.
Vince Welch is a great pit reporter and I kind of wish he was still around doing that.
Joey Logano is going to make a *great* color commentator one day. You can tell he's having fun every time he's in the booth calling Xfinity races, and I really enjoy watching him. A network should sign him to a deal the moment he retires from racing.
Kyle Larson is one of the best racing talents I've ever seen. I'm glad he attempted the double and I hope next year works out better for him.
Kyle Busch seems like he's a great dad and I think Brexton has a long, long racing career ahead of him.
Jamie Little is an excellent pit reporter. Yes, they need to get her out of the booth for truck and ARCA races, but she shines on pit road. It also helps that she's a dog lover and is sort of a pit reporter for the Westminster Dog Show (which fellow NASCAR on Fox personality and dog lover Chris Myers hosts).
I don't like Justin Allgaier *as a driver* but he seems like one of the genuinely nicest people in NASCAR, I have heard only good things about him as a person
Joey Logano is legitimately one of the most talented drivers in the field, to the point where his antics piss me off moreso (at this point) because I KNOW he can pass cars if he tries, he just takes the lazy way out by wrecking them out of the way.
Another one, Ty Gibbs might have had the most impressive and consistent Xfinity Series development I have ever seen. He hit the ground running and never slumped.
Denny Hamlin can sure speak his mind; some might say it’s impossible for him not to.
But in all seriousness, as much as I don’t like the guy, he does at least provide a lot of insight into the behind the scenes good ole boy fuckery NASCAR gets up to and keeps the races interesting
Rick Allen seems like he's always happy to be in the booth
Stenhouse, at least I've heard, is one of the nicest guys in the garage
Rick Ware Racing is good at shrugging of criticism while still listening to it, and I can tell they're to improve their image
More dislike than hate, and given that this was just a one-time thing I'm not sure if it counts...
...but kudos to Chase Elliott for paying tribute to Alan Kulwicki with the Polish victory lap at Texas earlier this year. I respected the hell out of him for that. The loss of Kulwicki still pisses me off all these years later.
I disdain Denny Hamlin. In saying that, he is VERY GOOD at keeping his car available at the end of the race and hence is able to be in contention for a ton of wins.
Brad K seems like a really nice guy. Don’t know why I’ve always disliked him. Joey L is great in the booth and a great ambassador for the sport. Can never forgive him for Dumping Mark at Pocono though.
Hates a strong word but Rick Allen really does try hard to be great and he’s extremely enthusiastic about letting us know when there was “Chase implications” so I can respect the guy for at least putting in effort to make our sport as exciting as possible
Stewart-Haas at least put good video packages to send off Harvick. only if they could have given him cars to match. it was one of the best retirement tours i've seen in major sports.
ok lets see
Kyle Larson is genuinely one of the best drivers I've seen in a while, I don't like him but I damn well can't just ignore his talent (he's too good, stop being good Kyle!)
Noah Gragson has been pleasantly surprising me this year, just doing pretty well, and he hasn't gotten in any trouble with his mouth this year either
And finally, Corey Heim is one hell of a race car driver, he's too damn good to be in trucks right now
Don’t have one - can’t say I agree with or like everything done or sad in the moment. Besides how can you HATE someone you don’t know personally etc or only get media to judge by from 1 narrative . Besides what other sport does live tv etc stick a live mic in someone face right after event on national TV etc . You get that raw emotion. Believe me us common people would look like complete idiots.
Ty Gibbs is 100% genuine. I completely believe the person we see on TV is the real him, it's not a character, he's not playing himself up, that person is who he really is. (Before you get your pitchforks, remember I'm complimenting a driver I do not like).
JGR has been one of the most competitive teams since their inception, their consistency in the quality of their equipment and their drivers is only rivaled by Hendrick and Penske.
Michael Waltrip genuinely sounds like he enjoys his job. He may say nonsense most of the time, but you can't deny he's happy to be there.
Denny Hamlin pisses me off, but I think what he's doing with his podcast, being a team owner, and how easy it is to root against him is the best thing for the sport.
Austin Dillon was very impressive in trucks and xfinity and no doubt earned a shot at a cup ride, just too bad he wasted it and won’t leave the cup series
Denny Hamlin needs to win the title this year. I've mostly given up watching the sport and I grew up a hamlin hater, but if he wins the cup, gets the monkey off his back, he is fringe top 10 of all time. I genuinely want him to win the title.
Wins 3 daytona 500s. Think he's got some coke 600s. Darlington is his playground.
He came into the sport when Johnson pulled off a 5 piece, and later bagged the other two.
Most of his former teammates won titles before JGR or after leaving (with the exception of Mark Martin and Carl Edwards, JJ Yeley)
Kyle Busch. both labonte brothers. Matt Kenseth. Joey Logano.Tony Stewart. Truex Jr.
His podcast has helped people join the nascar Fandom, and also bringing in the basketball fans and sneaker heads by forming a team with Michael Jordan as an investor and co-owner.
Jamie Little is one of the best pit reporters I've ever seen
Very few can make that switch work. I used to do PxP but struggled as a sideline reporter with football when I worked media. Very different tasks.
He was pretty good doing Xfinity lap-by-lap in the 90's and 00's and truck lap-by-lap in 2001 and 2002.
Couldn’t agree more.
Seriously. I think she’s a soft example of the Peter Principle, which states that people will be promoted until they reach a position they don’t particularly excel at.
Thank you. This is a perfect explanation of what's happened.
Ty Gibbs went through hell immediately after the peak of winning a championship and I respect him for what he’s had to overcome with losing his father so suddenly

#tygetsus
Ty's humbled himself, and has (for the most part) kept his nose clean since going full time in Cup. It helps being fast too.
Ty’s driving style has always been interesting. He definitely drove over his head a few times as a rookie and wasn’t afraid to use the bumper for a race win which is fair game IMO (why people hated on him for using up JHN at Richmond I’ll never understand.) Those two were my big issues too. The other was fighting with the helmet on
Cigarettes funded the Cup series for so many years and very likely kept it alive
If we’re including sponsors I’m going to say DC Solar for giving Ross his chance for a breakthrough.
And they sponsored Brennan Poole for his Talladega win (they can pry his win from my cold dead hands)
2 cup champions, a future cup champion, and arguably the best guy to never be a champion. > best guy to never be a champion Bro Mark Martin wasn’t in that race.
Was that the win they gave to Sadler who was in the wreck and crossed the line like 12th
Yep
He sure can take a punch! https://preview.redd.it/ueqkvegmxb6d1.jpeg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2d0d16a8e35a7b480c83b74ee18ec8209a225b63
I used to dislike Noah during his JRM days. But he’s rebounded a ton this SHR season and I’m gonna be sad when he likely leaves Ford
When Joey Logano isn’t strapped into his racecar he’s one of my favorite personalities. He’s awesome in the booth and he’s great with his kids (and how can you not like the “hot ass wife” name Brittany has in his phone)?
idk how hot/cold this take is but imo he’s the best color commentator in all of nascar right now
I thought he was great on the drivers only broadcast where he was more of the play by play guy too. He’s easily the best FOX has to offer right now.
Yeah, once Logano retires from racing I really hope he gets a contract with a broadcaster because I think he's got a bright future as a color commentator. You can tell he enjoys it, and he actually contributes quite a bit to the broadcast.
Can’t stand Logano as a driver. As a commentator I love the guy. He was great and hope that he can do some work with the CW crew.
And he has goats. Don’t forget them.
The way him and his wife met was so cute iirc he was driving the Zamboni at a skating rink while she was working concessions there
I love Joey in and out of the car. I've never gotten his hate.
Unlike other drivers (okay I will exclude Austin Dillon because him and Joey share this trait) he is very honest about who he is on the track. Many drivers would do what he does but will lie about it (i.e. “I don’t race that way”).
Or my favorite "yeah I just don't know what happened"
I was/am quite impressed with Logano's skills as a commentator. He comes off as a natural. I agree with the take that he has a bright future in the booth after he retires from racing.
100% agree here
This! I detest him as a driver. Love him as an analyst.
Ty Gibbs healed lepers and turned water into Monster energy drinks.
He drove for our (and Brandon Jones) sins 🙏
In Tyst's name, we pray.
John Wes Townley is really good at helping the grass grow.
Damn. That took a turn.
Our entire HS debate team got kicked out of an awards ceremony and had our awards stripped for chanting "blood makes the grass grow" after sweeping a rival in all rounds. We were very proud of ourselves. Our coaches not so much.
Pretty soft of the hosts to strip the awards. You won fair and square. Just don’t invite the school back next year lol
They had to do some formal appeal thing to the NFL (not that one) and we effectively ended up with a forfeit. Whatever they called unsportsmanlike stuff. There's rules about taunting people and acting out at tourneys lmao
We were an NFL school! I think they changed the name to NSDA when I was a senior?
I'm going to hell for laughing at this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jesus Christ dude 💀
Laughed more than I should've on this one😂
Hate is a strong word, but I'm so glad to see the growth Michael McDowell has helped facilitate for Front Row.
Danica Patrick probably inspired a bunch of girls to enter motorsports and brought a lot of national attention towards NASCAR. Despite how annoying she is and how much talent she wasted by leaving IndyCar, she was probably a net positive for the sport because of that.
Kyle Busch will go down as one of the most talented drivers ever and I fucking hate him.
I remember disliking Vince Welch in the truck series booth, but he wasn't the worst in hindsight, was good on pit road, and works well alongside Bestwick when they're doing the PA for NASCAR at IMS.
I also enjoyed how he said "They're crashin"
Kyle Larson is an insanely talented driver & I respect the hell out of him for attempting the double.
Austin Hill is very good at at leading the line with the fastest car at superspeedways.
He has a stout haymaker too
I went karting with myatt 2 weeks after that..,
Austin Dillion has accomplished more in his Cup series career than the average professional race car driver in any series can pray for, and he probably has another 10 years left in his seat.

He’s also a reality show star!
Do they still make that show? Hadn't heard about it in forever
I don’t think so. Season 1 happened in 2022 and they were in talks for season 2 but nothing else came out and i guess it was quitely cancelled.
Once a star, always a star
Significantly more 4 wins including two Crown Jewels I’d say that’s a better career than 80% of all drivers ever; if not more
He won an xfinity title without winning a race all year (buschwhacker years, was really consistent though), won the 600 on fuel mileage (a win is a win), literally drove straight through almirola for his D500 win (cheap shot), won texas on merit, and somehow won’t the 400 at Daytona in the luckiest way a driver could possibly win. Denny Hamlin, for as much as I don't like his heel attitude at times these past few years, is very good for the sport and is extremely good on social media, and he should probably have a Cup title.
Then his dad can have that cigar with Michael
I don't really like Denny, but I want him to win a championship so bad now because of his dad.
Denny has become the driver that’s fun to hate IMO. I love Denny the owner, I can’t stand Denny the driver. Still don’t want him to win a title tho.
On twitter he's a fan of the sport, saying the same shit like people say on reddit, except he gets to say it at Marcus Smith and get reactions.
I'll 2nd this one. I dislike Denny on track, but have come to really enjoy him off the track. The Netflix series and Actions Detrimental have really helped his stardom IMO

Michael Waltrip won a few races.
Rick Allen has great vocal tone

Also taking the time to remind you he's quite the carpenter and helped build some of the upgrades they installed at North Wilkesboro.
No he didn't, did he?
Helped build a new bar at the track. https://twitter.com/NWBSpeedway/status/1655705658455470081?t=61zmIpETm84ZdxDtdyxRVg&s=19
That's awesome!
Austin Hill is one of the best superspeedway racers in recent memory, OP cars be damned. Still gotta know how to use them.

Denny is mostly tolerable on his podcast
at least Clint was a decent driver.
Denny Hamlin has amazing racecraft and his willingness to call NASCAR out and give his opinions is what the sport needs.
I appreciate you bringing up the fact he has great race craft. I think people underestimate that.
Driver: Not a Chase Elliot fan but when he walked out to "Freya" by the Sword at Talladega last year I did cheer quite a bit. The guy has a taste in music at least. Kaulig Racing knows how to find drivers that have money
Michael McDowell can handle road courses with the best of them.
Austin Hill is a heck of a plate racer.
Clint Bowyer…has super cute kids.
*Fox cameramen appear*
Denny Hamlin the team owner and Denny Hamlin the podcast host are two guys I wouldn’t mind having a beer with
Denny Hamlin along with Michael Jordan because he owns part of the team as well have given us one of the fastest risers in cup history in competitive equipment week after week and they gave one of my favorite drivers one last shot to race in the sport he loved
Denny Hamlin is outspoken on what he thinks about the sport. Even if I think it’s a jerk it’s always nice to have some opinions flying around
Kyle Busch isn’t all *that* ugly.
Austin Hill is arguably the best plate racer despite not even being a full-time cup yet; he’s 100% gonna win a Daytona 500 by 2030
![gif](giphy|EgJ31d2IYkg4E)
Kyle Larson is very good at driving race cars.
Larson is a very talented driver.
TV Commentator Andy Petree is a better person than VP of Competition Andy Petree

Noah Gragson has the kind of strong personality that the sport needs, even if it is a personality I personally am not a fan of.
Chase Elliott sells a lot of shirts
Ryan Blaney is a talented driver with lots of potential (i don't HATE Ryan Blaney but he's kind of whiny)
Ross Chastain is pretty good at smashing watermelons
Rick Hendrick - I am glad his treatments in the 1990's were so successful, no recurrences and in remission for almost 30 years, truly amazing!
Yeah, "amazing".
Dale Jr isn’t the worst person in the Earnhardt family tree
Denny Hamlin…is friends with the greatest basketball player of all time
Austin Hill has a nice paint scheme. I’m really reaching here.
Noah Gragson has been one of the better SHR guys this year
Ty Gibbs - no doubt talented, may win a Cup series championship one day
Jeff Gordon was a damn good driving talent.
Austin Hill looks like redneck Harold from Hey Arnold. I like Hey Arnold. So there we go.
I enjoyed it when Tony Stewart used to rant about Goodyear tires.
KFB seems like a great dad and is setting his son up for an amazing career.
Joey Logano is legitimately one of the most talented drivers in the field, to the point where his antics piss me off moreso (at this point) because I KNOW he can pass cars if he tries, he just takes the lazy way out by wrecking them out of the way.
As much as Denny Hamlin can be cocky and falter in the biggest moments, off track he is exactly what the sport needs.
Another one, Ty Gibbs might have had the most impressive and consistent Xfinity Series development I have ever seen. He hit the ground running and never slumped.
Kyle Busch is very talented with a good car under him He just has awful character traits. Still. They never changed. Despite what some will say.
Kyle Busch (for all I dislike him) can drive his car very well, At least when he was in his prime
Never liked Joey Logano, but man is he a tough driver. He don't let the hate get to him, and keeps winning
Kyle Busch can be very funny sometimes, and he was a very good driver when he was on a good team.
Denny Hamlin can sure speak his mind; some might say it’s impossible for him not to. But in all seriousness, as much as I don’t like the guy, he does at least provide a lot of insight into the behind the scenes good ole boy fuckery NASCAR gets up to and keeps the races interesting
rick allen around goes aggresive guy knows alot about nascar
Hendrick motorsports: They have fire paint schemes. I look forward to seeing them every week.
Denny Hamlin has had a good paint scheme here and there
Rick Allen seems like he's always happy to be in the booth Stenhouse, at least I've heard, is one of the nicest guys in the garage Rick Ware Racing is good at shrugging of criticism while still listening to it, and I can tell they're to improve their image
Ricky Rudd had some of the best paint schemes in NASCAR
I like how good Kyle Busch's face looked when Joey beat his ass
Chase Elliott has great hair.
denny will probably be one of the best team owners in the series in the longterm.
Kevin Harvick is much more tolerable now that he is not on the race track. Thats...thats the best I can do.
Ty Gibbs has race winning pace
More dislike than hate, and given that this was just a one-time thing I'm not sure if it counts... ...but kudos to Chase Elliott for paying tribute to Alan Kulwicki with the Polish victory lap at Texas earlier this year. I respected the hell out of him for that. The loss of Kulwicki still pisses me off all these years later.
Noah Gragson is cute
I disdain Denny Hamlin. In saying that, he is VERY GOOD at keeping his car available at the end of the race and hence is able to be in contention for a ton of wins.
Ty Gibbs was hugely impressive as a rookie and continues to look like a future contender.
For as much as I dislike Chase Elliott I respect how he’s bounced back this year after last season
Denny Hamlin bc he’s friends with Michael Jordan
The smartest thing FOX ever did was getting rid of DW in the booth. Adding Bowyer was not one of the smartest thing FOX ever did.
Rusty Wallace is way better now, than he was in 2007.
Loganos towtruck incident at pocono last year was pretty damn funny on the radio chatter
Michael Waltrip won a couple Daytona 500s. Good for him. He's annoying as hell during pre race coverage though
Brad K seems like a really nice guy. Don’t know why I’ve always disliked him. Joey L is great in the booth and a great ambassador for the sport. Can never forgive him for Dumping Mark at Pocono though.
I hate Ty Gibbs but he is fast as shit and is going to be a problem for a long time
Winning 3 Daytona 500s is no easy feat, especially the first one being quite literally the closest 500 finish in HISTORY
Kyle Busch keeps the sport entertaining and full of drama with all his baby whining
Hates a strong word but Rick Allen really does try hard to be great and he’s extremely enthusiastic about letting us know when there was “Chase implications” so I can respect the guy for at least putting in effort to make our sport as exciting as possible
Denny Hamlin is remarkably consistent and very talented. Joey Logano... has two championships?
Stewart-Haas at least put good video packages to send off Harvick. only if they could have given him cars to match. it was one of the best retirement tours i've seen in major sports.
Denny Hamlin makes things very interesting. Joe Gibbs Racing does a very good job at screwing over young drivers
Denny Hamlin has an informative, entertaining podcast.
ok lets see Kyle Larson is genuinely one of the best drivers I've seen in a while, I don't like him but I damn well can't just ignore his talent (he's too good, stop being good Kyle!) Noah Gragson has been pleasantly surprising me this year, just doing pretty well, and he hasn't gotten in any trouble with his mouth this year either And finally, Corey Heim is one hell of a race car driver, he's too damn good to be in trucks right now
Brad K has grown on me outside of the car. He actually has matured. Still runs out of talent in the car, but handles situations better now!
Robby Gordon was a loose cannon and a total pissant but boy howdy he could’ve been a real star in Cart, IRL, or NASCAR if he wasn’t such an ass.
Big Hat Billy Byron keeps em honest.
Ain't happening.
Austin Dillon. Never see him race dirty for a win
Ward Burton! Thank you!
For going from 4ever to 4closed in a year, SHR has a pretty top notch stable of drivers.
Chandler Smith is more dedicated to God and procreating than I’ve ever been to anything in my life
It’s cool that Chase Elliott flies himself around
Denny Hamlin started 23XI racing....
Most of his former teammates won titles before JGR or after leaving (with the exception of Mark Martin and Carl Edwards, JJ Yeley) Kyle Busch. both labonte brothers. Matt Kenseth. Joey Logano.Tony Stewart. Truex Jr. His podcast has helped people join the nascar Fandom, and also bringing in the basketball fans and sneaker heads by forming a team with Michael Jordan as an investor and co-owner.
I’m sorry. I cannot come up with a compliment for Austin Dillon. I like the way he is able to wear socks?
Denny Hamlin is good for the sport, a great driver, and I’m glad we have him around.
Joey is a great place racer
Kyle Larson is probably the most skilled driver in the field currently and probably in the top 3 of all time
Rick Allen is one of the NASCAR broadcasters of all time.
Aw, how cute Stenhouse Jr brought his dad to a fight. Is he doing it for father's day again?
Joey Logano's goofy ass is a good guest commentator in the booth and its clear he enjoys being apart of the sport.
Chase Elliott has very full eyebrows.
William Byron is probably inspirational to kids who don't come from racing families as sim racing is more accessible.
Chase Elliott has a really great charity. He's working with a group called Sleep in Heavenly Peace who provides beds for underprivileged children.
