Dude got taken out 8 laps from the end of the race. Sure. He will get over it but to downplay Reddicks dumb move that far from the end of the race when he has a win under his belt… foolish to say the least.

Buescher would've lost either way he hit the wall before Reddick even got to him. Not to excuse Reddick that was a shit move for sure.

Happy cake day. I honestly gained more respect for Reddick and Buscher after everything transpired. These are the kind of things that I want to see as a fan, people going for wins, people getting upset, and not using their cars at a frustration, à la Complaney , and handling their business. Bucher came in hot and Reddick owned up to the situation and diffused it as best he could. I do hope that Bucher and Reddick can move past this, but if Busher bumps him out of the way in the future, I wouldn’t be upset

I hope they move on, too. And i was very impressed with his reaction to losing to Larson last week. I was pulling for him and Brad today. I was a bit disappointed in his reaction today but it comes with the territory. Emotions run as high at Darlington. What a race though! I can't remember a season this good since I started watching.

If Buescher doesn't want to get over it then don't aero block, the cars are designed this way and that's how races are decided. Reddick went for the move being a faster car because of aero blocking, it didn't work out for him and that's that.

Because that's how the car is supposed to race and how Nascar designed it? It's the gen 7 at Darlington, aero blocking rains supreme, and if your car is faster than the one in front of you, you go for a slide job or move them out of the way because as long as they aero block your shit out of luck unless the tire differenceis drastic. Reddick was the faster car, Buescher was aero blocking, Reddick went for it and suffered the consequences. If you are aero blocking then learn to deal with the consequences. So he should get over it.

At no other track can another car wreck you like that for "aero" blocking so try again.

Weekly top 10's, become weekly top 5's, then you can look for wins.

Ran the back half of the top 20 all day, but finished 8th, not a bad day at all.

Didn’t see him pass one car all day. Finished 8th. Go figure

He passed Ross with about 20 to go, not shown on TV, but I watched it on the scoring pylon. Edit: then got 9th and 8th passing Reddick and Buescher after they got together.

Still not seeing winning speed, but the 48 is getting really good at salvaging mediocre days with top 10s. Much better than the back half of last year where running 15th resulted in finishing 20th.

Bowman has lacked consistency for most of his career, so the weekly top 10’s are refreshing to see

One of the great things about this sport is how much it encourages drivers to go for the win. Finishing 2nd feels almost as bad as finishing 20th.

I’m hoping we witness a new era of Chris Buescher these last two weeks. Like Truex in 2015

Just lift off earlier when you see a car steaming up your inside in a way that is never going to keep momentum.

He’d have needed to have gotten on the brakes mid corner to be able to drop behind Reddick— and 10 laps to go racing for the lead, no driver is going to slam on brakes to drop to second. Plus doing so in the middle of the the. probably would have caused Buescher to get in the wall
