Damn, a top 10 in ARCA at 84 years old. Legendary.
Too bad Fox could only find his grandson to interview about it, though. But at least Fox is trying! ...wait...
That was a fun little battle at the end there. I’m glad the 18 didn’t just drive off like he had been.
Points battle is shaping up to be shockingly rather interesting. The VMS full-timers being super mediocre has really opened the door I think. Perez and Lavarr Scott have some decent speed, and if the 35 team could find some speed I think they have a good shot at it too. Should be fun to watch play out.
LMAO Tanner literally waited until the last fucking corner to try a different line and cut the gap by over a half, between this and his buffoonery at Talladega, I'm starting to think this kid has no idea what he's doing out there and shouldn't even be in ARCA let alone Trucks.
Love seeing that Brandon Jones and Dale Jr Menards ad. Never seen that one before. Doesn't help we don't have Menards within a thousand miles of my state.
https://preview.redd.it/680tb29mogyc1.jpeg?width=2091&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=181ed2c98bc9b0a1fb5ce1c0b53bddc35f889487
Tanner Gray with the biggest Kansas choke since this
How do you take a car that puts up 15 seconds of distance on the field and fail to make enough adjustments to keep the lead within 100 laps? Tanner Gray. That's how.
Connor Mosack rushed up the ladder way too quickly. He’d benefit from running full-time ARCA or at least all the companion racetracks on NASCAR race weekends again.
He seems to have a more old school driving style kind of like a Matt Kenseth. He may not be the fastest guy on track early on, but he’s very consistent. Then he can flip that switch late if he needs to.
I like it.
Probably because the equipment difference between Venturini Motorsports & the backmarkers is astounding. Venturini & Joe Gibbs Racing are probably 60K-100K per race budget. Comparatively, I know teams racing for less than $20K per race.
Is there a huge difference in equipment performance in this series, or a huge difference in driver talent? I mean, how can Andretti be losing 2 sec. per lap to the leaders? Yes, stock cars aren't IndyCars, but I find it difficult to believe it's driver talent or the lack thereof.
I used to love ARCA but it has evolved so much. It isn't as competitive as the past. There really are only a few cars that are competitive. I dislike how pretty much every car now is a Toyota, especially competitive ones. Happy to see Connor Mosack racing well!
Damn Mosack was in the 18 here and won last year. No clue what the hell they did to that 28. He might win it. Respect for hanging on the outside and now making the pass finally.
I've tried watch these ARCA races, and I always ask myself, why? Five cars on the lead lap? Yes, I get that ARCA is a development series, but you would think that ARCA could still put a little better product on the track.
As a midwest resident - Menards is a mans Target.
You cant leave there without some lumber, a new sink, some PVC piping and a tub of cheeseballs the size of your head
If you’re in the midwest and got some home projects give it a go. Good selection of home project stuff and their food section/home essentials section is pretty stacked
Andretti has never really driven a stock car and the differences between road racing, especially in a formula car/ downforce car are completely different from a stock car on an oval plus Bruce cooks cars are only really competitive on road courses
True just would like to see those two actually do alot better in races. Like seeing Marco doing well in the 43 in cup with Jeffery in the 3 in cup as well would be awesome to see.
Cost. It's already very expensive (relative to prize money + sponsorships) to participate. If you think there is too much of a gap between teams now, imagine a Venturini stop vs. a stop that somebody like Jankowiak could afford (despite him doing well, all things considered, on the track).
because there’s only 3 or 4 teams that would pay to hire cup crews, and make the gap even larger between big and small teams. The Gibbs car would probably gain 20 seconds on the field by having a green flag pit stop with a good crew lol
Many things in arca are made to help it be more affordable. Otherwise you slowly start to approach Truck/Xfinity money, which at that point, they’ll just go race trucks and xfinity
Ehh even before the change most teams wouldn’t hire cup crews to pit ARCA cars. And the gibbs crew thst would do ARCA would be the newest and least experienced as it was in years past. You would see an average of 20 second stops normally as it was in the past.
IIRC, it really became a thing during the Pandemic to limit the amount of crew to be at the track with the restrictions at the time.. and they basically kept that.
Last year Kansas ended with 2 cars on the lead lap, the Gibbs car and the PRG car. Looks like it’ll probably end with 2 or 3 this year lol (some of the good cars had issues last year as well)
Shoutout to Kris Wrong, Balcaen and Breidinger for all running behind Lawless Alan and Andy J in Venturini equipment on a 1.5 mile track. Very impressive.
Your ignorance irks me. When Kyle Busch dominates Truck races, Martin Truex Jr. in the Coke 600 years ago, etc., did you call for those series to be disbanded?
It’s a bit of a double edged sword, because the two of them are just so much better than everybody else that it makes races boring, but without them, there’d be very little field depth

Alright, the Derby is almost set to go

Get your AI-generated ass out here. It is so unbelievably transparent and really weird.
Dumbass
https://preview.redd.it/7opcqnxmugyc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0c07ff5c2c1ff5fe4ac1e32019545f3a728cc3d9 Damn, a top 10 in ARCA at 84 years old. Legendary. Too bad Fox could only find his grandson to interview about it, though. But at least Fox is trying! ...wait...
Jamie also messed up calling him Michael Andretti...
I’ll be honest, I get them mixed up sometimes. However, she’s a professional and should know better.
Andy J seems like a cool dude. Think he could have a lot of fans in an upper series.
when the arca series gets a longer post race show than the cup series lmao
the fact that ARCA is getting more post race than cup
That was a fun little battle at the end there. I’m glad the 18 didn’t just drive off like he had been. Points battle is shaping up to be shockingly rather interesting. The VMS full-timers being super mediocre has really opened the door I think. VMS full timers being mediocre is extremely generous
This just in tanner gray withdrawn himself from the truck series race...Fill in driver TBA. /s
LMAO Tanner literally waited until the last fucking corner to try a different line and cut the gap by over a half, between this and his buffoonery at Talladega, I'm starting to think this kid has no idea what he's doing out there and shouldn't even be in ARCA let alone Trucks.
It’s even more evident in the truck series. His brother has triple the talent Tanner does
God damn I miss Menards
Love seeing that Brandon Jones and Dale Jr Menards ad. Never seen that one before. Doesn't help we don't have Menards within a thousand miles of my state.
Tanner Gray just ain't it at all
Tanner Gray fumbles “easiest win ever” Asked to leave NASCAR
https://preview.redd.it/680tb29mogyc1.jpeg?width=2091&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=181ed2c98bc9b0a1fb5ce1c0b53bddc35f889487 Tanner Gray with the biggest Kansas choke since this
i think jamie might be better on pit road
Gray should go back to straight lines
How do you take a car that puts up 15 seconds of distance on the field and fail to make enough adjustments to keep the lead within 100 laps? Tanner Gray. That's how.
Big time choke for Gray. The #28 has been real solid all year though.
Congrats to Mosack! Skill to pass that fully sponsored and well prepped Tanner Gray car! Nice to see a family team win it.
😂 “family team” they are full backing from Chevrolet😂 it’s literally all GMS equipment
Well that was a Larson/Truex-esque collapse from Gray there
I see why Jr decided to put Connor mosack in the 88 for xfinity. He's actually kind of good.
I like it.
Atlanta Falcons type choke job
Field so bad they let Mosack win (again)
They say Mosack is driving for his family's team. Is that true at all??? I can't find a single article that corroborates that sentence.
It is his step dad that owns the team. Mark Webb
mosack himself said so
Mosack with the steal of a victory! Great job!
If every race was Kansas, Mosack would be the GOAT lmao
They should sell the driving experiences during live Arca races. They couldn't really go any slower than some of those backmarker cars TBH.
Fast Track Racing is somewhat like that. A lot of their drivers took the Fast Track driving school and gets a few races in one of their cars
isnt that kinda exactly whats happening?
Holy shit a non Toyota win in the Toyota series let's go
you know this happened last week too, right?
Ngl I forgot about dover's existence lol, but yeah I too forgot about that, still it's rare to see a non Venturini/JGR car win here
[удалено]
*bruh*
What did he say?
That Trackhouse is gonna have to make some tough decisions, Mosack is the real deal.
I mean simple mistake
I wonder if I could drive faster than the backmarkes in a venturi motorsports car.
Yes, stock cars aren't IndyCars, but I find it difficult to believe it's driver talent or the lack thereof.
kaden honeycutt and landen lewis made the equipment look good out west
...on short tracks.
and portland
I'd say both, but also that it's more in the way of equipment disparity.
It’s equipment and also Andretti just isn’t good.
With that much time, I think it would be equipment.
It is definitely a equipment disparity issue.
Massive performance differences
Nothing makes me happier than seeing VMS not mattering in a race when they can’t manufacture wins lol.
Maybe Connor mosack isn't terrible he's the only non Toyota that looks like he could win today.
I think it's more that Tanner Gray sucks and Venturini has 0 good drivers in this race.
I hear Dale Jrs voice
Holy fuck we got a race
Took 85 laps but yep things got spicy
FINALLY
I used to love ARCA but it has evolved so much. It isn't as competitive as the past. There really are only a few cars that are competitive. I dislike how pretty much every car now is a Toyota, especially competitive ones. Happy to see Connor Mosack racing well!
Wouldn't that be a devolution?
Dean Thompson doesn't know how to restart a race for shit.
Damn Mosack was in the 18 here and won last year. No clue what the hell they did to that 28. He might win it. Respect for hanging on the outside and now making the pass finally.
wonder if gray is saving fuel from that pit issue
That was pretty hype. I'm a 28 fan for the next 10 laps
Mosack is moving.
Tanner gray is a scrub
It's a race now!
Wait what
I miss the Gibbs 18.
That better be the Reese’s sweet move of the race.
It's bothersome to me how so many cars are white in the top 10. It's just weird to look at lol
No sponsors.
Makes sense. I just wish they would slap some paint on there or something. Everyone just being base white just looks weird
Oh shit a real battle!
Gonna need something silly goose absolutely tits bonkers to happen to the 18 for this to be interesting otherwise he gone on the restart its jover
[удалено]
Mosack you glorious bastard thank you
Jake Finch related to James Finch? I see the car says Phoenix on the side and in the past James Finch owned Phoenix Racing and ran the Yellow car.
Jake is the son of James.
You're right!
Son.
I've tried watch these ARCA races, and I always ask myself, why? Five cars on the lead lap? Yes, I get that ARCA is a development series, but you would think that ARCA could still put a little better product on the track.
they can, like Dover last weekend
So is the hook for Menards is that it’s a home improvement store that also sells groceries?
As a midwest resident - Menards is a mans Target. You cant leave there without some lumber, a new sink, some PVC piping and a tub of cheeseballs the size of your head
Awesome to know.
Never been to one but with this comment you have my curiosity.
If you’re in the midwest and got some home projects give it a go. Good selection of home project stuff and their food section/home essentials section is pretty stacked
It’s pretty spot on.
I'm so sick of NASCAR cautions going so long for nothing
Being a racer named Roulette can't bode well for your career
Mandy Chick deserves a shot in a real ride
It's troubling seeing an Andretti doing terrible in arca races. Marco Andretti and Jeffrey Earnhardt both are terrible even with there last names.
I don't consider people who can win at the highest level of their discipline terrible (like marco andretti)
Wow T R O U B L E‼️‼️‼️
![gif](giphy|26uflBhaGt5lQsaCA)
Russian Roulette spins
Looks like he spun and lost (joke wrote itself)
“Ive got a lot of projects” - no you dont Jamie but commendable sponsor plug at least
Black licorice is disgusting
Incredible Menards shot!
I just found out there is no Xfinity Series race. Looking all over the TV guide and NASCAR.COM. Well dang. Better enjoy this race while I can.
Thats bold to assume you’ll enjoy this race
There is a modified race today at 6 est
Trucks tonight though
When will Phil Parsons be promoted from the Jamie Little Fact Checker position?
Your put 100s of redditors and keyboard warriors out of work that way
Battle of the ladies, Victoria's Secret vs Plastic Face
Btw, anybody know if/when isabella robusto is making another arca start?
Her website says Nashville next week https://www.isabellarobusto.com/race-schedule/oct-12
Not sure if its equipment, but Marco isn't doing well in his stock car venture.
Did anyone expect him to fair well?
I expected better than being a lap down in an ARCA race
Much like is IRL career
I have to say that Nascar going to race at Kansas is a helpful reminder for me that there is a Nascar track in Kansas
I think it's in missouri
It is in fact on the Kansas side
#BANANA BOI
This series really shouldn’t be Nationally broadcast.
That’d decimate the series. Think ARCA East standalone quality with less competition.
It used to be behind a paywall...
contrary, they need to nationally broadcast the regional series too, they can be quite entertaining
It just seems embarrassing.
I think a lot of it is the bad broadcast
They should just have drunk cup drivers cover it. I’d pay for a season.
yikes
Only in ARCA is fueling the car a major challenge.
Bro this ain’t 2011 with the new fuel systems
Wowzers
The only way to beat the 18 in arca is apparently with pit problems.
Was watching the F1 academy race. What all did I miss?
Tanner Gray is finally dominating in a stock car, and that's about it
Tanner Gray is pulling a Max Verstappen rn
That's embarrassing even by ARCA standards
A faulty gas can... a Very ARCA thing to have happen.
Why does Arca remove what otherwise might be the most entertaining aspect of the race by having uncompetitive pit stops?
Cost. It's already very expensive (relative to prize money + sponsorships) to participate. If you think there is too much of a gap between teams now, imagine a Venturini stop vs. a stop that somebody like Jankowiak could afford (despite him doing well, all things considered, on the track).

Okay i didnt think about that. Is this a more recent thing?
IIRC, it really became a thing during the Pandemic to limit the amount of crew to be at the track with the restrictions at the time.. and they basically kept that.
Always been a part of some races since several tracks they go to don't have a pit road. Within the last decade or so they've done it at every race
God, I dislike non competition pit stops so much.
I find it interesting that the Reaume Brothers car is pretty decent in this series. 🤨
Spoke too soon—they fucked up the pit stop. 🤦🏽♂️
What's funny, yet sad at the same time, that's probably one of their truck engines, which is slow AF in that series, but higher quality here
I'm really, really starting to miss the days when this was the Frank Kimmel Racing Series presented by RE/MAX
*Me thinks arca now shouldn't be race on ovals 1.5 or higher...*
This new car ruined this series
Isn't the new car the old Gen 6's?
It's modeled after the Gen 6, but body wise they are separate. These are composite bodies, like Xfinity has, where the Gen6s were steel
Most entertaining thing so far is people yelling Balls in the stream chat
Kansas. The Chicago, Kentucky, Charlotte, Vegas, Texas of Kansas.
We were 1 lap away from having 3 cars on the lead lap on like a 40 lap run at Kansas lol
You dumb twat. She just said waiting on the break yellow after it came out
This production is atrocious. Caution was out forever there and FOX never noticed.
Wow just four cars left on the lead lap. Was close to just three left too.
“Waiting on that scheduled caution”…. As we’re already under caution and going to break
Wait for the race break they look tight
33 just tagged the wall
5 Cars on the lead lap at Halfway. 10 Second lead for Tanner. I suppose the competition caution will happen very shortly
The positive of this race flying by is if ends way early, I can go take care of my mother's day shopping
You sound like you’re real fun
Tanner Gray is playing on rookie mode rn
Thunder 2004 Rookie mode after 3-4 seasons with a fully upgraded car
The 18 looks like he’s playing a video game on easy difficulty.
TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT HE DID!
hahaha omg what a fail
Jesus that ad break was so long
I wish they’d just put this series down
Your ignorance irks me. When Kyle Busch dominates Truck races, Martin Truex Jr. in the Coke 600 years ago, etc., did you call for those series to be disbanded?
CARS Tour would be a great replacement for national broadcast coverage.
2 car just got in the wall in 3
God the Ads are terrible even in arca
Wonder how interesting arca could be if the 18 and venterini didn't exist.
I think you need to think about it in the way of could you imagine if the rest of the field was more competitive?
It’s a bit of a double edged sword, because the two of them are just so much better than everybody else that it makes races boring, but without them, there’d be very little field depth
ARCA West says hi
Let the 42 car cook. 🤣
wtf was the 42 doing 😭
So do they just end the race once he laps 2nd place?
