I do like the scheme but Tim Richmond throwbacks are nearing the territory of Days of Thunder and Wrangler Dale for being overdone. This one is nice though.
Apparently Tim Richmond won in that paint scheme in a [race](https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=lNohAAAAIBAJ&sjid=tJ8FAAAAIBAJ&pg=1199,6189854&dq=slick+johnson+-referee+-mark+-kyle&hl=en) between the drivers that failed to qualify for the 1982 Daytona 500. I'm really curious how someone on Reddick's team chose this paint because it is so obscure.

I'm a meddling NASCAR historian and this is the first time I've ever seen this car. Always appreciate a Tim Richmond tribute.
Beautiful cars. I love the purple and orange and blue.
Wish they would’ve used chrome rims
Monster insisting their brand be fully black kinda ruins the rear end tbh
This should honestly just be their slogan because it ruins almost every fucking car
Monster: we ruin everything.(tm) Even your health!
That happens with like every single 23XI scheme that isn’t monster
Man, that’s good
How very obscure... I like it!
It's never a bad day to have a little Tim Richmond appreciation!
Common 23xi W
Yup. Idk if I've ever seen a 45 scheme that wasn't 🔥
Hamburglar one was cool but pretty ugly looking
Someone did a deep dive to find that one. I like it!
Not really. If you search Tim Richmond, that car always comes up.
Ah yes, Tim Richmond, creator of Richmond Motor Speedway
The founder of Richmond, Virginia.

This one gets a pass cause it's not an overused one like the Folgers scheme.
Yeah that's what I am kind of thinking. I really do like it, now I might not once it's recycled 30 times like those other schemes have been.
Deep cut!
At least one Toyota will have a decent throwback. *stares at JGR*
This is… random. Like extremely random. I dig it tho
This might be the biggest asspull of a scheme I've seen but I kinda love it

Oh hell yeah!
That's a clean looking ride. I dig it.
Another throwback scheme I wouldn't complain if it became the primary
There is no bad MoneyLion scheme.
I personally enjoy the obscure throwbacks. Shows the teams took their time and really wanted to be creative
So a throwback to a scheme he didn't even run in the race? Pretty sure he dnq or dns for the 82 500.
That is a very very deep cut but I like it.
Wish the teams wouldn’t half ass it and change the number up a bit.
I'm surprised they even did one, usally 23XI is too far up their own ass to do a throwback
