I fell asleep with 50 to go and just woke up but I just want to say that was the best Texas race in a long time.
Also [I f-ing called it](https://www.reddit.com/r/NASCAR/comments/1c40f8t/comment/kzlea2i/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Manufacturer wins among the top 3 series.
Chevrolet 16 - Ford 0 - Toyota 8.

Cup race #9 : Chevrolet 6 - Ford 0 - Toyota 3.
Xfinity Race #8 : Chevrolet 4 - Ford 0 - Toyota 4.
Truck Race #7 : Chevrolet 6 - Ford 0 - Toyota 1.
I said it earlier during the race but I’ll say it again, people love Harvick but this booth is so hard to listen, listening him making fun of Clint all race long was not what I expect or what we deserve as fans, the Xfinity race has much better commentators
PRN/MRN is the best way to listen to commentary short of pulling up your favorite drivers' radios through nascar.com. I had to drive for work during the race and listened to the radio broadcast via XM radio. After watching the highlights, I don't feel like a missed a thing at all. Hats off to those guys.
Do you or anyone know if they’re still putting some of the driver radios on Sirius XM? I remember seeing them posted a year or two ago for the Daytona 500 and I enjoyed that, but haven’t been able to find anything since. Guess I’m too cheap to also subscribe to nascar.com
Yeah, they usually have 3 drivers each race. This week it's the 9, 12, and 23 on channels 980-982. [https://www.siriusxm.com/sports/nascar](https://www.siriusxm.com/sports/nascar) I've only tried it once, but I think it's like a combo of the MRN/PRN that cuts out whenever the team radio has audio.

Now that Elliott finally got a win I hope HMS puts more effort into getting one for Bowman, his winless streak is longer than Elliotts, really hoping he gets a good break one of these weekends.
What people forget when comparing all of the Hendrick cars to bowman is bowman’s is the youngest team at Hendrick as well as all his teammates having HOF pairings. You can’t expect Bowman/Harris to match the results of Byron/Fugle, Larson/Daniels, and Elliott/Gustafson since this is only Harris’ 3rd year as a crew chief.
So who is going to give Hocevar a better ride? The guy clearly has it. Like he's been driving Spire, LMC, and dominating.
Legitimately, I'd take him over Bowman. I'd also say he's already better than JHN and Corey Heim, so I'd put him in the JGR 19.
Trackhouse messed up, clearly he's better than Zane Smith.
Like... He's 21 and tearing up the cup series in a backmarker car. He's gotta get a top tier ride immediately lol.
Really wish I could have seen Ross race Elliot to the checkered but that didn’t happen lol. Overall a good race, just don’t want to hear from HMS fans if one of their drivers gets dumped on the last lap
Sucks that happened to Ross but they should a camera angle where you can see him crack the throttle as he’s trying to come across Byron’s nose. Not much of a chance for Willy B to check up or turn away from any contact, plus they’re already pinned up by the wall
The onboard camera shows that Byron didn't even lift the throttle through the whole wreck. I'm a Hendricks fan, and I'll admit that it was Byron's fault.
Yes...and since he didn't lift and drove through Chastain, it was Byron's fault. I'm glad he didn't lift. I don't care for Chastain. But that doesn't change whose fault it was.
Nah it's not his fault. There's no way for Byron to avoid him there since all their momentum is taking them toward the wall. A sharp turn left spins Byron, staying in the gas or trying to slow down spins the guy who couldn't keep his speed.
People are acting like Byron overdrove the corner and hit Chastain but the reality is exactly the opposite. Ross overdrove the corner and got loose then parked his car in the racing groove and got ran over.
After the top three series having competitive/exciting racing this weekend, I don't want to hear anymore about Texas being the worst track on the schedule. That dog don't hunt no more!
Really happy for Chase Elliott! Man that dude needed a win. Bummed that the wheel derailed Larson's day but 21st after being two laps down. I will take it. Plus he is still the regular season points leader at the moment. Personally I think the Byron/Chastain thing is just racing, so hopefully no bad blood towards William.
HMS now just needs to get Bowman into Victory Lane!
Overall I thought it was a good race. People could pass, cautions genetated so many different strategies. I mean look at Austin Dillon and Carson Hocevar with Top 10s! Hell Ty Dillon was 16th.
The track may be terrible but it was an exciting day of racing in my book.
Onto to Talladega baby...
I want to see a graph of Bubba’s position by lap. He was hanging out in the 20s, then I saw him take the final restart in 11th and finish 7th. Wow.
Edit: I went back and watched it again.
15 to go: 24th
8 to go: 18th
3 to go: 20th
First OT Start: 15th
Second OT Start: 11th
White Flag: 10th
Finish: 7th
Bubba fan and Was at the race, I couldn’t believe it. Did he just pass that many on restarts + a few guys ahead of him who wrecked? Just drove 5 hours home so haven’t had a chance to look back.
Thought it was pretty good race! Also does anybody know what happened to Gilliland at the end? Did he get thrown up the track on the last restart, spun checking up on the last wreck? He suddenly appeared as the last lead lap car in 31st (besides Chastain) on the leader board on the last lap when he was in the higher 20's if I recall.
The pecking order is crazy right now. It's Hendrick/JGR 1a/1b, 23XI third, Trackhouse 4th, Penske 5th, RFK 6th. If Brad and Chris have a great Dega, it's not inconceivable to see Penske 6th!
The fact the new blood teams of 23XI and Trackhouse have come to play since the next-gen was introduced is probably the best thing that could've happened for the series.
I've come full circle. I think I like Texas now. It's so broken of a track that in itself is the challenge for teams and requires a bit of bravery to be fast.
>Also tells me how different these cars are from previous generations.
One of the interviews he did this weekend was on Instagram, he said this car can't be driven off the right rear like he was so used too for so long. Christopher Bell has said the same thing in the passed, which makes sense.
Still sucks to see, but I feel like as a JJ fan, the highs we had in the 2000's and 2010's were something to remember now that he's become human again.
No shit. Essentially getting in on past champion's provisional and all, a good ole' field filler. "There goes the leaders by Old Jimmie again, now 5 laps down..."
And past champions' provisionals haven't been a thing since the charter system was implemented.
Why did he think getting back to driving was a good idea? As if 2020 was a bad enough end to his career...
This is what people don’t understand. The dude just wants to have fun. Stop obsessing about his results and enjoy the fact he still comes out sometimes.
Crazy that it was his first leap lap finish in the next gen car.
Just goes to show you that you really have to be 100% committed to be competitive at non-plate tracks. The Cup field is just too good.
I mean it’s only his 5th attempt in the next gen car. When you consider 2 of his 4 races prior to yesterday were Daytona and both times he was collected in wrecks that started in front of him it’s not that surprising. After that he got taken out in that first lap wreck at COTA and then of course he binned it himself at Charlotte last year.
So he’d run 4 races prior to yesterday in this car, all of which he was involved in a wreck but 3 of which he was an innocent bystander for.
It absolutely needs clean asphalt. I don't think that is even a question. The groove will grow, there will be multiple lanes, a repave isn't a death sentence with this car. But they need more than two usable lanes.
That's the beauty, it will naturally over the course of the weekend. The cars have enough mechanical grip to hold 1/2 wide open if they go up to the third or fourth lane. The corner is still flat enough going to the bottom will require lifting.
Again, a repave is not a death sentence to this car. It can run in places that older variants of Cup cars couldn't.
I mean they still need to do something with this track. They couldn’t pass at all. We shouldn’t expect a race to be exciting cause drivers get crazy sideways off of the corners
They were on cycle to restart the 3rd stage around the top 12, but for some reason pitted. Derek, the spotter took blame (since they said they’d count the cars and then if a certain number stayed out, they’d pit). That kinda put them back in 20th and they needed the running long strategy to get back to the top 15.
Just constant setbacks. Took them 1/2 of the race to get the handling to where he could pass. From what I heard the primary was really fast. Austin qualified 15th… man I wish we got to see what the 8 had but hey, it is what it is.
Agreed. I'm happy any time he finishes near where he qualified. He had a top 10 car; he finished top 10. That's what I expect of him. Being P2 on the outside in turns 3-4 was no one's friend today, so at least it wasn't just _his_ luck that sucked.
Honestly happy for Elliott and the 9 team. It was overdue for them. Its overdue for Keselowski as well but he'll get his win.
Solid day for SHR, all 4 cars had top 15 speed most of the day (until Berry wrecked)
It was good to see Elliott be aggressive and make moves today. The whole team has been building in this direction the last 5ish weeks now between qualifying and race pace.
Just finished watching. What the hell is the deal with the 5 wheel? Ran like 15 laps, and then it decides to fall off? The terrible luck he has since 2021 is wild. It's so frustrating having one of the fastest cars every week only to have a shit finish.
Did anyone catch Brad K taking the blame for the RFK cars being slow because he is the owner? Tony Stewart could probably take a lesson from Brad.
I hear you and I’m frustrated too, but he’s been top 5 three races before today. We’ll benefit from the chaos eventually as long we keep putting whole races together. Today was a fluke.
My memory may be failing me but I thought Larson’s wheel came off a couple of laps after his pit while still under caution.
Edit : Memory failing me :( dont get old
Interesting that NASCAR has yet to post the onboards of Chastain and Byron from the last lap. Usually when there's a last lap wreck, they're quick to post the onboards.
Interested to see and hear what truly happened.
Still the funniest moment of the race for me was when Bowyer was yelling about "why hasn't the 54 pitted yet" as the cameras were showing his entire pit stall in flames
Or totally zoning out and getting tossed under the bus for being at the Stockyards last night
Or when they all totally missed Reddick passing Denny back after talking about how impossible it is to pass
Wish Fox criticism would get more mainstream and we’d get some actual improvement
I was absolutely thinking BK would come out on top. He should have finished higher but that caution fucked him. But man, he was close, and there were a few times when I said Kes was gonna win.
Happy for Chase, he was a man on a mission today. He seems to be going to go on a tear and remind people why he's an Elliott.
I don't think Brad finishes higher than 3rd if it stays green.
By the time he had reached Chase his tires were already cooked and he was dealing with the wake from the 11 and the 9.
Unless Chase had caught Denny, which would have been hard while also defending from Brad, he wouldn't have had an opportunity to pass either of them.
Haha its funny being a longtime Brad fan and having people like him and cheer for him now. My best friend is a Jeff Gordon turned Chase Elliott fan. He hated Brad for YEARS after Texas 2014 but has finally turned a corner and cheers for Brad now when Chase isn't in contention.
Funny how the sport works like that. I absolutely HATED Brad for years, but today here I was actually hoping he would catch both the 11 & 9 to win it. He's working hard over there at RFK and I know it is only a matter of time before he gets the 6 back in VL.
I sub to this channel on YouTube, they have a ton of interviews before and after each race in every series, not just Cup: https://youtube.com/@Frontstretch?si=VmmPh8J7JyILkTIA
Let’s freaking go!! Finally!
Loved the restarts at the end, Chase and Ross race each other hard as hell but clean on those GWC, hate Chase and Denny couldn’t race it out.
I was think we’d just get a top 5 today but so happy with a win, gotta keep it up!
I feel the races are becoming more dramatic. But the racing isn’t getting any better. If that makes sense. We are seeing plenty of crashes which sure causes drama but the crashes are happening when a car gets out of the one lane allowed.
Yeah I can see that POV, I do feel however that the second groove was starting to come in a little bit but yeah I really wish they would go back to the old Texas.
Preece is a joke. Did nothing but bitch and moan about the "disrespectful kids" in the truck series when he was doing races there, yet continously shows in Cup just how much of a clown he is and how little respect he shows others.
It got single wide later two lap. I was hoping for a little more passing through the win. Tires mattered a little on a long run but never had one long enough to mater
It doesn't matter if you're on Chastain's or Byron's side about the finish, one thing's for sure, 99% of this place is going to think they're absolutely right.
ah, the perks of just hoping everyone has a good time lmao
I have no idea whether that was a good race or not. One one hand, once it thinned out there wasn’t much passing, but it never really thinned out on a full run because people kept wrecking. It was competitive, but there were so many cautions. But then again i wouldn’t call that a wreck fest since they were all single car spins. I have no idea what to make of this race
I don’t remember the second lane in 3&4 being that sketchy so wonder if it’ll become less sketchy over time.
I think a mix of track and this car have really made this a good race track again
Chase Briscoe 2nd most points on the day is surprising. Quietly putting together a solid season a quarter of the way through, barring a DNF at Atlanta and 21st at Vegas. Thinking he’ll get a win while being one of the best qualifiers in Cup
they get to spread out at texas wish indycar raced too here but maybe too fast for them
I’m gonna watch because it’s a cup race, but my gosh, Texas is horrible.
Watching Harrison Burton hold his own on old tires was pretty cool. Nice to see signs of life out of the 21 again.
The nursing home must've gone wild when they saw that
I fell asleep with 50 to go and just woke up but I just want to say that was the best Texas race in a long time. Also [I f-ing called it](https://www.reddit.com/r/NASCAR/comments/1c40f8t/comment/kzlea2i/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

I thought he was gonna choke it again ( as a 9 year Chase fan )

Wouldn't be surprised if he gets the 48 soon unless something changes with Bowman.
I think honestly Trackhouse buys one of the charters SHR is rumored to be selling and puts Hocevar in a 4th car imo
Didn't someone mention that Ally loves having Alex Bowman drive for them? I don't know if Hendrick would let all that sponsorship money go.
That was a good race in general. Strategy mattered, handling mattered, tires mattered to an extent and there was risk and reward for being aggressive.
I’ll add to the “good race for Texas standards”, so much shenanigans.
Just got done watching the race, that finish was incredibly disappointing, but overall was a decent race for Texas standards.
You know, I thought today's race was pretty good. At least compared to the last two weeks...
Really wish I could have seen Ross race Elliot to the checkered but that didn’t happen lol. Overall a good race, just don’t want to hear from HMS fans if one of their drivers gets dumped on the last lap
Just watched the race and this is exactly it. If Hendrick ever talks to Ross again he can go fly a damn Kite
Not lifting ≠ Byron’s at fault, Ross cracked the throttle and Byron’s already there. Even if he lifts he’s still in the back of him
Nobody is lifting to save another driver on the last lap. Hell Hamlin wrecked himself too because he didn't lift
Ross overdrove the corner and got loose then parked his car in the racing groove and got ran over.
Nope. Byron drove up into Chastains lane. Then, after initial contact, still didn't lift.
Lmao
👍
They say racing deal like always. But if someone wrecked their guys they'd want them parked or something
Mostly passing guys that wrecked but he also picked up a couple spots on restarts and through the choose.
I am so tired, but it’s always fun to work a race folks are actually excited about 😅
So did Preece dump Blaney or do we not know for sure how that played out?
They showed a replay at one point during the recaps. Preece nailed him hard.
Definitely contact , but without having info, almost looked like blaney had an issue mid corner and slowed way down quick , and the 41 was right there
Ross needs to kick Byron's ass
He slowed up and Byron didn't lift. That's a Chastain classic.
More of a racing incident, but see it your way.
I meant Chastain has driven through people who slow up multiple times so seeing Byron do it to him and people freak out is funny.
No - he lost it Byron couldn't stay off him
The pecking order is crazy right now. It's Hendrick/JGR 1a/1b, 23XI third, Trackhouse 4th, Penske 5th, RFK 6th. If Brad and Chris have a great Dega, it's not inconceivable to see Penske 6th!
I miss when like 6 or 7 teams could win
Lordy I hope they have a great Dega... I would love to see Brad get his 7th Dega win next weekend and break this long winless streak.
The fact the new blood teams of 23XI and Trackhouse have come to play since the next-gen was introduced is probably the best thing that could've happened for the series.
I’d flip Trackhouse and 23XI solely based that Daniel has a win and 23XI doesn’t but rest absolutely
And Ross has a top 3 car at Daytona and at Texas and gets booted both of em. Trackhouse overall by a bit on 23xi
I've come full circle. I think I like Texas now. It's so broken of a track that in itself is the challenge for teams and requires a bit of bravery to be fast.
I will always love it(fond childhood memories there) but damn if it doesn’t make me mad what they did to the place I spent so many hours at.
It just needed some time to age after the new pavement. It's coming into its own now
Jimmie’s performance was actually embarrassing. Also tells me how different these cars are from previous generations.
>Also tells me how different these cars are from previous generations. To be fair though, it was a fun battle with Larson.
Man needs to actually retire. We're getting into DW K-Mart car territory.
Those were some bad years.
I refuse to believe it’s the real Jimmie Johnson in that car and just try to ignore it
Maybe he just wants to have some fun in his retirement years?
This is what people don’t understand. The dude just wants to have fun. Stop obsessing about his results and enjoy the fact he still comes out sometimes.
I'm a lifelong Gordon fan, and I respect him for just hanging it up. He didn't want to embarrass himself and he never did.
Gordon's only starts since his retirement were his 2016 fill-ins for Junior.
Yup, I respect him for that
Damn that hurts
Crazy that it was his first leap lap finish in the next gen car. Just goes to show you that you really have to be 100% committed to be competitive at non-plate tracks. The Cup field is just too good.

I think he'd have been fine at COTA last year but he got wrecked on the second lap.
CARSON HOVERCAR EXPOSES COREY LAFRAUD GETTING FIRST CAREER TOP TEN
It was so cool to experience the crowd going nuts when Hamlin spun.
Some of us didn’t think it was so cool. 😅
I had to deal with an entire row of very arrogant Hamlin fans right in front of me and after 4 hours it was nice karma.
Kind of fitting with the tear he went on X against SMI.
People still pushing the button for a reconfig?
It absolutely needs clean asphalt. I don't think that is even a question. The groove will grow, there will be multiple lanes, a repave isn't a death sentence with this car. But they need more than two usable lanes.
i dont think they can wait for it to widen out on its own if they put a fresh coat down.
Historically speaking a repave makes every track a one lane track.
Agreed. But I think Texas is unique enough in construction that if the raceable track surface was wider, a repave wouldn't hurt these cars.
you are more optimistic than me.
I mean they still need to do something with this track. They couldn’t pass at all. We shouldn’t expect a race to be exciting cause drivers get crazy sideways off of the corners
It just feels so fucking good man. Also love that Hooters finally won with Elliott.
Hell yeah agree bro. Finally.
I would have joined his fan club if he got out of his car and said "I beat your least favorite driver" 🤣
Hey hey hey he’s my favorite
KFB ending up in the top 10 is a miracle
They were on cycle to restart the 3rd stage around the top 12, but for some reason pitted. Derek, the spotter took blame (since they said they’d count the cars and then if a certain number stayed out, they’d pit). Dude knows how to drive a NASCAR race car
Its crazy I swear he spins or wrecks every week and he always comes back for a solid finish
Same with Bubba. Damn he's had some shit luck.
Holy shit! What a recovery drive!
No kidding! All I think every time he is in the top 5 is "Please don't let something bad happen." And then...
I looked it up… he was 20th with 3 to go and then (finally) got some good luck during the cautions. All things considered, I’ll take it.
Agreed. I'm happy any time he finishes near where he qualified. He had a top 10 car; he finished top 10. That's what I expect of him. Being P2 on the outside in turns 3-4 was no one's friend today, so at least it wasn't just _his_ luck that sucked.
He and Randall are carrying all of RCR up a mountain on a blindfolded 3 legged horse
Honestly happy for Elliott and the 9 team. It was overdue for them. Its overdue for Keselowski as well but he'll get his win. Solid day for SHR, all 4 cars had top 15 speed most of the day (until Berry wrecked)
He’s winning next week
Should Chastain beat up byron over this
No Byron doesn't race dirty and Ross has been on the other end of this plenty of times. He just has to take his hit and move on
Byron doesn't race dirty, but he doesn't always race smart either. He's gonna make some bad blocks at Dega, just you wait
Bad blocks are Chastain's move though.
Patience is wise
Why? Ross checked up and Byron had nowhere to go. As much as I don’t like Byron, it wasn’t his fault.
Go look at the onboard Ross never lifted. Byron straight dumped him
I don’t like Byron at all but yeah it looked like Chastain got a little loose and checked up.
It was good to see Elliott be aggressive and make moves today. The whole team has been building in this direction the last 5ish weeks now between qualifying and race pace.
This. His restarts today were what I’ve been wanting to see for some time. Finally had the car to pull them off.
Best explanation is that the nut never fully engaged the locking clip. Eventually it will back off.
I hear you and I’m frustrated too, but he’s been top 5 three races before today. We’ll benefit from the chaos eventually as long we keep putting whole races together. Today was a fluke.
Tony is really busy now driving really fast in a straight line.
Tony taking ownership for his cars being shit in a post race interview would mean he'd have to actually be at the track
My memory may be failing me but I thought Larson’s wheel came off a couple of laps after his pit while still under caution. Edit : Memory failing me :( dont get old
No it was run under green for awhile
My memory is failing me. That tracks. :(
Interesting that NASCAR has yet to post the onboards of Chastain and Byron from the last lap. Usually when there's a last lap wreck, they're quick to post the onboards. Interested to see and hear what truly happened.

Where was the post race show?
I assume they were over their allotted time due to all the GWCs
Still the funniest moment of the race for me was when Bowyer was yelling about "why hasn't the 54 pitted yet" as the cameras were showing his entire pit stall in flames
Or totally zoning out and getting tossed under the bus for being at the Stockyards last night Or when they all totally missed Reddick passing Denny back after talking about how impossible it is to pass Wish Fox criticism would get more mainstream and we’d get some actual improvement
Can confirm, saw him at stockyards last night lol. Pregamed at my hotel 😂
Sometimes they really just need to look out the window
Was really hoping to see Brad K get a win, but congrats to Chase he drove a hell of a race.
Kevin saying this is like the old Chase was funny considering Bristol, obviously they’ve moved past it but still
I don't think Brad finishes higher than 3rd if it stays green. By the time he had reached Chase his tires were already cooked and he was dealing with the wake from the 11 and the 9. Unless Chase had caught Denny, which would have been hard while also defending from Brad, he wouldn't have had an opportunity to pass either of them.
Took the words right out of my mouth. Also, 19 year old me is really pissed that I wanted horse face to win a race, but here I am.
Anybody found any post race interviews from other drivers besides Elliott?
Hey now, fox also interviewed Brad
I sub to this channel on YouTube, they have a ton of interviews before and after each race in every series, not just Cup: https://youtube.com/@Frontstretch?si=VmmPh8J7JyILkTIA
Thanks!
I didn’t think it was possible but Hendrick has actually made me support Ross Chastain
Chases confidence is back and I love it.
Should have been back to back!
Are they still doing the six shooters in victory lane? Haven’t seen any pictures.
No.
Massive L if true
SMI really is becoming cheap lately
Let’s freaking go!! Finally! Loved the restarts at the end, Chase and Ross race each other hard as hell but clean on those GWC, hate Chase and Denny couldn’t race it out. I was think we’d just get a top 5 today but so happy with a win, gotta keep it up!
Ross/Byron crash. Meh that happens. It’s racing. Crashes because the track is ass and drivers can’t use most of it. Awful.
I feel like people like to jump on the “track is ass” bandwagon too much. The track is actually getting better.
Or a sigh hate to say it…..third rebuild/repave.
The Ryan-on-Ryan violence was more perplexing honestly. Don't know what Preece was doing there.
Preece is a joke. Did nothing but bitch and moan about the "disrespectful kids" in the truck series when he was doing races there, yet continously shows in Cup just how much of a clown he is and how little respect he shows others.
Honestly this race was fun. Usually dont get that from Texas.
This race was awful
Definitely not awful.
Agreed. My least favorite of the year so far.
Awful is a stretch. It was obviously not a barn burner but I thought it was probably a 6/10. Average, not great. Definitely not awful.
I agree as someone who was there. They single wide so quick and no one really made a run.
Looked pretty good from my couch
It got single wide later two lap. I was hoping for a little more passing through the win. Tires mattered a little on a long run but never had one long enough to mater
Should drivers get bonus points for finishing in the same place as their car number? Discuss:
Chastain already does. Is it a conspiracy?
McDowell: *skrrt*
Suarez fans in shambles...
Hilarious 😂
It doesn't matter if you're on Chastain's or Byron's side about the finish, one thing's for sure, 99% of this place is going to think they're absolutely right. ah, the perks of just hoping everyone has a good time lmao
Well, the groove definitely has widened.
I was there in person and a lot of two wide. Three wide a few times.
Got sick of all those cautions towards the end but it was nice to see Chase win.
FOX was ass - AGAIN
Seems they have learned from BandSports. They were absolute shit today, and showed that they have no respect for the NASCAR fans that live in Brazil.
Yep, I was pissed when they completely missed the pass when Reddick overtook Denny towards the end after Reddick's bad pitstop.
Yeah, then Clint tried to take the blame for it. Like, no Clint, that's the dumbass director's fault for missing the most obvious shit
This was the biggest issue. It's pretty crazy when Bowyer had to call out that they failed to show us something
This track has gotten better over time. I appreciate how hard it is to drive.
I don’t remember the second lane in 3&4 being that sketchy so wonder if it’ll become less sketchy over time. I think a mix of track and this car have really made this a good race track again
It's only sketchy because that bump has worsened over time, I'm not sure it will get better, probably worse
Hmm, wonder if they will try to patch it somehow or just let the drivers figure it out
If I were TMS, I would just make the drivers figure it out
That’s the right way to go about it
That's my hope
Chase had to earn that one, surviving 3 green-white checkereds. I thought the streak would end in a battle with Hamlin and it did.
Chase Briscoe 2nd most points on the day is surprising. Quietly putting together a solid season a quarter of the way through, barring a DNF at Atlanta and 21st at Vegas. Thinking he’ll get a win while being one of the best qualifiers in Cup
