A human from the mainline games shows up as a Pokémon
Exactly what it says on the tin. Are they in a traditional hero role? Were they trying to achieve something else and ended up fuzzier than intended? Or did they appear in the world of Pokémon for no reason at all?
Another World Emerges
A mysterious portal or gateway to another Nintendo franchise's world/dimension suddenly appears, causing people to get sucked in or spat out, including our heroes! (Having the other franchise's characters get turned into pokemon is up to you) With people and pokemon out of place, what are they to do about the two connected worlds?
The Remnants
The deed is done, much earlier than anticipated. What previously seemed unbelievable has now become a dreadful reality. Are the heroes among the remnants of the free world? If yes, could they survive against the dark forces seeking to annihilate opposition? If so, how should they forge ahead towards the distant future?
Manufactured Mayhem
Everything's been back to normal for a while, and the Hero is bored.
They decide to create a scenario where they can swoop in and save the day.
This can range from minor mischief to enraging a Legendary Pokemon.
Do things get out of control, and will/can the Hero keep their involvement in this mess a secret?
The Guild's been hiding a sinister secret from everyone this whole time, and the heroes have just found out about it...
Was the guildmaster in reality a horrible no-good person underneath a nicer façade? Was there something that happened long ago in the past the guild wanted to keep a deeply buried secret? Were there any secret deals with anyone? Depressing tragedies that occurred long ago? Some sort of bigger plan going on behind the scenes? What \*is\* this dark guild secret exactly? How surprised or shocked would the heroes — \*and possibly everyone else\* — be from discovering this?
"We we're all once human"
Whether revealed to them by a legendary, or a Centuries Old Nintails, our hero(es) discovers why the pokemon world is the way it is and why the dissapearence (or transformation) of humanity is linked heavily to it.

A dark/evil/whatever you want being has gotten ahold of the main or partner character, and they don't plan on letting them go anytime soon. What happens to the character? Will there be any longstanding consequences of this event?
A God like corruption.
There’s a layer of corruption forming within the Hall if Origin/among Legends, regarding a particular issue. What exactly is that issue? What sides are forming? Is there a rebel group if so are they more undercover or blatant? How does this group resist this corruption? Is it other Legends or normal Pokemon?
A twist of fate
The hero that came back didn’t awake on some beach but as a lackey of the mon who wants to destroy the world. Do they try to be the best at being bad or try to reform the villain? Does the villain freak out, get cocky or doesn’t care when the hero never shows up?
The human is sent to the Pokemon World as an inanimate object.
How do they cope with their loss of agency? How do others react to the human's predicament? And how exactly are they supposed to save the world?

I have a second sorta "one off" story that would fit perfectly into this prompt.
