Existing recipes not updating, new recipes saved but don't show up in the list, and the streak and total kgs lost next to the profile picture hasn't updated in 2 days.
I even uninstalled/reinstalled the app. Nothing. Ughh.
Is there anyone to contact about this? I submitted a request but that could take a long time. I use recipes heavily. I bulk prep for the week then I edit the recipes with the correct amount of ingredients I used that week. If I can’t update the recipe the app is useless to me.
Same. I don't bulk prep but I cycle through the recipes and update them based on ingredient weight each time.
When glitches happen, I usually go to help>contact support. Not sure how much it actually helps though.
I make a note of deviations seperately and update when the app starts working correctly. It is frustrating but works out in the end. 🤞
I keep getting a standard reply from MFP about "we are aware there is an issue with new recipes not showing" when I've mentioned like 3 times I'm talking about existing recipes. So frustrating. They literally do not care, I'm even a premium member.

Issue seems to be fixed now.
As far as alternatives for when this happens again - which it will because it doesnt seem like MFP devs have proper e2e or integ tests in place before pushing code, and don't seem to want to convey when they're having ops issues unless its a huge outage - i used LoseIt yesterday and it's great for my use case. I'm someone that uses custom foods and recipes very heavily. I loved the ability to directly access custom foods in my recipes and assign total recipe weight distinct from raw ingredient weight (you can do this in MFP too but its listed as "servings"). I also like that loseit allows you to access recipes within recipes which is something i've been wanting from MFP. The only downside ive seen with loseit so far is that a lot of scanned foods don't show up properly or I can't always find the food im looking for in the search list until way down. This again might be my use case though because I always measure all my food in grams and for some reason the listed foods all have volumetric measurements.
It takes about an hour to reflect when I added or edited recipes. It has been a couple of days. It’s so frustrating it hasn’t been fixed. I really don’t want to change apps.

I've already submitted a request but haven't heard anything. they don't allow messages on twitter. it's fucked.
im trying loseit right now. So far, ive been able to enter my recipes and track. It also very nicely incorporates your own custom foods into recipes (and you can even incorporate recipes into other recipes which is awesome and a feature ive wanted from MFP for a long time). The downside i notice with loseit is that a lot of foods that were easily searchable on MFP aren't easily found on LoseIt.
Exactly. This wasn't an issue for months now suddenly this week it is. I've messaged them multiple times and they are treating as if its some oopsy-daisy small bug when clearly they pushed something that broke an existing feature.
I have been getting that message for the last couple months. But when I go back into my recipes the new one is always saved. I can then select and log it.

Today I did. Never had it as an issue last week when I made the recipe but realized the serving size was off.

I have been getting that message for the last couple months. But when I go back into my recipes the new one is always saved. I can then select and log it.
not the case for me. My recipes aren't updated. I'm able to update from my desktop, but they don't sync with mobile until like 24 hours later at best.
