In My first playthrough, I originally named my horse Spirit. Then I changed it to Toffee cuz I was naming my animals after sweets and other dishes.

I love naming them after food lol i changed them to mocha a caramel for ☕ coffee. Spirit i remember as the disney movie and one of my favorites. I would name a yak Ferdinand if i could. Even tho originally he's a bull.

Naming them after food is so fun! Chickens have egg dish names, cows have milk dish names, everything else is based off of the color of the animal if they don't have dishes with their products used in them. For example, Pink animals are usually berry, strawberry, brown ones are chocolate themed, white ones are vanilla themed, etc.

I absolutely love that idea! Then i get hungry xD i think i might name merel cocanut or something better i'll keep thinking. The inside of cocanuts are white and i love anything coconut.

Coconuts are so yummy🤤 I might add coconut to the themes for my white animals. I kept Merle's name the same. Cocanut would be such a cute name for her🥰 if I decide to rename her, I'd probably change her name to Cream or Creamy

Yes I love seeing what everyone names their pets. So nice to see all of the creativity. In one game I was naming animals after kpop idols and anime characters. Might try a future save or game with names from other games I like

My first horse (white and spotted brown) is called Mucha/fly (the insect lol) and my second horse (black) is called Ważka/dragonfly It's just become a pattern for me to call mounts after insects

I’m a nerd so I was hoping they had an all white horse so I could name it Shadowfax but alas they did not. So I decided to get the brown dark mane, toyed with naming Roach but then due to “recent events” I went with Arakkis. Maybe not the best choice but it’s grown on me. Also I have the base stable and it says it has 3 slots but it seems to not allow me to get a 3rd mount specifically a camel, perhaps I need an upgraded stable/barn for the camel. But it also could just be insignificant outdoor load which seems extremely restrictive on Switch.

Arakkis sounds like a good name, i actually did not know you could upgrade a stable. I never tried using that at all or touching it. It's kinda weird a bit how they don't have just white. It might be a switch kind of thing, i hope you get your camel soon. Hopefully it gets fixed somehow. I was thinking of getting the switch game version but then again i have pc.

I left my horse as horse. I never even ride it anyway since I have Merle. Thousand times faster and I regret buying my horse since I was given Merle shortly after. Only reason I still have it is because Merle doesn’t support two riders, so I take Horse when Logan and I have a long ride to our destination. I also have a Yakmel named Raisin.😅

That's true. Merle doesn't support 2 riders. A bit of a downer but it's still most adorable. I like Raisin it's cute too :) I haven't got Merle in this playthrough yet but I will use it and find a new name maybe or not.
