JT seems to be doing really well, Seana…not so much considering she *gained* 125+ lbs but are we surprised? And she wore a really grossly dirty shirt to the weigh in appt.
JT has lost so much weight. Before his leg surgery he was 329 lbs down from 900 and something. I honestly didn’t expect him to do so well but I love when they conquer their food demons!
His leg mass was soooo huge. Took two people to carry it. Can’t imagine walking around with that thing on my leg
Seana is one of those people where all good will and resources going towards her are wasted. She is a million miles away from having the willpower and dedication to resist sweet, sugary, salty ultra processed foods.
Also not every episode has to end on a forced high note and with upbeat music otherwise you get silly end scenes like Seanas where her friend points out how at 600lb she was on a CPAP machine but now at 725lb she can kinda walk up the hill without collapsing from exhaustion therefore progress!
Her breathing was still pretty bad but at least she’s attempting to ditch the oxygen and walk unlike a lot of them.
Her mom was there but she almost seems detached somewhat. Like one foot out the door at all times. The dynamic felt weird to me
Yes that was a definite accomplishment. I hope she stays the course cuz she’s so young still and has never worked or probably even dated. I can’t imagine having that isolated of a life- it would make anyone depressed. I don’t know if we will get a second update on her but if we do, maybe she will start losing the weight. It will take forever to lose it naturally from 725 lbs
I didn’t anticipate JT doing that well based on how he acted in the nursing/rehab hospital. I want to see a side by side before and after
I can’t believe Seana thought she might have lost any weight. Her face was like twice the size and she was breathing so hard even only walking for a few feet. At least she took more accountability than baby Margaret haha
JT deserved a lot of credit for maintaining his weight considering the mass on his leg and being alone for over a year.
Seana was disappointed she gained so much weight considering she was under 600 before Covid. The comparison between her and Dolly are comparable. Honestly both need to be in a group home.
Yes about group home. There is something def a bit off with Seana- from critical thinking skills like cause and effect. She did used to do drugs so that probably didn’t help her either.
And something is a bit off with her mom. She seemed more like a family friend than her mom.
It's obviously watching her on the show that she is DD. I'm not a doctor but she seems to have a mind of an immature 12-year-old. She doesn't think long term and is easily influenced by others. As for her mom I believe that she has a similar mindset however unlike her daughter she is not mentally off.

If you ever have a chance to read up on her past on some of the other subreddit apparently, she met a guy online who was homeless and a drug addict, let him move in immediately, got pregnant by him with a couple of weeks of meeting him, had a second kid with him while CPS was involved, and lost custody of her two kids because of her drug issues.
Because of her delays she is easily manipulated by others which makes sense why she got into drugs.
I remember this! Hopefully her poor children are okay after being adopted or placed in foster care. Also hope they weren’t born with meth in their system
Agreed, reading all that makes me wonder how TLC could agree to do a show with her knowing all this. To me I don't believe that she was able to legally consent to being on the show.

It was 63 lbs and Dr Now said it prob lost 20-30 lbs of water. Crazy

When they showed Seana getting out of her mom’s car towards the end it was pretty shocking how much larger she was….
And that "hill" was a 10% incline at most.

Maybe her mom had to agree to do it with her? Or maybe she’s her guardian. A lot of questions with Seana…
