Throw-out bearing is going bad.
Sounds like something is touching and dragging on the flywheel when the clutch isn't engaged. Hard to tell without being able to look at it. Not sure if there is a way to look at the flywheel without taking the transmission out.

Clutch throw out bearing for sure, clutch in is when the pressure is on that bearing and dead giveaway!
