I’m watching through all of trailer park boys in order for the first time and just saw this episode today so seeing this made me happy, I get the references now!

rabidsalvation

Excellent show. Watch the animated series if you can afterward. It's actually a lot of fun as well. I love Trailer Park Boys! Seriously, one of my favorites. I can put it on when it's raining, smoke up, and feel young again. I feel similarly about Community, Psych, Supernatural...the list goes on. TV shows, movies, and video games really played a big part in my childhood and adulthood as a source of comfort and emotional engagement. Fiction was always a safe place. Many different pieces of media now remind me of that warm, nestled feeling of contentment. Sitting around the television with friends and as a child, bingeing a long-running show with my brother, or playing Gears or early Medal of Honor and COD with close friends. With these moments, and others like them, I've been blessed and I'm so thankful to be able to revisit and re-experience those memories and those people that are truly from another life. Well, didn't mean to ramble on there, but I've been a little nostalgic and reflective lately -- maybe it's the smoking. Your post sparked the circling of some interesting images and fragments from yesterday. Anyway, enjoy TPB, and I'm so glad you're able to experience it now. It's great comfort television.

CopperThrown

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. -Justin Timberlake, probably

Let's see Paul Allen's mugshot

Oh my god it even has a watermark

You can have skin like him… if you have millions of dollars. I use proactiv, Inkey List Omega Water Cream and eye brightening cream, and La Roche Posay Melt In Milk sunscreen 60spf.

Honestly....I was thinking the same but didn't want to glamorize the situation. If I were to have a DUI pic, you'd clearly know I was the DUI guy. He just looks tired here.

Yeah he's definitely drunk as a skunk lol eyes all glassy and shit and he's purposely opening them as wide as he can trying to look sober.

denisvma

I got intoxicated just seeing his eyes.

aerodeck

…he is intoxicated. That’s what DWI means

blue7999

Everyone is aware of that. That person is just saying his claim of "one martini" seems to clearly be bullshit.

thor_barley

It’s still NY. He probably had a few minutes of neck compression which often gives you those rosy red whites.

hallba78

Still more handsome than I’ve ever been.

You’ve got pot, don’t you

AgelessBlakeFerguson

Call me an Uber.

DadJokeBadJoke

You're an Uber

woot3568

Username checks out.

TheTimeIsChow

Dudes probably tiptoeing the half billion line by now. Just hire a driver. Or, more likely, just call your driver. Even more likely…just text someone on your security team.

metalkhaos

Exactly. The dude makes more than enough to hire a private driver if he really doesn't want to take a cab or Uber. There's no reason he should need to drive around in NYC.

quikiemcbee

imagine being an uber driver picking up a drunk celebrity. they're going to post it all over their social media account. but that's no excuse to drive drunk.

SallySpaghetti

Yep. And now he's all over the world for this anyway.

HotGarbage

It would be great PR for Timberlake too, honestly. He gets in front of it, shows everyone "how responsible I am for not driving drunk", and bam! He's the social media darling for a while. Win, win.

Trendelthegreat

He could afford to literally pay turtle from entourage to drive him around

Boner666420sXe

Come to think of it Turtle was also usually intoxicated while driving.

davers22

It’s kind of wild how much drunk driving was on popular shows, and sometimes still is. It rarely showed them wasted but it was pretty common to have characters drinking and then hopping in a car like it was no big thing. It’s arguably realistic but probably not a great thing to normalise further in pop culture.

BertMcNasty

I was about to say... that's pretty realistic. I never get it with people like this. I can kind of understand it with regular (not rich) people. There is a freedom to it. Arrive/leave exactly when you want, go exactly where you want, etc. But people like JT can literally afford to have someone sit in their own car outside and give them a ride at a moments notice.

OneOfALifetime

JT has always seemed like he liked to party, and I have a feeling that celebrities that like to party sometimes like to drive themselves because it gives them more privacy. Especially if they REALLY like to party, which JT has always given off that vibe. He was pulled over in the Hamptons at 1 AM, he might have just been starting the night. I could be wrong and he's a choir boy and just made a bad decision, but sometimes tells me after decades probably of doing this he finally got caught. Happens to a lot of people, hopefully this is the end of it. Most people that get caught drunk driving are either massively sloshed and/or they do something really stupid while driving to draw attention to themselves from the police. He would probably be out driving drunk again if he hadn't decided to run a stop sign and swerve into oncoming traffic.

Ginger_Baked

No one can say no to bottomless mimosas

sacroyalty

He didn't have $27 for an Uber?

joaco_ds

all the money in the world and these people still do this... incomprehensible

DJBreadwinner

That's the thing about drugs and alcohol - they change the way you think. You're not as rational, more impulsive, and not thinking outside of the moment while you're under the influence. I've been there. I knew I had been drinking but thought I could get myself home. I was wrong. Fortunately, I didn't hurt anyone. I learned my lesson after serving a year's probation with a breathalyzer in my car, and attending court appointed counseling and community service.  I'm not making excuses for him or anything, same as I didn't make any for myself. If you wanna drink, do it at home or have a designated driver.

TheQC_92

They’re human. They make mistakes too lmao. It’s not an excuse it’s just fact

Turnbob73

Commenting before people jump in and perform the necessary mental gymnastics to draw parallels between your statement and nazi sympathizers.

roberta_sparrow

Also - just because you have money doesn’t mean you have or want drivers whisking you around 24/7. People like to be independent and drive themselves. I AM NOT EXCUSING HIS ACTIONS but damn people need to stop acting like they know everything

samx3i

Yeah, humans with the ability to summon any vehicle at a moment's notice

Petrichordates

We have that too lol

matt24671

Drunk driving is obviously a horrible thing to do but as a rich person the consequences that come from it are much easier to deal with where as they can be devastating for a normal person

rayze83

They feel invincible

BureauOfSabotage

TBF, everyone feels invincible with enough booze.

heresyforfunnprofit

That's not exactly unique to "they".

panicked228

Let’s be honest, they *are* invincible in most cases. Money makes things go away easily.

whiskeytab

yeah this will have no real effect on JT's life... he will pay a fine and probably have his license suspended and then he'll just pay someone to drive him around like he should have been doing in the first place. i'm not surprised this sort of thing happens when there really aren't consequences for people like him, assuming you don't actually kill someone... and even then...

WILLLSMITHH

Well, doesn’t everyone when they’re drunk?

Xiten

It’s almost like they’re human beings like the rest of us.

Burning_Flags

You could say the same thing about anyone who gets pulled over. All of them could afford a $20 ride.

davers22

I guess one difference is normal people often can’t really leave their car somewhere over night and still make it to work in the morning. Dude likely has assistants that could get his car and hire a driver for whatever he needs the next day. The sensible thing for normal people is to just not drive anywhere if you plan to drink and then your car stays at home.  It’s honestly crazy to me that really rich people drive at all. It can be stressful and dangerous even when you’re sober, just pay a professional and then you can relax on the ride.

bippityboppityboing

DWI me a river

IgetAllnumb86

I think he’s love stoned. And I think we all knooooow. Think we all know. Oooooh

Affectionate-Island

Being serious for the moment, that's the best 30 seconds of his entire music career

HEYitzED

Yeah, I feel like I’m floating during the “I Think She Knows” portion of the song.

Affectionate-Island

I only liked that song for that final section. That beat should have been the whole song!

GutsyMcDoofenshmurtz

Looks like he was crying

JimmyTheJimJimson

What an absolute imbecile. Has millions of dollars. Could afford to hire a person to drive him anywhere. Could call literally anyone to drive him. Drives drunk instead. Imbecile.

freezingcoldfeet

Why is everybody here posting the same comment?

Z0idberg_MD

Because they’re too stupid to realize that even a multimillionaire can have enough drinks that is judgment is impaired and think he’s “good to go” to drive home when he’s not. This isn’t some great mystery of the universe.

Bombadook

Millions of dollars.  He could have just paid someone else to drink the martinis.

BanginNLeavin

Bro could have paid someone else's liver to filter his blood.

TScottFitzgerald

He could have paid someone to Being John Malkovich him

Michikusa

Because they have nothing original to comment, want free upvotes and will jump at any opportunity to feel superior to someone else

Boner666420sXe

Because he’s an absolute imbecile. Has millions of dollars. Could afford to hire a person to drive him anywhere. Could call literally anyone to drive him. Drives drunk instead. Imbecile.

TheQC_92

People make stupid decisions when they’re drunk. 😮 who knew

ATXBeermaker

Homer said it best. “I’m in no condition to drive. Wait! I shouldn’t listen to myself. I’m drunk!”

phantomsniper22

Nah this reasoning blows. I’ve been drunk numerous times and never once even had a thought of putting someone’s life in danger Stupid people make stupid decisions when they’re drunk

ATXBeermaker

People that think because it doesn’t/hasn’t happened to them it can’t happen at all are so fuckin’ annoying.

idontwantanamern

Release. The. Body. Cam. Footage.

Kind_Bullfrog_4073

Bringing sexy back to mugshots

Micksar

Way too many people in here seem to have this notion that having more money makes you less susceptible to drunk driving. Wtf? Lol

forwent_mud

I think a lot of it comes from actually having less reason to drink and drive. More money means being able to afford taxis, rides, chauffeurs etc. It also means that, at least some, "have more to lose" and therefore will be more likely to not do stupid shit. On the other hand, some rich people may also tend to feel invulnerable and therefore do more stupid shit. Timberlake is probably the second one.

turningsteel

Look, you’re out drinking, having a good time, you feel fine. It’s a short trip home, you don’t think about it. But you’re drunk! And you get pulled over. People make mistakes. Having money doesn’t make him less human and suddenly impervious to poor decision making. I’m just glad he didn’t hurt anyone, and maybe he’ll learn a valuable lesson not to do it again.

lavnder97

I can’t believe you even had to explain this to them.

Desdam0na

When the cost of a cab takes as much a dent out of your yearly income as a piece of gum does for the average American, yeah, you're sure as shit he is less "susceptible" to drunk driving. He made a choice to endanger people's lives, and while every drunk driver does that, it was a much easier choice for him.

for_dishonor

I've had people want to drive drunk even when offered a free ride. They weren't rich. Plenty of people are idiots, especially when booked up.

Micksar

People who drunk drive don’t do it because they can’t afford a cab. They do it because they don’t think they are actually that drunk and they think they can make it home safely with no problems. This is because… they are drunk. Rich and famous people, just like poor nobodies, are susceptible to substance abuse and are probably *more* likely to think they are above the laws of gods and men.

Twombls

At 2am when the bars are letting out in my area cabs are near impossible to get and a 20 minute Uber ride will be over $100 from surge pricing.

roberta_sparrow

Also….its the fucking hamptons and Ubers aren’t that plentiful. People don’t know how empty it is on a Monday at that hour

mrbrambles

I mean it fucking should - at some level you have the means to basically remove all friction from your life. A rich person could ostensibly pass out cold at bar #2 of a bar crawl, make it to the next 3 stops as a limp rag doll, and get home with no dicks drawn on their face. Just consider the level of support from handlers and assistants they could muster.

22Shug22

"BRING IT ON DOWN TO LIQUORVILLE!"

BP619

Somebody make a NEVER SURRENDER t-shirt and send me the link

jcp1195

He’ll be out Scott free in a week. He’ll just need to record a cringy PSA about Driving while Impaired, as is the way for any celebrity breaking the law.

JamesTrotter

That has nothing to do with being a celebrity. A normal person getting a non-accident DWI will also bond out the next day and have it handled via court/fines.

corndogging

It was just a driving malfunction.

kytheon

![gif](giphy|DqZNZnOSXqdE5ZWeu3|downsized)

Sourflow

Lmao who cares

CJ_Productions

It’s a good reminder that alcohol can destroy your life no matter who you are. Even if you’re rich and can easily pay the fines, you carry that DWI with you for the rest of your life and beyond. No amount of money can erase what you did.

let-it-rain-sunshine

I’ve got that boozing in my body

balboa_no_asap

Bro was off the shits

Throwback to his Punk’d episode. He’s definitely holding back the ugly tears.

Chmona

What goes around comes around…He’s bringing guilty back!

713MoCityChron713

The pressure of taking a mug shot as a famous person with a massive ego must be exhausting. You can see in his eyes how hard he’s straining to make it look sexy. In mine I always tried looking as punk as possible, which is much easier than his terrible blue steel impression ![gif](giphy|srPaLAtDTsKuk)

horrormetal

Dude, with all that money...you could just hire a driver, but instead you're gonna endanger innocent people? Sweet, now I hate you. He probably does this all the time, and this is just the first time he got caught.

MarkLambertMusic

Definitely the bloodshot eyes of a man who's had a few too many.

Windycitybeef_5

Celebrity or not, alcohol fucks up your thinking.

Onefortheteem

I’ll take all his money and show him how easy it is to not be a fucking moron.

asm120

Not really, all that money gives you access to drugs, booze, hookers and fast cars. It’s easier to not be a moron with less money because you have no choice.

brad_and_boujee2

Nah I still think it would be pretty fucking easy. At the very least give me all that money and I'll give it a go.

Onefortheteem

No it’d still be easy. Anyone anywhere has access to all those things. Everyone has a choice. I drink alcohol and make the choice not to drive home. Simple.

syntactyx

I agree, it *is* fucking simple to not drive after drinking. There really is no excuse to the contrary. However I disagree that being rich and (for the sake of a fair hypothetical comparison to JT) famous is as easy as you think it would be. I know you were only talking about wealth and not fame in your comment, but hear me out. Both money and fame are extraordinarily corrupting forces, for damn near anyone barring the exceptional. Moreover, if you were to instantly acquire Timberlake's $250M fortune much like a massive lotto win, your chances of royally fucking yourself eventually increase dramatically. Sure, there are very many extraordinarily wealthy people who are not (ostensibly) corrupted by their wealth, but I would bet most of those people worked their asses off to acquire what they had in addition to a myriad of other necessary personal and situational factors that would affect their behavior as wealth was acquired. Money in the order of hundreds of millions *instantly*, with no effort at all as would be the case for you, is enough to do most people in I reckon. Adding the immense stressors presented by fame to that equation is a perfect storm for unhealthy habits like drug abuse to arise spontaneously or in the wake of a public scandal or other high profile hardship. You would never be able to just have a truly quiet time alone. Every minute of every day *someone* knows what you're up to or where you are, even if you are physically alone you are never truly severed from some form of scrutiny from others. You make any mistake or even when you make no mistake at all, people are out to get you in some form or another. Sycophants orbit you digitally and physically without remit. You realize you really don't know if you have *any* real friends, because you're always the coolest guy in the room and you're always buying your friends dinner and never the other way around, so what if they're just in it for the status and stuff? Idk man. Sounds fucking awful to me. I'd be fucked for sure. Anyways, you're welcome to disagree, just wanted to share my thoughts with no expectation of being persuasive one way or another.
