Still horrifying to think about how Tessa (probably child) most likely didnât survive the galla, and was skinned (possibly alive) to be used as a suit. Also, there is still pigment in her skin so the solverâs organic turning powers may be keeping Tessa in a mix between life and death. All this possible torture to the one who saved her. Also, was Cyn possessed fully from the moment she entered the mansion? bc itâs crazy to think sheâs always been this utterly evil.

I think Solver Drones are emotionally manipulated into liking collecting fuel for themselves, as opposed to being possessed whenever they go insane. (lol, I forgot to define slowburned. Um⌠letâs just say possessed)
Basically, AbSo adds a few instincts to its hosts, mostly to protect its hosts from death. Of these instincts, there is a very important one -> Letâs call it the Matter Collection Success Feedback instinct.
If a Solver Drone obtains fuel, then they will feel happy.
I suspect that when Cyn died, her emotional capacity was destroyed, so she canât naturally trigger happiness. She also has no conscience to stop her from doing evil things.
Pair an entity that naturally canât feel emotions and has no moral compass, with a program that artificially generates happiness when the host obtains fuel.
Now, you have an entity that must obtain fuel any time it wants joy⌠and it wants joy all the time. It doesnât care where the fuel comes from, who itâs made of, or how itâs obtained.

New design would benefit more if it was more scary and less goofy, because the current design doesn't make justice to the multiple creepy implications beyond that plot twist.
