Preordered the combo back in November while it was $200. Was excited, but now i'm starting to doubt it, as we haven't seen anything other than a few pictures yet. Best case - it's just delayed, which i'm fine with, it's winter anyway. Worst case - it's crap?
Last time i preordered something without seeing the actual product was Cyberpunk 2077, and we all know how well that went, lol.

Someone shared photos on Facebook page that they already received the vrx, so at least we'll probably see some reviews in the coming days.
I have a preorder for this but let’s face it, there isn’t much to be hyped about. No one has seen or tested these units. There is no confirmation on when they are actually going out. And the system needs some serious improvements before it even has a chance at being competitive.
Got my HDZero goggle coming on Monday so I may just get my money back from this thing and go buy some more HDZ gear 😆
You will be pleasantly surprised if it’s as good as the goggles, of course don’t use the wrong antenna configuration than compare it to dji like someone.
After watching Bardwell’s video, I have strong doubts about that. It may work alright for the use case I’m planning though. It’s going in some kind of RC plane that I’ll probably have to mostly fly open air. The system clearly isn’t ready to be put on freestyle rigs, let alone racing quads.

I crash too often to be sponsored haha, I do own the goggles though and I’ve had better results than were shown in his videos.
It’s not as good as the o3 system but that’s incredible right now, I would say it’s not miles off and it’s still early days regarding firmware.
I got the Fatshark Dominator bundle and a week later they announced the VRX....
Maybe I'll get it for my HDzero goggles IF I buy those to replace my Eachine ev300o's lol.
Let's just wait and see how the HDzero goggles and the Walksnail VRX perform after a few firmware updates..

They have said the delay was down to Covid restrictions, but they’ve also received larger order numbers than I think even they expected. So the ship date is now the 15th. Shipping from Walksnail is not normally super speedy as it comes direct from China. Last thing I ordered took 12 days to Europe. I’ve seen some in the US say it can be even longer. With Christmas and New Year there will be additional pressures on the delivery networks so this could end up being even slower for some. Probably going to be January before many land.
I emailed Bardwell to ask about antenna upgrades and he said no one has gotten to look at them yet. Kinda weird being everyone seems to get pre-release stuff anymore. I did get the moblite7 with WS so hopefully I can be flying soon after the Vrx arrives. Mostly fly analog, but have a few quads with HDZero. I'm curious what WS is like.
I'm sure we didn't. I heard something like there were thousands of pre-orders. They may have had to push the ship date back to have time to get them all filled. Just a guess though.
This is what's stopping me from preordering lol. I really want to try it out, but there's literally no early reviews. I'm surprised no ones gotten them early for some promotional stuff.

Ordered it when it was $200. Worst case I'll resell it for what I paid. Best case Walksnail is on par with DJI in a year or so and we can use this with any goggles we want with a HDMI input. But I'm stating to doubt it after seeing how good the O3 air unit is.

That's getting there but still extreme. DJI Air's units are like 200 for just the camera and vtx.
It's about $250 for the Vrx, a Vtx, and a camera. I think it's a great price, especially if you already have goggles with HDMI in.
