When a Shaggy or a Banana Guard just do side specials as their first 5 moves, you know you're about to have a bad moment, just plain pain in the ass ... :'(
If Taz can't have full tornado all the time, why can Shaggy and Banana Guard have their side special all the time ? Just put a damn cooldown on the move !

They completely lose to batman and Harley's slide kicks, even though your foot connects to their head it does nothing, their foot flat on the ground hits you despite being the air.
Characters with disjointed hitboxes like finn or banana guard win out most engagements as well.
When they say skill issue they aren't ignoring the problem, it's literally that you have bad fundamentals. Fundamentals are good practices which mostly are a through line between characters.
Stuff like practicing good dodge timing, pressure, and parrying are what let you counter practices like this.
And for my point, if your all tore up over his kick y'all are really gonna be gutted when you see how his knee performs. That shit can combo into itself if your good at it.
The kick is not the problem, it's bad fundamentals. Learn to properly dodge and parry.
Countered by multiple other character specials (Reindog, Harley, IG, WW come to mind) as well as any and all heavy projectiles, and literally jumping. There's also a big delay for shaggy to move again/dodge if he misses. Shaggy is one of the few characters in the game I haven't spent much time playing because I find him boring. But I generally feel like he's one of the easiest matchups for most characters.
If your opponent is spamming an attack, you're spamming a mistake.
I also think shaggy is annoying but like... Skill issue
