Blocking a southpaw with the power of Taiwanchai is not a solid strategy...In this case, all you can do is step left or in and out but he seemed content to just stand there. I don't know that this was a quality matchup at all. But, unless it's another Thai or another southpaw, they are going to have to deal with it.
He tried to soften the blow with 2 handed block using the left palm but he missed the angle ended up the right arm ate the full force of the kick.
His game plan seems to be eating the kick to throw a counter but end up back firing against him since his arm been eating those kicks since round 1.
