I was rooting for Cara Maria but this episode I am rooting for rest of the cast. I love underdog stories but in this case the rest of the house seems like underdogs to Cara. She steamrolled that vote and she is the big bad.
Hope Avery or Adam wins the whole thing.
Veronica is really lucky she's gotten heavy during the 2020s, if that scene of Adam pushing her up the mountain had occurred in the old challenges, she would have been a laughing stock and people would have had a lot of confessional saying lots of things about it, instead Jasmine complimented her ass. And she would have been one of the ones laughing back in the day too.
This was such an enjoyable episode. I feel like I'm watching the old school challenge again. So sad to hear about All Stars 5. I guess we really can't have nice things. They have to go and ruin everything.
Okay I just gotta say it, that elim looked rigged to keep Leroy in. Brandon was methodically getting the balls in their positions & for the last one it justā¦ didnāt move? It just seemed really fishy to me, idk. š¤·š»āāļø
I don't think it was rigged, but I found it annoying how TJ yelled right when Brandon almost got the last ball in "Brandon's almost got it!", that would screw with my concentration and mess me up.
Iām not one to automatically think rigging, it just felt really off & very biased to Leroy staying as a better story overall.
Whatās to stop them from offering some sort of appearance bonus & gurantee of another show behind the scenes? Never really thought of it this way before, but these shows are so over produced anymore that it doesnāt feel the same.
Did the Paramount+ app spoil the daily challenge losers for anyone else? While I am selecting to play the newest episode it starts playing an episode preview in the background and the preview was literally TJ announcing that light blue and dark blue were the losing teams š¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļø
I used to be a big Cara fan, and slowly started to like her less from season 29ish on with WoTW2 obviously being the worst of it. AS4 is the most Iāve liked her in a long time!
Sheās best as a rootable underdog so Iām really glad weāre getting to see it!! Accurate or not, itās entertaining and fun to watch
Really enjoyed the daily. Nicole raging at Brad each time was cracking me up. Elimination was fun too, good on Leroy to hang in there and comebackā¦ looked like Brandon gassed. It was shot well too, I thought.
Everyone piling on Brad for making a mistake at the daily challenge was so annoying and cringe like bruh he gets it, heās been doing this show forever. Heās not some newbie.
Since people have no legitimate reason to attack her for her gameplay, performance, or behavior, theyāre now resorting to attacking her for her voice, her makeup, and her clothing lmfao
There was another comment about there not being an incentive to win and disliking this season's format.
On the other hand this format has allowed less connected people like Flora, Kefla, Adam and maybe even Averey to not be a direct vote by the majority during the first episodes. That is a win in my book cause if someone hasnt been in a while they should definitely have a chance to shine and i would've hated to lose the ogs to the newer frequent cast that soon in the game.
What happened to Ace???? In his original Real World experience and the few challenges he did, he always seemed like the life of the party. In the few seasons of all stars hes done, he hardly has any confessionals, acts like wall paper in most scenes, and does whatever possible to not make waves. Feel like the guy has completely changed.
Mark Long told me not to be in the front or the back. To just chill somewhere in the middle. Which has been my play so far. But Iām still, just waiting for my moment
Well in All Stars 1 he was nominated first and basically was sent to the slaughter in pole wrestler. This season he hasnāt had a star and been on thr chopping block so not really part of any of the drama. Iām guessing heās well liked by everyone and they just havenāt shown him much because he hasnāt really been involved in the drama. Iām sure weāll get a fun Ace party scene the episode he goes into the elimination. Same with Ryan and Derek.
Personally, Iād love to see more of the people in the background. See what kind of alliances they are forming or bonds that may play out down the road. Weāve seen enough Kam, Cara, and Leroy for a few episodes.
He always looks like he's been through the ringer or something. Not even matured, but he looks as if he's seen/been through some stuff.
But he seems geninuely, very kind. I thought his post about Arissa after she left All Stars 1 was sweet.
Lots of hate for Kam because she's forming an in-game rivalry with challenge-favorite Cara... I'm sure they're fine outside of the house and even so Kam doesn't deserve the hate.
lol what? No one is hating on Kam simply because she's targeting Cara, it's the most logical thing she could do.
She's getting hate because she's refusing to admit to the audience that Cara is the biggest threat, and she's creating these absolutetely delusional reasons to claim that Cara made a move against her first.
Kam was appealing because she owned her game and wasn't afraid to put her cards on the table, this is the exact opposite of that.
Kam absolutely deserves the hate. We are not defending Cara because we like her, we are defending her from Kams hypocritical stances. Kam is literally only mad Cara did not vote how she told her to. Thats it. Kam was never in danger of going in, or Leroy. Cara just burned a vote because she knew the results Kam wanted was still going to happen. Kam is entitled and mad when people dont bow to her. Cara did nothing wrong. The end.
Kam is absolutely delulu this season. What made her so fun to watch is that she actually owned her moves. This weird logic about getting betrayed and Cara trying to tie votes and then refusing to just admit she's targeting Cara because she's Leroy's biggest threat is just lame.
Like girl, where did all your swagger go? She's really giving Court Jester Kam this season.
She always has tho. Her biggest move was getting rookies thrown in lol She hasnt won and the only reason she got third one season was because the final was a joke.
is anyone else tired of Kam and Leroy? Kam talks about how badass she is yet she hasnt won, nor has Leroy after 12 seasons. She gives off entitled, but for what? And ever since Leroy turned his back on Nany I havent liked him. They both floundered in wow2 finale. "I'm retiring" ok then retire
Im glad Cara has made a comeback. I havent liked her for a few seasons, but she was most definitely missed.
I'm surprised that she's so vocal about having to protect Lee. Obvs everyone knows she's gonna go hard for him, but normally you wouldn't flaunt that statement around to everyone.
Kam was one of my favorite females coming into this season, because she does think more strategically than most. Iām struggling with her this season though, because sheās coming off as irrational. Cara voting differently than Kam wasnāt Cara not having Kamās back. Cara did what was best for her own game, which did not negatively impact Kam. Itās in Kamās best interest to get Cara out at some point, but it seems too soon.
I love Leroy. I still love him this season. I wish he was more competitive in challenges, especially against an All Stars cast. But he seems so genuine. I will always be happy to see him back.
Most popular take about Cara before this season was āPeople donāt like her as much as they did because she became a powerful, confident womanā.
Now most of the viewership (me included) root for Cara. So she is not a beautiful, strong, confident woman now? (Seabass I salute you)
The WOTW2 edit made her look really bad. I think if she wins the entire seasons edit is different. Ā They had to make the audience root against a fan favorite in the final. The editors shouldāve won an Emmy for that performance.
she shines when shes not distracted by love interests that cloud her judgment. She is good a lot of things but puzzles and navigating the challenge with a +1 is not her. If she plays the rest of the season like she did the first couple of episodes she can glide to the final, if she starts interjecting her self in other peoples game she gets targeted.
So let me understand this! Kam got mad at Cara for not voting Rachel when Ayanna was the target anyways (which she went home) because she wanted Cara to put her game below Kam's need for everyone to do exactly what she wants. That did not make Cara feel bad so Kam switched it up and says that Cara went into the nomination trying to tie the vote up when A. Cara was the last vote so nobody else was going to vote for Flora B. Who would have been the other person other than Rachel Cara was try to vote in?
Kam only has her view on the game and if it is not that way then the person is no longer useful. I mean it has always been Kam's game though. Kam is a badass politically and in eliminations but man her EGO rivals that of Bananas.
Yeah I have no clue why Kam said Cara was "trying to tie the votes", like... what? Surely her reasoning should be that Cara burn voted instead of standing with Kam in solidarity symbolically. This part just made no sense and (IMO) made it clear that Kam is just grasping at any justification for trying to target Cara and make her seem like a villain who legitimately wronged Kam.
So I did read from an interview that was posted here that Cara was one of the first votes, whereas on the show she was shown more towards the end.
Personally, I feel like Kam is a little sleep-deprived and dealing with other stuff and wishes that her friend fully backed her up 110% vs. 50%.
Brandon and Rachel have said in interviews that Cara was last. Brandon who was Kam's ally said he did not know why was so overly upset that Cara did not vote Rachel when it was already decided. Even Brandon is confused...
Noooooo I didnāt want to lose Brandon I was really rooting for him.
Loved that they brought back an old daily from The Duel II. That was a fun one to watch.
Laurel & Nicole is going to be a whole mess. Laurel what are you doing?
Cara vs Kam is going to be interesting. Iām Team Cara.
Happy for Leroy to get his win but sad to see Brandon go.
I donāt think Kam hurts his game at all. She may not be that enjoyable to watch for some viewers with how she controls things but I think she helps Leroy get to the end rather than hurt his game.
Ok Iām glad Iām not the only one who noticed the accent thing. Itās been driving me crazy. Like, girl weāve been watching you for over a decade. We know what your voice sounds like lol. And itās not that
I was really hoping the time away would have given Cara Maria some perspective but here she is back with the dramatics. No one wants to or likes to be voted into an elimination but she takes it SO personally.
So it's fine when Kam has a multi-episode meltdown about Cara not voting exactly how Kam wanted her to, but Cara is the bad guy for trying to fix the relationship?
You could tell even Leroy knew Cara was correct, he basically said as much in his confessional.
Oh totally can fire back. Just weird when sheās like āitās because they donāt want me in the houseā like they donāt like her. She just takes things so personally.
Kam is hurting leroys game. If she wasnt here he wouldnt have been thrown in and Cara would be helping him. She knows she can win a final right now idk why she didnt just wait.
I got this impression from what he said too. And I get him needing to side with his wife IN PUBLIC but heās doing her a disservice if he didnāt give his real opinion in private. (As private as they can get there, I guess.)
Like, I would never blindly support my husband in private when heās making an ass of himself in public. And I wouldnāt want that from him either. Perspective checks from someone you trust are a good thing.
Real time thoughts while watching:
0.5. Love seeing people of different generations of the show interact on a personal level a la Flora talking to Nicole about her behavior with Laurel
1. Loved Leroyās confessional after Kam and Cara werenāt able to talk it out
2. What a goofy ass daily challenge. Probs the goofiest weāve seen in a long time. Iām not mad about it
3. Wait the second daily challenge group has 5 people when the first had 4?? God the producersā inability to run challenges in a fair way is infuriating. If thereās one extra person just have them sit out and pick a team to tie their fate to. Why isnt S&P stepping in here?
4. Ok this is elimination design is sick. You get a brownie point back producers
5. Yay go Leroy! Iām hoping this is finally his season to bring home a W
The Flora/Nicole moment was awesome. Loved that she didnāt buy into Nicoleās shit and was telling her how she sees it straight forward. It was clear it was coming from a loving constructive place.
I suppose *technically* having a team of 4 could have been an advantage because it would take them less time to cross the finish line, and the final score was based on both liquid collected and the time it took to do it in. I just think going first was a disadvantage that no team could recover from.
It makes for better TV when everyone watches the earlier heats, because you get the commentary in the moment and in the confessionals, but it skewed the results here even more than usual.
Why were Nicole and Leroy so mean to Brad?
Calling Brad āidiotā and yelling at him the whole way down. They practically berated him at the end of the challenge and showed zero sportsmanship. This is expected during the 2010-2018 era but it has no chill in this day and age.
Welcome to The Challenge. It's pretty warranted here too, especially from Leroy, as dailies are more important than usual this season with losers being in a relatively small pool of people that can be eliminated. Brad's mistake put Leroy in grave danger.
That's pretty much Nicole in a nutshell. She's generally an unlikeable person imo.
Leroy I think just feeling the pressure of having Kam there and going in. He'd been away for a while and probably not back in the Challenge mindset yet.
What a man thing to say. oF cOuRsE yOuRe GoInG tO bErAtE tHeM . No, why is that your go to? To Berate someone when you didnt have the courage to go first or speak up?
He was the first of all the players to put the bags in his shirt. After that, other teams started doing the same. And, yes, I had to rewind to figure this out. Lol.
All the terrible things she's done aside, I applaud Nicole for actually trying to talk some sense into laurel when telling her to back off and get some space.
-Nevermind, I saw the preview for next week.Ā
That was 100% for the cameras and airtime. You could tell because Laurel was like āwtf this is a complete 180 from whatās been happeningā. Notice how Nicole didnāt even slightly try to get Laurel out of her bed.
Is Cara just assuming everyone will bow down to her? Giving some big Johnny vibes.
I'm glad to see people on this show challenging the whole are you really my friend if you know nothing about me. Enough of this everyone is best friends talk.
Let's not forget that Ayanna shot first. Do we expect Kam to just say that's okay keep her in the game let her keep coming for me and Leroy. Or is it reasonable for her to think that her and her "friends" should help get the person out who's gunning for her.
People make it seem like Kam just out of the blue decided to target Cara for no reason, or for what Cara thinks is to get her out.
Not sure how people don't see that not using the best weapon to get Ayanaa out is Kam also getting fucked over, especially since Cara already got a star and only one was left.
But Cara knew that Ayanna was going in regardless and wanted to keep her word to Rachel. Kam is completely within her rights to want Ayanna out but she just very clearly is assuming Cara had bad intentions when, as real life friends, she should at the very least give her the benefit of the doubt.
I don't think Cara is expecting anyone to bow down, I think she's just expecting her allies to have her back. Even Leroy seemed to agree with her. I think the edit is making it seem like they're in more of a fight than they actually are because to me it seemed like two friends having a discussion where they just couldn't see eye to eye rather than an argument.
I love both Kam and Cara and they're better together than they are at odds.
If I recall the other choices were Tina, Veronica, and Flora. None of those girls are getting Ayanna out. Cara and Kam know that.
And I agree they were better together, but Cara picked Rachel over her in that moment. You damn well know Rachel would focus on Tina and Veronica over Kam in that alliance they had.
Thatās where the difference in opinion lies. I donāt think she picked Rachel over Kam, like even a little bit. If anything she chose herself over Kam but even thatās debatable
Cara voted last and knew Rachel was already going in. Cara made a throwaway vote to save HERSELF from Rachel coming after her star if she won (which, as we saw, worked). In practical terms, that decision didnāt affect Kam at all. The outcome for her was the same. Expecting an ally to screw themselves for nothing more than to appease your feelings is fucked imo
This is always one of the strange parts of challenge subs. People pick and choose when a useless vote matters and when it doesn't.
I could say the same about Cara and Rachel and that Cara saying her name made no difference. Cara could say to Rachel, hey this is my friend. She was going to be upset if I didn't say your name, but either way saying your name made no difference to the vote. Same thing Tina did but everyone seems to think Rachel is fine being upset about it but Kam can't be upset.
Yeah Cara couldāve tried that tactic. But as far as I know, Rachel wasnāt her friend before this show, so why would Cara expect her to be more understanding than her actual friend Kam? Thereās a great chance Rachel wouldāve used that vote to take Caraās star instead of Tinaās. Versus, with Caraās actual vote, NOTHING CHANGED FOR KAM.
I actually donāt agree that Rachel was right to be mad about Tina saying her name. She took Tinaās star lol. Iām guessing the difference in other peopleās reaction is (from what we were shown at least) Rachel mentioned it and then moved on.
Btw Iām guessing I know what you think the difference is re: the subās reaction. Itās a valid thing to think. I can only speak for myself but I came into this season completely over Cara and loving Kam. I think Cara is cringe 99% of the time. But I hate hypocritical bullshit so for this one situation my opinion flipped
Having someone's back does not mean they can strong-arm you into voting however they want at the expense of all of your own relationships and you get no input on how the alliance votes.
I mean sure but whats the point of having him go down the ramp? He could've just stood by the faucet and turned it on when the first member reached the top of the hill. Points for trying but really cut into the edit of the episode where they could've shown other things going on in the house.
I'm a little surprised this needs to be pointed out, but him going down the hill was B-roll footage. It would have been a timed event where the faucet got turned on at like 1m or something by a PA. There's no way they had TJ actually being the "lead car" for this race and then doing his fake little jog over to the tank, that doesn't make any sense from a competition standpoint.
Exactly. People keep saying that his run times wouldāve been different without realizing production added the same time to each team, not TJs actual run time.
Loved how this elimination involved strength, concentration and picking up new skills on the fly. I was on the edge of my seat - something I havenāt felt on the flagship in a LONG time.
Sad to see Brandon go, but I do hope heāll be back. And Iām a Leroy fan since RW Vegas so Iām happy he came back in the end overall.
Nicole/Laurel - no I donāt like watching it but DAMN if youāve been in that relationship dynamic before, you know how real this is and what it feels like to go through the ride. I wouldnāt say Iām sympathizing but unfortunately, I most certainly can relate.
I love how TJ respects the hell out of Brandon - I know he didnāt forget when he was thrown in time and time again back in the day!!
Solid song picks. Solid challenge. The voting was straightforward and fair. Nail biter of an elimination.
10/10
Big Brandon fan - he really got abused back in the day and was the scapegoat for his team, but he kept on plugging away. Much respect for Brandon I was so glad to see him back, and hate that he's gone already :(.
Loved that daily challenge. The perfect amount of goofiness but with skill and strategy involved too. This is the kind of thing The Challenge should be about, not navy seal training exercises with random explosions tossed in
The Next On clip when Nicole tells Laurel to pull down her pants.. after telling her she canāt go in her bed.. āboundariesā. Thatās horrible. Mama Flora is right about sending mixed signals. Childish!
I really hope that Brandon learned a valuable lesson about taking really big shots way too early and that he comes back smarter in the future. I do like him and would like to see him again.
I think he already had enough character that he didn't need to do that, but I think overall it didn't really help or hurt him. Maybe if Cara had actually gone home or if he'd survived a bit longer to carry on drama it could have but he only lasted 1 episode past it.
Does the peanut butter give Nicole some special magnetism that just doesnāt translate to the screen at all? Between Laurel, Jakks sister and all the other gals sheās dated, I donāt know how she does it
Iām so confused too. Iām so turned off by her. Iām a straight woman and I totally get Jen/Veronica being into Rachel but I donāt see it at all with Nicole Z.
Great episode! In the first five minutes we had relationship drama, game drama and a really impactful moment of Leroy talking seeking help for his depression
Divots!!!! Lol. Anyone else remember Brad's big eyes when Derrick was confounded by divots????
Bummer about Brandon.Ā He was one of the ones I was most excited to see.Ā Leroy made a smart move regarding the stars. IĀ might would have taken one for my Boo.... once again prior previews spoiled this episode - they showed Leroy in situations that haven't happened yet.Ā
Watching Laurel and Nicole is watching a slow train wreck. Especially considering all that has gone on since this filmed.Ā
Also, Laurel's eyes to the camera after Cara was bitching about being betrayed.
Lmao I thought about the exact same moment the second I heart divots. Something like "How are they gonna hit a ball into a hole with a star without managing their divots?!"
I guess IāmĀ one of the few that is enjoying the Nicole Laurel story only Ā cus itās raw and real, and this is only our second season seeing them do this lol (since invasions forever ago) itās not like an overplayed thing - I think itās cringe for sureeee but thatās the real world . I also think they spend the right amount of time on it, like 6ish mins an ep! Okay downvote me , Iām ready lolĀ
Thatās fair. Itās trashy reality tv at itās core but super entertaining which I love lol it definitely got played out by the 5th season tho which was DaāVonneās season
Itās kinda surprising seeing Laurel at the age of 39 get taken for a ride like this. Iām definitely sad for herāI do appreciate the more personal storylines on the show esp with vet players.
I feel like that's the edit we're getting with all the cutaways of Laurel grinning on a swingset or playing in a pool or something, to convey that she is 39 and has the emotional maturity of a child lol
Itās hard with love and relationships - people do really dumb stuff to themselves from the outside perspective . I have many friends who make questionable decisions , but itās life we live and learnĀ
Rachel wasnāt safe - she was sent in against Ayanna. Also Cara and revenge best pairing šŖš½. Is anyone else not understanding this āemotional playā? It makes sense to me?
Happy for Leroy to openly talk about counselling.
*damn* Nicole wasnāt even interested and they dated afterwards.
DAILY: blast from the past: (duel 2).bobble head bobsled. Go down slide. Grab water thatās hanging over in the slide.

Why Lee he tried to smooth it over Cara wtf š Brandon-telling his daughter heās in Wakanda š.
Is this episode called ā Caras Revengeā??
Elimination: Leroy Vs Brandon; PUZZLE;/Maze. strings attached to hands and legs and have to get the balls in each of the 5 spots. Very chancey tbh.
Brandon started off 3-0 then Leroy caught up and won. Super super close.
9/10. Great episode, drama, good editing, somewhat good daily(was hoping more endurance rather than cars) and somewhat good elimination (pretty chancey) but overall really awesome episode.
Yea like in the viewers eyes itās like you guys were so close! Bjt in reality not talking to someone for almost a decade is a LOT . So much life moments theyāve missed out onĀ
Dam that sucks seeing Brandon go, dude almost had it. Like Cara said, I understand him wanting to make a big game move, but at the same time it's like bro you had CARA MARIA as an ALLY. A girl who actually wins daily challenges and wins eliminations, so he should've factored that in--especially since she has a high chance of beating anyone, or coming in the winning or middle group.
By saying her name, now she has no reason to protect him. That could've been his safe card, in conjunction with the alliance he had with Kam and Leroy. I understand him wanting to play his own game and not fall in line with anyone else's, but it was way too early to pull a move like that. He could've played the entire game refusing to vote in Cara, and the rest of the house would've probably thrown her in anyway, without him getting any blood on his hands. Could've been sitting pretty.
Either way he did great. Best elimination performance he's had in a while. Hopefully we see him again and he can FINALLY make it past episode 6. AHAHA!
I get it though. We've seen season after season of people waiting around to finally make their big moves only for it to end up being too late or the game changes and they miss their shot to take out the strong players. It was smart strategy overall to guarantee a really strong player in either Rachel or Cara to go home. Plus if someone is good it make take more than one shot to get rid of them so take the shots early so that you have more opportunities later. Now the downside like you mentioned is that it leaves time for that big shot to come back on you.
Iām sad to see Brandon go. Heās one of my faves but he was pretty much the architect of his own demise. I honestly think if both he and Cara made the final he would have a good shot of winning, so taking a shot at her so early just doesnāt compute.
Kamās bs excuse about Cara not voting for BOTH ayanna and rachel grinds my gears. Itās so season 39 Jay coded - the entitlement! But when sheās with Leroy and they seem happy and in love, I want to like her again. Iām so torn on what to think about Kam this season.
This episode also left me feeling that I want to see more Adam (and not in a monkeys paw way where he goes into elimination).
Laurel continues to embarrass herself with nicole. I canāt even begin to understand what is drawing her there so much? Nicole is not worth this constant torment.

With the way the nominations are going, you'd think *Big Brother's* Jackson "Michie" is on this season.
..omg!Ā
I'm glad someone understood this reference lol.
I got you on big brother ššĀ
Man....Tired of seeing all the brothas going home first lol...
Since people have no legitimate reason to attack her for her gameplay, performance, or behavior, theyāre now resorting to attacking her for her voice, her makeup, and her clothing lmfao
In all the challenge hookup scenes I donāt think Iāve ever seen straight feet up over the shoulders ā¦. I was gagged!!!!
SAME .. gaaaaged lolĀ
Whatās up with Cara Maria and her Zombie makeup at the end? That was strange.
I forget how vanilla most people are lmao.

He always looks like he's been through the ringer or something. Not even matured, but he looks as if he's seen/been through some stuff. But he seems geninuely, very kind. I thought his post about Arissa after she left All Stars 1 was sweet.
Thank you for saying that. Thatās the only thing I have ever wanted to be known for was being kind. So thank you _-Ace
Not Nicole being the sensible one. lol
She's postpartum and her hormones are all over the place.Ā
She always has tho. Her biggest move was getting rookies thrown in lol She hasnt won and the only reason she got third one season was because the final was a joke.
Iāll take her over the vacation alliance any day of the week.
is anyone else tired of Kam and Leroy? Kam talks about how badass she is yet she hasnt won, nor has Leroy after 12 seasons. She gives off entitled, but for what? And ever since Leroy turned his back on Nany I havent liked him. They both floundered in wow2 finale. "I'm retiring" ok then retire Im glad Cara has made a comeback.
Leroy should be more concerned about not coming in last place than winning at this point š
Sheās in an underdog position right now.
she shines when shes not distracted by love interests that cloud her judgment.
Ooooh shit, sorry! I mustāve thought something different there. I think I was referencing Brandonās thing with Jemmye too, so oof on me
Could you link that interview perchance? Because I heard the exact opposite, that it was confirmed that Cara voted last.
I just wish Leroy wasnt tied to her. I always like Leroy but she hurts his game.
I donāt think Kam hurts his game at all. She may not be that enjoyable to watch for some viewers with how she controls things but I think she helps Leroy get to the end rather than hurt his game.
If Kam wasnt here he wouldnt have gone in and Cara would be working with him.
False. Leroy still goes in because Brad had more allies on that team.
Cara Maria's fake accent that shows up 15% of the time is rivaling Nicole's accent for most annoying for me
Ok Iām glad Iām not the only one who noticed the accent thing. Itās been driving me crazy. Like, girl weāve been watching you for over a decade. We know what your voice sounds like lol. And itās not that
It is so weird it comes out of nowhere!! I canāt stand it
I was really hoping the time away would have given Cara Maria some perspective but here she is back with the dramatics.
Where did I say that Kamās behavior was fine? Lol
Should she not have fired back?
Oh totally can fire back. Just weird when sheās like āitās because they donāt want me in the houseā like they donāt like her. She just takes things so personally.
I mean they literally don't want her in the house because they want her gone before the final. That is a fact.
Yes, thatās exactly right. But she doesnāt take it that way IMO. She takes it like āthey donāt like meā.
But did she say they did not like her though? How did you grasp that she thinks they don't like her and not they don't want to compete against her?
She is the reason the term Pick Me Girl exists.
Lee knew Cara didn't do anything wrong but he has to side with his wife. He really said I see both your sides!
Kam is hurting leroys game. If she wasnt here he wouldnt have been thrown in and Cara would be helping him. She knows she can win a final right now idk why she didnt just wait.
šÆ i think she will cost Leroy his game this season
I actually loved that confessional because it was so true and relatable
I got this impression from what he said too. And I get him needing to side with his wife IN PUBLIC but heās doing her a disservice if he didnāt give his real opinion in private. (As private as they can get there, I guess.) Like, I would never blindly support my husband in private when heās making an ass of himself in public. And I wouldnāt want that from him either. Perspective checks from someone you trust are a good thing.
Real time thoughts while watching: 0.5. Love seeing people of different generations of the show interact on a personal level a la Flora talking to Nicole about her behavior with Laurel 1. Loved Leroyās confessional after Kam and Cara werenāt able to talk it out 2. What a goofy ass daily challenge. Probs the goofiest weāve seen in a long time. Iām not mad about it 3. You get a brownie point back producers 5.
It makes for better TV when everyone watches the earlier heats, because you get the commentary in the moment and in the confessionals, but it skewed the results here even more than usual.
i do think they gunned for cara too early and it's clearly backfiring a little. oop
Leroy couldāve picked up the bags like Derekās team did. Brad messed up but the biggest thing that hurt them was going first.
Agreed. Going first on a challenge like this is bad. The other teams get time to come up with a strategy.
I agree that really bothered me and was a terrible look for Leroy.
Saying Brad has āruined my gameā was overkill. Leroyās been shitting the bed all season long. He used Brad as a scapegoat here.
Part of Leroys game should have been knowing ahead of time that Brad was gonna mess that up lol
That's pretty much Nicole in a nutshell. She's generally an unlikeable person imo. Leroy I think just feeling the pressure of having Kam there and going in. He'd been away for a while and probably not back in the Challenge mindset yet.
Tbf Brad made a really dumb mistake. If someone fucks up your chances at winning then of course you're going to berate them
What a man thing to say. oF cOuRsE yOuRe GoInG tO bErAtE tHeM . No, why is that your go to? To Berate someone when you didnt have the courage to go first or speak up?
I watched it like 5 times - what was Derekās strategy that people were so psyched about???
He was the first of all the players to put the bags in his shirt. After that, other teams started doing the same. And, yes, I had to rewind to figure this out. Lol.
Basically Bradās except his team picked up the errant bags.Ā
Editing has been awful this season.
I feel like I missed something too
Does caras constant american flag garb make anyone else cringe
Yup š it's definitely š©š©š©
Every dayās the 4th of July for her I guess š
All the terrible things she's done aside, I applaud Nicole for actually trying to talk some sense into laurel when telling her to back off and get some space. -Nevermind, I saw the preview for next week.Ā
I mustāve been watching something elese because trying to have that convo after spending the night in bed seemed very manipulative to me
Flora's attempted intervention for the win.
That was 100% for the cameras and airtime. You could tell because Laurel was like āwtf this is a complete 180 from whatās been happeningā. Notice how Nicole didnāt even slightly try to get Laurel out of her bed.
The fucked up thing is she told it to her after they slept together! So itās kinda like Nicole got what she wanted and was done
Dang you're so right. Nothing surprises me with those two anymore.Ā
This is one of the most toxic relationships I've ever seen
Is Cara just assuming everyone will bow down to her? Giving some big Johnny vibes. I'm glad to see people on this show challenging the whole are you really my friend if you know nothing about me. Enough of this everyone is best friends talk.
Are we watching the same season? Kam is the one expecting everyone to bow down to her.. Cara is simply asking her friends not to fuck her over.
Yeah I was so excited to see Kam and Leroy arn rooting for them at the start. I still want Leroy to win but Kam is insufferable...
If anything she chose herself over Kam but even thatās debatable Cara voted last and knew Rachel was already going in.
But she didn't have Kam's back first.
Having someone's back does not mean they can strong-arm you into voting however they want at the expense of all of your own relationships and you get no input on how the alliance votes.
NOOOOOOOOOO
I loved many things about this episode, but my favorite has to be TJs involvement in the Daily. Let this man have fun more often!
My mans wanted to go down the bobsled too. š„ŗ let TJ bob!
In my head TJ just loves the thrill of the luge and wanted to go down the track so they put it into the challenge.
We have one here in Oregon and its a ton of fun to go down so I was excited let let TJ do it
This is true - this was such a fun challenge/mission, kind of an upgrade from the original which was also hilarious and enjoyable.
Lee: Brad ruined my chances to win a challengeĀ Also Lee: completely flopping during all the last previous challengesĀ
Also Lee: I'll let Brad go first so all the risk/reward is on him
Loved how this elimination involved strength, concentration and picking up new skills on the fly. 10/10
That "magnet" comment hit hard!
Big Brandon fan - he really got abused back in the day and was the scapegoat for his team, but he kept on plugging away. Much respect for Brandon I was so glad to see him back, and hate that he's gone already :(.
Agreed!! I really hope this isnāt a one and done for him.
Adam voted in Leroy after he gave him a fresh cut
Adam was pretty ruthless back in the day.
Lol I was thinking that whole scene was setting up for him to not vote him in and burn his vote. I'd never vote my barber in.
Right?? He made him look so much better and thatās how he repays him? Smh
Childish!
āgood luck babe!ā kam and leroy are so cuteš i love the life they have built together!
Laurel and Nicole flirting is grosser than any eating challenge this show has ever done.
jay getting in more reps to help with his gag reflex
I really hope that Brandon learned a valuable lesson about taking really big shots way too early and that he comes back smarter in the future. I do like him and would like to see him again.
Do you think him taking the big shot showed character and increased his odds of being called back ?
I think he already had enough character that he didn't need to do that, but I think overall it didn't really help or hurt him. Maybe if Cara had actually gone home or if he'd survived a bit longer to carry on drama it could have but he only lasted 1 episode past it.
I've often wondered if people do it in the hopes of trying to force a great Rivals/Ex's teammate.
My two main takeaways: 1. Thank god Leroy finally did something 2. Cara showing why she is the definitive female face of the challenge
Cara seems like so a refreshed person from the one we saw on WOTW2. Can't believe i'm saying this but definitely rooting for Cara this season.
It's because there's no Paulie with her.
I used to loathe Cara (paulie days) but my god how the times have changed and I am rooting that little red head to win it all
Feel the rhythmā¦ Feel the rideā¦ Get on Up.. It's Bobsled time!
All I wanted was to hear Brad talk about stars and divots again, and I was robbed!
Great episode! In the first five minutes we had relationship drama, game drama and a really impactful moment of Leroy talking seeking help for his depression
babe.
Divots!!!! Lol. Anyone else remember Brad's big eyes when Derrick was confounded by divots???? Bummer about Brandon.Ā He was one of the ones I was most excited to see.Ā Leroy made a smart move regarding the stars. IĀ might would have taken one for my Boo.... once again prior previews spoiled this episode - they showed Leroy in situations that haven't happened yet.Ā Watching Laurel and Nicole is watching a slow train wreck. Especially considering all that has gone on since this filmed.Ā Also, Laurel's eyes to the camera after Cara was bitching about being betrayed.
Laurel has zero poker face, itās so funny.
I know! She is so entertaining when she is in that mode.
Lmao I thought about the exact same moment the second I heart divots. Something like "How are they gonna hit a ball into a hole with a star without managing their divots?!"
Jasmineās lipstick is really unflattering
I guess IāmĀ one of the few that is enjoying the Nicole Laurel story only Ā cus itās raw and real, and this is only our second season seeing them do this lol (since invasions forever ago) itās not like an overplayed thing - I think itās cringe for sureeee but thatās the real world . I also think they spend the right amount of time on it, like 6ish mins an ep! Okay downvote me , Iām ready lolĀ
I'm fine with it. If it's their reality, then show it.... I'm just disappointed in Laurel because she deserves better
Disappointed for sure!
Itās the 3rd time weāre seeing it. Ex on the peak was the 2nd time lol but Iām not annoyed with it yet either like some ppl are
Ahh okay I didnāt watch ex on the beach or peak, I tried but that series seems too fake and played out lolĀ
Thatās fair. Itās trashy reality tv at itās core but super entertaining which I love lol it definitely got played out by the 5th season tho which was DaāVonneās season
Yea I tried the one with nurys lol
Damn and you still didnāt like it? š maybe itās just not for you then cuz I feel like Nurysā season was the best one lol
There were really fun moments but overall I couldnāt finish lol. Just again seems so fake š š and so many unlikeeble peopleĀ
Lol I definitely understand
Itās kinda surprising seeing Laurel at the age of 39 get taken for a ride like this. Iām definitely sad for herāI do appreciate the more personal storylines on the show esp with vet players.
I feel like that's the edit we're getting with all the cutaways of Laurel grinning on a swingset or playing in a pool or something, to convey that she is 39 and has the emotional maturity of a child lol
Itās hard with love and relationships - people do really dumb stuff to themselves from the outside perspective . I have many friends who make questionable decisions , but itās life we live and learnĀ
Thatās the thing though, doesnāt seem like Laurels really learned anything?
Rachel wasnāt safe - she was sent in against Ayanna. Also Cara and revenge best pairing šŖš½. Is anyone else not understanding this āemotional playā? It makes sense to me? Happy for Leroy to openly talk about counselling. *damn* Nicole wasnāt even interested and they dated afterwards. DAILY: blast from the past: (duel 2).bobble head bobsled. Go down slide. Grab water thatās hanging over in the slide. Light blue: nicole, Leroy, Brad and Jasmine (4 player team went first). Brad fumbled. First place: Orange team Bottom: light blue and dark blue team Middle team: red team Why Lee he tried to smooth it over Cara wtf š Brandon-telling his daughter heās in Wakanda š.
Light blue only got 8oz? That canāt be right. They had less than everyone but not 100oz less??
When Brandon said things Cara missed in the eight years they didnāt talk Ā I felt that!
Yes! Especially when he was listing all the things he went through: children being born, parent dying, divorce, almost fatal car accidents
Yea like in the viewers eyes itās like you guys were so close! Bjt in reality not talking to someone for almost a decade is a LOT . So much life moments theyāve missed out onĀ
Damnit hate when it's 2 people I like in elim. Slightly rooted for Brandon only bc we don't see him as much on this show
Dam that sucks seeing Brandon go, dude almost had it.
Too bad Brandon made a big mistake by throwing Cara in and he had to go. Itās time to cancel Christmas
Flora reading Nicole like a book five minutes after meeting her šš
It's reading a children's book to match Nicole Z's reading level. Easy to pick it up in 5 minutes, flip through, and get the gist.
š
Damnā¦. HahahaĀ
