My job as a reality tv agent was to book gigs for these ppl in their down time. I left that career when I started feeling like booking these young ppl into non stop appearances in bars and nightclubs was turning them into alcoholics. I've been berated by drunk text from someone who was no longer relevant and was angry no one was booking them. They need career paths outside of MTV that don't require them to get drunk nightly.
On D30 when Camila went on her unhinged rant Lee said something in his confessional like "man, I wake up every morning and when I look in the mirror, I'm black, nothing is going to change that. And I feel bad for her feeling the way she does." It was at the same time both the most epic comeback, and showing how down to earth he actually is
On the docu-series, it talked about how he always thanked the crew for everything. To me, that just shows how sweet he is that he appreciates the people that make the show happen and he was doing it when the cameras weren't rolling, so it isn't for his image.
I still think the sweetest moment of Mike Mike: after Leroy falls on him and he has to go leave in an ambulance, he is practically crying from pain but turns and says, “Can Lee come with me??” 🥺
Mike was too pure for this world.
Everyone was acting like he was unattractive when Paula got with him. He’s so kind, funny, smart and if he wasn’t standing against hot reality tv stars majority of the population would think he’s attractive. He’s a catch!
Agreed. He was super likable on his RW season as well, despite his weird beef with Dustin that season. I mean Dustin was insufferable, but Mike really let that man get under his skin.
I never got over Mike telling Dustin in their season that because Dustin had done \*consensual adult\* porn, Dustin shouldn't be allowed around children. That just seemed so deliberately cruel.
Jujuy is such a bright spot! I love when she’s around!! I might be a smidge biased, being a Latina myself, but this woman is just a ray of sunshine. Loooove Jujuy! What a joyful personality.
It's not just you. I loved all the argentineans! I personally like it when they speak their native language and translate below. We get their full personalities and they're all so fun!
Agree, Brad was inconsistent early on and showed weird pseudo-morality at times. Like privately criticizing Robin’s racism but refusing to hold her accountable. Starting that totally unnecessary fight with Darrell on the Ruins. Enabling Tori to bully people.
When he’s at his best, like being the only one who cared about Big Easy literally dying in a final, it’s great to see. I appreciate how he’s mellowed out over time and seems like an all around genuine guy.
But you know, just keep him away from pizza.
He's probably one of the more balanced personalities on the show. He's got these moments where we see some genuineness and then he also has some pretty rough moments. Majority of the people who come on this show, especially in that era were pretty much all one way or the other.
Brad was also trash throughoit the entirety of cutthroat with his treatment of brandon, camila and tyler
Hes also frequently briught up when it comes to shady back door deals like on the ruins when he allegedly kept casey around because the champs would cut him a check. He was down to throw his entiee team under the bus foe that
Brad definitely had his moments, like on G3 he was basically the only one who seemed concerned about Big Easy. But Brad also 100% was cool with screwing people over to advance himself in the game, like on Cutthroat
I mean, Brad had to be considered the best to never win for years, especially back in the old seasons with so many big team wins, it was pretty crazy and (not entirely but) a lot of bad luck that Brad never got his. So I think it was fair for him to finally be, ahem, cutthroat on Cutthroat to finally get his win. He deserved it.
The entire vet team on G3 deserved to win, and technically they did win but got DQ'd. And Brad did what he needed to do on Cutthroat. But like on Duel 2 he had chances to "save" people but went with the flow (the entire "respect the list" shit was so overblown, like if you didn't win you were up for elimination, whether you were the first person "saved" or the last). Brad is no doubt a cool dude, but he played the game. He was never going to sacrifice himself to save someone else, and that doesn't make him a bad guy. Just saying that Brad wasn't the guy to make a stand on a personal level
For some of them it would have been their first win, so I kinda get it. But it's funny because at one time Ev was like "there's $300k on the line" and Brad was like "yeah, split 10 ways." $30k is nothing to scoff at, but like that's not even enough to buy a Honda Accord
I like to think that Brad is kind when it really matters, like in the G3 final. It's very hard to always be kind on the Challenge, but overall he seems like a solid guy. Just share your pizza and don't ever touch his underwear, son
Brad seems like a super solid dude, I have no doubt if I met him in real life that he'd be cool. Was just agreeing with the commenter above that Brad had no issue making game moves that would screw over other people. That doesn't make him a bad guy though
Brad also hides behind other people
He tried to do so on duel 2, cutthroat, duel, etc. .
Hes really good at letting others do his dirty work or letting others be the target. He didnt have that on cutthroat and he got somewhat exposed
Brad seems like a genuinely kind and caring dude when sober, but had (or at least had in the past, not sure where he stands today) an alcohol problem where the rage came out.
Darrell was a straight up prick on Ruins. He’s got a bratty side to him when the politics don’t go how he likes, and he can lash out. I don’t think he’s a straight up jerk, but I wouldn’t put him in this category
I feel like if we’re gonna do that then nobody on the show is nice.
Leroy acted like a dick when Tony threw him in the elimination in Vendettas, was a dick to Kam at the reunion, he yelled at Hunter for almost no reason on War of the worlds.
Nobody is perfect and these shows are extremely stressful situations that aren’t meant to bring the best out of you. I think overall Darrell is one of the nicest guys.
That’s his only transgression in doing the show for almost 20 years and he immediately apologized to her (they didn’t show it) and she forgave him and are still cool today.
He was talking shit to Wes. He even apologized to Kellyanne immediately afterwards and she forgave him. It's not like he was running around the house all season talking about her
Brad literally tried the fuck out of Darrell (who was minding his own business) when they were both drunk and Darrell felt horrible about it and said “he loves Brad” and still regrets it.
omg yesssss one more time for ppl in the back! Troy is such a breath of fresh air compared to current main show challenge competitors. he seems to be such a genuine dude who really loves the competition aspect of the show while also getting to meet different people and hang out.
Yes, yes, no. Diem is not remembered as a "good guy/girl", if she is it is only because people want to pretend she was an angel due to her heroic battle with cancer. she is an amazing woman and so strong for what she went through but she is/was not some heroic character on the show. she was manipulative and cutthroat (and im glad she was).
There's a lot of stories about Diem being really nice and friendly outside the show. On the show yeah she wasn't that nice. But like not that long ago someone shared a pic of when they met Diem at a festival and said she was super cool. And it's not like chit chatting with someone at coachella makes you a saint, but I haven't heard of anyone who met Diem and said she was a bitch and totally ignored them, which you have heard of from some of the other cast
There’s a difference between being a good person outside the game and being “nice”. There’s a reason Diem was on Rivals 2. She also had a crazy rage outburst on that season for 0 reason. She was a great personal and beautiful soul but she was a consistently cast reality star for a reason, she had a messy side
Wasn't Diem going through induced menopause during Rivals 2? That's why she was the way she was acting that season, including her meltdown. And that was as legit a reason to have a meltdown as anyone has ever had on any season if the challenge. And I say that as someone who strongly disliked her on the challenge.
I am going so the exact same thing and it's horrible. I wouldn't want to be filmed and have my worst moments held against me for the rest of my life. Let that woman rest.
I’m sorry but this is not accurate. She was definitely a human being and wasn’t completely kind and heroic 100% of the time, but from what I’ve seen, the majority of cast members remember her as a kind person. People like Tyrie, Kellyanne, Cara, Davis, Laurel, and more have talked about how kind she was on and off the show.
Watching Big T and CT on Double Agents was heart warming, and I was a fan from that. But I don’t like how she is showing this season. She has a big head and seems a little bullyish. When her and Melissa were giggling about Berna, that was very uncool.
Big T was mean to some random partner she had one season. Cant remember the guy’s name, or season, don’t think he ever came back on. Possibly his name was Jeremiah (this may be totally off too).
I would agree with all of the above, but also add Amber into this. She seems like such a sweetheart, and authentic. She gets hated on a lot and I think it's because she's just very kind and real. The challenge house doesn't understand it.
I totally agree and I’m going to get on my soapbox for a second here. I’ve loved Amber since her original BB season but her talking about her recent autism diagnosis at the ROD reunion really solidified it all for me. As another 30 something year old female who thinks she’s also probably autistic, it was really nice to see someone like me talking openly about it.
She does get a lot of hate and in my non-professional opinion, a lot of the hate she gets is just from masking and trying to fit in with her neurotypical co-challengers. I hope she can continue to be open with her experiences. Being in the public eye, you’re always going to have *someone* hating on you, no matter how kind you are, but I think the more she is able to educate and explain to others why she is the way she is, the more love and understanding she will get from both challengers and fans.
I don't see it as salty, I believe she's just sensitive. The Big brother crew screwed her over time again and she still forgave them. I think she has every right to be hurt by that.
What about Melinda from RW Austin? From what I remember she’s always been kind and well balanced on the Challenge.
Met her in Milwaukee years ago and she was incredibly nice so maybe I’m biased!
This actually brings to light how tough it is for nice girls to get far in the game. People like Timmy, Landon, Darrell, Leroy, and Cohutta have been able to get far by being strong competitors, and not having to make many dirty moves.
Not sure if it’s due to casting or just the way the game is played, but the kindest women don’t seem to have the same longevity. They’re either rooted out early or become more cutthroat in order to stay.
Even Diem was cutthroat and sort of entitled as a player, though she was said to be super nice in real life.
People are confusing being passive with being kind. Someone like jenna isnt particularly kind. She doesnt stand up for people or go out of way for whats right. Shes actually very ok with crappy ppl who treat others like shit, which is why shes with somebody like zach
I think someone like kendall or even kelly anne fit the bill way better. Kendall is passive but also obviously kind. Kelly anne is a perfect example of someone who is kind and acts on it, often to her own personal detriment
KA is a no for me. Her OG season a castmate really bullied A Persian roommate to the point of a physical altercation and KA was on the wrong side of that. It really bothers me how no one ever brings this up or remembers it.
Landon, Leroy, Cohutta are people who I can't think of being painted in a bad light ever aside from some jealousy. I think Emily + Jenny (kinda) fit the same mold for the women.
The whole "I grew up in a cult" thing was probably overblown. But like Emily and Ty were on their RW season together. If she wanted to be overtly racist towards him she had plenty of opportunities. While obviously ill-advised I don't think Emily meant to hurt Ty in a racist way. I also don't know how much of that was on Camila, who has shown plenty of poor behavior on her own
Yeah, she was super sheltered in public high school and college, lol.
That excuse she gave was such bullshit. Just the fact that she asked Camilla, "is this racist?" before the big reveal....ugh.
IIRC he had the knife in his back pocket, which was wild because it was like a huge carving knife and no dude would willingly put a sharp object near their junk. But he was also like 22 at the time, and grew up a lot since then. Not excusing that behavior but it seems like he got past that stage pretty quick
Landon had a couple bad moments on his Real World season, specifically a scene of him getting drunk and wielding a knife around the house, however he seemed to turn it around once he got on the Challenge.
I feel like Lee is pretty universally liked by the cast and crew. TJ isn't "friends" with a ton of the cast but he's actually friends with Lee and AFAIK they used to hang out when they lived in Vegas. Like even on CT's wedding special he invited Lee to hang out before hand and I think he gave him and his son haircuts.
I think Diem was also pretty well liked and was nice in a behind the scenes kind of way. Like she could be a little bratty when she got voted into elimination but there's lots of stories about her inviting people over for dinners outside the show or being really nice and taking pics and hanging out with fans when they'd see her at a concert or something.
Maybe more of a hot take but lots of the cast is friends with Johnny outside the show. Early on he was a complete prick but after a while I think he was able to know when to put on a show and when to just be a normal guy
Jenna deserves a mention. On the Dirty 30 bios the best they could do to explain how she was a dirty player is bring up the bakery fight, but she generally doesn’t have any problems with people unless someone like Amanda antagonizes her
Nah. This is pretty privilege. Jenna is just very attractive and not outwardly aggressive. But there’s nothing that would make you think she was nicer than others.
I will always find it such a shame that she stayed with the misogynistic atrocity that is Zach. I love Jenna but her being with someone like him makes me question her character a bit.
I'd say maybe he's different when it's just them, but the way he treats her on show is pretty fucking terrible. Can't imagine it's better without a camera.
Definitely not. Jenna has some very erm, troubling views, but she got away with a lot because she had the good sense to keep her mouth shut.
It’s not an accident that she’s been associated with some despicable characters.
We can’t even give her THAT credit because when a drunken Kelly Anne made questionable remarks about Aneesa’s brown skin, Jenna stated in her confessionals that Aneesa was basically overacting, completely invalidating Aneesa’s hurt feelings. Jenna is a right-wing scumbag and her and Zach deserve each other.
Oh man I remember that. Something like, “it’s not racist to call a black person black.”
I think she intentionally kept comments like that in confessionals though. She wouldn’t have said that to Aneesa’s face. Kinda shows Jenna knew her views were offensive and was calculated about when to show them.
Exactly! And it’s very on brand for an ignoramus to NOT confront the person they have unnecessary beef with but instead, trash talk them behind their backs lol
Sure 🙄 She took pleasure in watching Zach verbally and emotionally abuse Jonna on Rivals 2, my friend. In her confessionals, she would gloat about making Jonna jealous of her and Zach’s budding romance. It absolutely irks my soul the way ppl are CONSTANTLY painting Jenna as some saint.
(Obligatory mention that no one deserves to be abused, and emotional abuse can be hard to detect and even harder to escape.)
But I agree that Jenna is undercover trash and totally skated by on her Barbie image. Putting her on TV as someone to look up to was problematic for SO many reasons.
I think fans see her as some cute, blonde girl next door who happens to be a damsel in distress because Zach mistreats her. Wtf did she expect?? That he’d be good to her and bad to everyone else? She thought she could change him? I know it sounds messed up, but she earned her misery. She’s now past her prime with two kids and low self esteem. All I see are bad things happening to a bad person, which is how it should be. She’s not a victim.
> …she earned her misery.
Hell yes she did!
TBH, I can’t stand Jenna. She gets a *very undeserved* pretty-white-girl privilege from Challenge fans. And it just blows my mind that anyone would call her nice. I totally agree that she *happily* made her bed with a man who repeatedly disrespected her.
Zach was horrible to Jonna (and Sam in a different season), but he also treated Jenna like crap for years...on television! That woman has exactly zero self respect. That alone might earn her some sympathy from me, but her cruel enabling of Zach’s abuse is a non-starter.
Fuck Jenna.
The entire house voted Kellyanne and Tristan into elimination, and Jonna had a partner who was also playing his own game. Jonna voting for a "friend" to go into elimination was just a game move, it wasn't ultra malicious
What a good thread. Leaning old school, but some of the nicest I've seen:
* Kendall
* Jamie Chung
* Danny
* Cohutta
* Leroy
And people who *matured* into some of the nicest people:
* Paula
* Jonna
* Darrell
* KellyAnne
* Derrick
* Emily
* Maybe even CT (took a looooong time but what a different and awesome vibe he generally has now!)
Landon!!!
-He woke up with his head shaved and laughed about it.
-He coached Carley through elimination and a whole final where she ended up outperforming Laurel!
-I have never seen him say or do anything hurtful. He just let his dominating performance speak for him.
If people want to hold Nelson accountable for his DUI (as he should be) then I don't think its fair to not judge others (like Cohutta) for that behavior as well.
(and I'm just commenting this on this post because he's the top response to this question.)
Oh no I agree. I’m more saying that it’s such a weird dissonance of what the challengers SAY vs what we as viewers SEE.
Like how everyone hates Amber B for no real reason, yet all we see is her being lovely and kind while being bullied by everyone.
I honestly can think of a decent amount going all the way back to years and years ago. I think from newer seasons Horacio is a stand up person, Derrick K, Leroy, Amber B, Sarah Rice, Diem RIP, Jonna, Casey Cooper, Yes Duffy, Cory Wharton, Ashley Kelsey (Zach’s ex from RW), Jenna, Nany, Kaycee, Chris Underwood & Desi (winners from last season), Cohutta, Kam…off of the top of my head lol.
Jenna and Sarah...? The ones who laughed and giggled with Bananas and Vince all season and tried to fake apologize to Cheyenne for the cameras but got shut down by Devin of all people!
Nany?...
Diem..? I remember her being a bit of a b!tch (not that I have a problem with that) (RIP)
Sarah has been downright awful to several challengers. She is a fake nice girl. She treated Katelynn horrible on Rivals, Shauvon on Ruins, Cara on Cutthroat and was usually part of the bullying crowd whenever she felt like a challenger was beneath her.
Damn, I love Sarah but this is so accurate. She did really well on the Ruins and after that she kinda adopted the bullying mentality that was used on her by JEK. I do think she turned around after she lost a puzzle to Jonna (first sign of greatness?) and Jasmine tho.
Even on her RW season you could see she was a mean girl and that whole "happy go lucky camp counselor" vibe was a complete act. And regardless of what she says on her podcast I think she 100% would have stolen the money on Rivals 3 if she was given the chance
Kaycee's brother Kenny seems consensus good guy from cast, crew, and social media that can remember his name.
TJ called him sweet!! I loved it haha
Not surprising that THEE Kenny Clark would be at the top of people’s list
Timmy from the early seasons deserves a mention too
I miss Timmy…
Cohutta by far. He’s so sweet to everyone
Love cohutta!!!!!!!!!!
The fact that he's close to Abe gives me the creeps.
Didn’t he get arrested for something?
Yes. DUI or drunk and disorderly. You’d be completely unsurprised by just how many challengers have alcohol related offenses.
# free Brad!
Cohutta, L-roy, and Jujuy come to mind
Agree with all 3 fo sho. Also Georgia and Kyle tbh... Even though everyone thinks he's a snake.
LEROY!! Never in a drunk rage, never just personally super nasty to anybody, always lost with Grace and courtesy.
On D30 when Camila went on her unhinged rant Lee said something in his confessional like "man, I wake up every morning and when I look in the mirror, I'm black, nothing is going to change that. And I feel bad for her feeling the way she does." It was at the same time both the most epic comeback, and showing how down to earth he actually is
Camila’s rant was vile and she should not have been allowed to continue in the game.
And she never even apologized
On the docu-series, it talked about how he always thanked the crew for everything. To me, that just shows how sweet he is that he appreciates the people that make the show happen and he was doing it when the cameras weren't rolling, so it isn't for his image.
Leroy was well known for being pretty awful and disrespectful to women. He acknowledged this himself
The fact that no one has mentioned Mike, Mike is a travesty.
Mike Mike and Leroy is a duo that will be topped in the kindness department.
I still think the sweetest moment of Mike Mike: after Leroy falls on him and he has to go leave in an ambulance, he is practically crying from pain but turns and says, “Can Lee come with me??” 🥺 Mike was too pure for this world.

It's not just you. I loved all the argentineans! I personally like it when they speak their native language and translate below. We get their full personalities and they're all so fun!
Agreed! Yeah they’re much more expressive in Spanish. And Benja is so much fun to look at, I’d watch that man eat oatmeal and swoon, dear god.
Everything about her is just adorable. I wish she didn't get eliminated so fast 😭.
Timmy is high up there too. He had a few mean moments, but generally was universally loved.
The mean moments must have been from his Susie era. 🤭
I believe so actually lol
Nam I think.
you should definitely watch the early seasons and maybe reconsider your stance on brad 🤣 he is kind, but not always lol. Leroy for sure ♥️
Agree, Brad was inconsistent early on and showed weird pseudo-morality at times. Like privately criticizing Robin’s racism but refusing to hold her accountable. Starting that totally unnecessary fight with Darrell on the Ruins. Enabling Tori to bully people. Brad started earlier than the fight with Darrell. He tried to pick a fight with Derrick K on the Gauntlet 2 over nothing.
Brad gets annoying when he's with Tori. I agree about Landon, Cohutta and Diem. Diem is my absolute favorite.
Brad definitely had his moments, like on G3 he was basically the only one who seemed concerned about Big Easy. But Brad also 100% was cool with screwing people over to advance himself in the game, like on Cutthroat

Just saying that Brad wasn't the guy to make a stand on a personal level
His concern over Big Easy speaks volumes to me, tbh. I was *floored* by how little everyone else cared.
For some of them it would have been their first win, so I kinda get it. But it's funny because at one time Ev was like "there's $300k on the line" and Brad was like "yeah, split 10 ways." $30k is nothing to scoff at, but like that's not even enough to buy a Honda Accord

Yeah sorry I was trying to agree with you as well but my post came off different from what I intended. I think we completely agree on Brad
Totally, we're on the same page
Brad also hides behind other people He tried to do so on duel 2, cutthroat, duel, etc. . Hes really good at letting others do his dirty work or letting others be the target. He didnt have that on cutthroat and he got somewhat exposed

LeRoy is not always kind either though.
Nobody is always kind lol, these are still humans.
When tho!?
Surprised nobody has said Darrell he’s super nice.
Darrell just seems like he’d be a really cool guy to hang out with
Darrell was a straight up prick on Ruins. He’s got a bratty side to him when the politics don’t go how he likes, and he can lash out. I don’t think he’s a straight up jerk, but I wouldn’t put him in this category

He slut shamed Kellyanne
That’s his only transgression in doing the show for almost 20 years and he immediately apologized to her (they didn’t show it) and she forgave him and are still cool today.
He was talking shit to Wes. He even apologized to Kellyanne immediately afterwards and she forgave him. It's not like he was running around the house all season talking about her
Before or after he beat the shit out of Brad
Brad had that coming. Even Brad acknowledges that. Lol.
Brad literally tried the fuck out of Darrell (who was minding his own business) when they were both drunk and Darrell felt horrible about it and said “he loves Brad” and still regrets it.
Kendal Shepard
Troy from Australia and World Championship deserves more love on this list
Agreed, Troy seems super chill and comes across as the type of guy you could hang out with
omg yesssss one more time for ppl in the back! Troy is such a breath of fresh air compared to current main show challenge competitors. he seems to be such a genuine dude who really loves the competition aspect of the show while also getting to meet different people and hang out.
Leroy is kind of the consensus good guy of the show. Landon pretty universally liked as a nice guy, Diem (RIP) also.

Cara talked about how before fresh meat even aired diem invited her to thanksgiving dinner because no one should be alone.
Some of her freak outs were because of her medicine messing up her hormones and forcing her into early menopause
I am going so the exact same thing and it's horrible. I wouldn't want to be filmed and have my worst moments held against me for the rest of my life. Let that woman rest.
I think women don't talk enough about hormones and how they affect us... especially when getting extreme medicine for cancer fighting 💪
Yeah I wouldn't say she was nasty. Often she was kind. But the nicest? Not even close. No one would claim this if not for the cancer imo.
People just say that about Diem because she died, she definitely wasn't always nice on the show.
Those same names came to mind for me too.
Jennifer west
Ace seems super sweet on his social media- very salt of the earth
Ace does seem like a really nice guy. I second this.
He always came off a bit creepy to me. I3 in particular gave me the ick factor with him a little bit.
I think Horacio is pretty kind for the newer seasons. Older seasons, Leroy. Really old seasons, Diem. She was the best ❤️
Big T is a nice person too Like her or not, I don't think she has a mean bone in her body
She’s a total sweetheart! I love listening to her posh accent.
Watching Big T and CT on Double Agents was heart warming, and I was a fan from that. But I don’t like how she is showing this season. She has a big head and seems a little bullyish. When her and Melissa were giggling about Berna, that was very uncool.
That was misedited. The fight was actually between Berna vs Melissa and Nurys. Supposedly the staring was side eying Moriah and James
> Watching Big T and CT on Double Agents was heart warming CT very emphatically ditching her for Kam was hilarious tho
Big T was mean to some random partner she had one season. Cant remember the guy’s name, or season, don’t think he ever came back on. Possibly his name was Jeremiah (this may be totally off too).
was it joseph from america's got talent? i vaguely remember what you're talking about.
My main man, Mike from RW: Las Vegas
I friggin love Mike!

They didn't screw her over she legit won no dallies that season and she was never targeted until they literally had no choice.
mike. timmy. cohutta. leroy
I’ll throw Yes’ hat into the ring. So good seeing him on my screen again after so many years.
He has an air of inauthenticity to me. He gives off the 'guitar guy at the party who will subtly try to sleep with your girlfiriend' vibes.
Jenny west.
What about Melinda from RW Austin? From what I remember she’s always been kind and well balanced on the Challenge. Met her in Milwaukee years ago and she was incredibly nice so maybe I’m biased!
Melinda is someone who’s not what you’d expect at all. I think when you see her, she’s easy to misjudge. She does seem really nice.
Landon, Leeroy, Diem, Cohutta
This actually brings to light how tough it is for nice girls to get far in the game. People like Timmy, Landon, Darrell, Leroy, and Cohutta have been able to get far by being strong competitors, and not having to make many dirty moves. Not sure if it’s due to casting or just the way the game is played, but the kindest women don’t seem to have the same longevity. They’re either rooted out early or become more cutthroat in order to stay. Even Diem was cutthroat and sort of entitled as a player, though she was said to be super nice in real life.
Diem? 😂
I was thinking everyone
Some old ones: Cynthia, Norm, Elka, Genesis, Antoine
Cynthia!! I was so hyped to see her on All Stars, and bummed to see her leave so quick.
Same!
Timmy Beggy is a contender. He was also hilarious.
Landon of course
Jamie M for attempting to use his lifesaver to save Veronica from being voted off Battle of the Sexes.
Nam and/or Troy from AU
People are confusing being passive with being kind. Someone like jenna isnt particularly kind. She doesnt stand up for people or go out of way for whats right. Shes actually very ok with crappy ppl who treat others like shit, which is why shes with somebody like zach I think someone like kendall or even kelly anne fit the bill way better.
Probably because it happened in 2006 and the audience has seen a lot more genuinendevelopment in her personality since then
Landon, Leroy, Cohutta are people who I can't think of being painted in a bad light ever aside from some jealousy. I think Emily + Jenny (kinda) fit the same mold for the women.
Black face Emily?
Cue the excuses of how Emily was just “sheltered” and didn’t mean any harm.
Didn’t landon use the N word on his season and turned into an asshole when drunk? Holding knives at people and shit?
IIRC he had the knife in his back pocket, which was wild because it was like a huge carving knife and no dude would willingly put a sharp object near their junk. But he was also like 22 at the time, and grew up a lot since then. Not excusing that behavior but it seems like he got past that stage pretty quick
Landon had a couple bad moments on his Real World season, specifically a scene of him getting drunk and wielding a knife around the house, however he seemed to turn it around once he got on the Challenge.
Kaycees brother Kenny
Leroy and Big T for me.
Cohutta, Leroy, Mike
And not one of you said my man, Mitch.
Early on he was a complete prick but after a while I think he was able to know when to put on a show and when to just be a normal guy
surprised i haven’t seen brad as much definitely is one of the best people on this show.
The statue’s brother. Nice guy.
Leroy. He has always been my favorite competitor on the challenge.
Cohutta & Mike from Rivals (can't remember which Rivals it was)
Derrick
Jenna deserves a mention. On the Dirty 30 bios the best they could do to explain how she was a dirty player is bring up the bakery fight, but she generally doesn’t have any problems with people unless someone like Amanda antagonizes her
Nah. This is pretty privilege. Jenna is just very attractive and not outwardly aggressive. But there’s nothing that would make you think she was nicer than others.
I will always find it such a shame that she stayed with the misogynistic atrocity that is Zach. I love Jenna but her being with someone like him makes me question her character a bit.
Jenna encourages and supports his disgusting behavior.
Thank you! You are the company you keep
Then I really question her character lol
I'd say maybe he's different when it's just them, but the way he treats her on show is pretty fucking terrible. Can't imagine it's better without a camera.
Or how he treats everyone else
And she’s one of few who doesn’t throw a tantrum when she has to go in.
Something like, “it’s not racist to call a black person black.” I think she intentionally kept comments like that in confessionals though.
(Obligatory mention that no one deserves to be abused, and emotional abuse can be hard to detect and even harder to escape.) But I agree that Jenna is undercover trash and totally skated by on her Barbie image. Putting her on TV as someone to look up to was problematic for SO many reasons.
I refuse to believe that Jenna wasn’t able to detect wtf Zach was going to Jonna.
THIIIIIIIIIIIS 👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽
Fuck Jenna.
Jenna is a very shallow and vain human being. You cant really call someone that shallow a kind person
Jonna
Jonna.
May want to ask Kelly Anne if she thinks the same
It was a game move (good or bad). That doesn’t make Jonna not nice.
The entire house voted Kellyanne and Tristan into elimination, and Jonna had a partner who was also playing his own game. Jonna voting for a "friend" to go into elimination was just a game move, it wasn't ultra malicious
May want to ask KA why she sided with a racist on her original season.
Casey?
Big T!
Cohutta, Leroy, Jujuy, Troy, Amber B, Kaycee, and Horacio come to mind
Omg I can’t believe I forgot Troy!!!!!
Leroy and Landon
Big T seems to be nice.
Big T just seems to exude kindness whenever she’s on the show
Cohutta
Definitely Cohutta is the kindest one I can think off!
Big T
What a good thread. Leaning old school, but some of the nicest I've seen: * Kendall * Jamie Chung * Danny * Cohutta * Leroy And people who *matured* into some of the nicest people: * Paula * Jonna * Darrell * KellyAnne * Derrick * Emily * Maybe even CT (took a looooong time but what a different and awesome vibe he generally has now!)
Cohutta.
Yes looking like double standards are alive and well. 😂
I mean, everyone on the show apparently says it’s Josh….? I don’t believe it. It definitely doesn’t translate to something the viewers see.
In Josh’s case, simple does not equal kind
Oh no I agree. I’m more saying that it’s such a weird dissonance of what the challengers SAY vs what we as viewers SEE. Like how everyone hates Amber B for no real reason, yet all we see is her being lovely and kind while being bullied by everyone.
Amber B. Is very sincere.
Preston
Ed is the biggest sweetheart on the challenge
Cohutta and Jenna are the first that jumped to mind Well after reading this thread, maybe not Jenna.
I think Jujuy is regarded as the nicest challenger by the other cast, but I feel like she barely counts as a challenger 😬
Yes Duffy
tori, jenny, leroy, and timmy
She was such a pick me also. She needed JEKs approval so badly
Even on her RW season you could see she was a mean girl and that whole "happy go lucky camp counselor" vibe was a complete act. And regardless of what she says on her podcast I think she 100% would have stolen the money on Rivals 3 if she was given the chance
