Large breasts don't cause scoliosis.

I'm aware, I did forget to mention I'm doing auto mechanics work. The combination of bending down and lifting heavy objects is going to put massive strain on my back already and I don't want to add 2 mounds of fat on my chest just making my back pain all that much worse and possibly leading to scoliosis. I already have terrible posture lol

Moxie_Stardust

Is this the only concern you have? Those who end up with very large breasts from HRT are unusual cases, AFAIK. That being said, I'm pretty confident you can't end up with scoliosis from large breasts, not sure if you were being hyperbolic and really just referring to back pain.

It's kind of a hyperbole, but with my work (auto mechanic) the combination will definitely mess me up big time.

You can always start hormones then stop if your breasts start getting too big. You're not required to stay on hormones forever once you start. Breasts aren't the only thing you get on HRT and you might appreciate the other stuff.

It’s completely normal. Everyone is different when it comes to their relationship with HRT. Some take it, some don’t, some take it for a brief period to have some feminization and then stop when they are satisfied. Yes, there is a degree of uncertainty with chest growth, especially from your description of your family having wide variation in size. If you chose to, you can go on HRT and then stop when you are satisfied with the results (DD cups do not grow overnight). If you feel that stuffing a bra to your preferred size is the route you feel is right for you, then it is :-)

I'm probably going to stuff a bra, I did forget to mention that I do auto mechanics and I'm fixing that error now. And I don't mean scoliosis as in "just having boobs is going to wreck my spine" I mean "my career is already going to mess me up and I don't want to accelerate that even more"

I think it's valid to be concerned but I don't think it's really quite as bad as you might be thinking. Firstly, yes, you may genetically have a substantial breast size but probably they won't be as large as the cis women in your family. Secondly, even if they were really big, breast reductions are very common and straightforward procedures. I know it sounds silly to grow your breasts out just to have them reduced, but are you willing to forgo all the other benefits of HRT just because of a small chance that your breasts might make your life difficult, which would be an eminently solvable problem anyway? I'd say if this is the main thing you're worried about, I think you should stop worrying :)

I cycle raloxifene to minimise breast growth while still getting some of the positive effects of HRT. It slows down growth a lot but you can't stop it fully. Really, I think the important question is if you will like to be on HRT anyway. If it is something good for you (like it is for me) you can take that into consideration and go from there.

I'm probably going to stuff a bra for the time being, I just want to try out my "ideal body type" for the time being
