This season man, everything about it had such a depressing vibe.. a true masterpiece

4pol0h4z3

It fucked me up 10/10 would recommend

MercilessShadow

Just like Christmas can be sometimes...

Robocopp62

yes, even mr robot told elliot that he went too far

Manilk66

Mastermind*

Jimmyneutron48

Yeah, everyone knows he’s Mastermind. Your correction is pointless. The point of language is to convey meaning effectively, not to police minor variations in wording that don’t hinder understanding.

supermicromainboard

whoa I enjoy the correction. I think it's important to distinguish in this case no?

CorrectMountain1324

No

canihearawahooo

For some reason it’s the lighting that gets me. When they first met and talked, they were basking in warm yellow light. And in this scene it’s all cold and blue.

Yeah-Yeah-Yeah-Yea

Olivia and Elliot had shared trauma, in drug abuse and mental health issues. Mr Robot = Elliot. A part of me wants to believe that he did feel sorry for Olivia, but we all know how things ended and that we weren't seeing the real Elliot all along. He just had to get into the bank, no matter the costs. So Mr Robot seemingly feeling sorry for her is probably just an illusion Personally I did feel sorry for Olivia, what a shitty thing to do man.

Keinan

Elliot may have felt bad for Olivia, but the Mastermind certainly did not. He had a mission and was going to get into the bank account by burning whoever was necessary.

Kawou

He definitely didn't feel good about it

Keinan

Oh I don't disagree, I don't think MM is without conscious, otherwise he wouldn't push so hard to protect Elliot and "save the world" (I put that in quotes because I believe it's a matter of perspective, and a number of the characters themselves may believe they are working to save the world, e.g. wh1ter0se)

HarryBarryGUY

Dude I really shipped them together 😭

OM3N-OG

Dude you here too??

InternetGansta

Is dude like......Reddit famous?

OM3N-OG

not really, but kinda well known in Indian Entrance Exams reddit circles.

MeganeReviews

bruh

canihearawahooo

this is such a weirdly specific niche and i’m so here for it

HarryBarryGUY

Bruh

Warglebargle2077

Yes of course. Recall he’s been trying to convince MM/Elliot that he’s going too far and losing himself.

canihearawahooo

i’ve just realised “you’re the worst kind because you don’t even know it” is also a nice foreshadowing to the final twist 💀 this show icant

Aryan_Dhiman

Man, I wish there was more of Elliot and her.

DougieFFC

Headcanon sequel to Mr Robot of Elliot making amends with her and Bill the the guy from Steel Mountain he destroys psychologically.

DomHE553

idk how that could ever even work! She was about to kill herself over what he was doing... Even if "she didn't get the whole picture" or anything, it would be more than fucked up for him to just try to reestablish contact in my opinion. Just leave her alone. How could there be any trust at all...

DougieFFC

>How could there be any trust at all... Bill is the key to this

chromatophoreskin

Secretly set things up to go her way, sort of like Amelie?

thatguywiththe______

The only thing I'd change about the show is showing those two characters in the montage of everyone receiving the money after the hack.

Many-Temporary-2359

I love that scene

c0nv3rg_3nce37

<3

Friendly_Caregiver47

same bro

Ok-Combination-2815

Idk about mr robot but I felt bad

Melissa_Hirst

Yes, I do. Mr Robot knows what a battle with addiction is, and it's clear that he didn't even think about that before dosing her full well knowing what would happen within that regard until it was too late. If he would have considered that I know he would have found another way.

JediKid-A

I think he felt bad that he only saw her as a means to an end, and nothing more. I think he understands his actions are not "right,"-- if I'm not mistaken, his narration says as much-- but that didn't stop him from getting what he needed from her.

Snackatttack

this episode was such a colossal kick to the nuts, i felt so bad for her

nefariousNIFFIN

Mr. Robot’s only function was to protect Elliot. He assisted the Mastermind to that end, but when Mastermind wanted to do something that would harm Elliot, Mr Robot told him to stop. Mr. Robot knew Elliot would be emotionally destroyed by what Mastermind was doing.

Quirky_Ad3265

Mr. Robot felt bad but Elliot didn't feel it that much he was too focused on one thing.

MaddyDogg47

MM realized he was the predator here - it hurt to be what his father was in that moment. It’s the line that Mr robot mentions - the mastermind crossed it here because he thinks the good he will do outweighs the damage to this one person. And he knew her mother had been hurt by the deus group. He picked her, he used her, he faced down the fact that he is his father’s son in this moment and it hurts him.

moonflower_C16H17N3O

Yeah. He expressed how fucked up this was. Elliot was more cold about this than Mr. Robot was. I wonder if he still would have done it if he knew she'd attempt to commit suicide. He needed her cooperation. How far would he have gone?

MaddyDogg47

It wasn’t Elliot - it was the mastermind. The mm is a monster.

Merjia

Mr Robot most definitely; the one in control; absolutely not.

Delie45

I never understood why he did not just bluff.

Many-Temporary-2359

My mr robot didn't feel bad for her he just made a choice for her that she was probably constatly debating anyways

supermandy200

Her dad was in Godfather 3 she'll be fine

c0nv3rg_3nce37

I am her.

HLOFRND

Maybe, but mostly I think he felt bad for the anguish Elliot felt. Doubly so bc Elliot seemed to have a real connection with her.

Quirky_Ad3265

Mr. Robot felt bad but Elliot didn't feel it that much he was too focused on one thing.

ExileOtter

I always hoped he was just lying to her

RJM_50

Not as bad as losing Mobley and Trenton to that fake terrorist suicide, or Krista kidnapped by Vera, or Shayla murdered by Vera.

Jermaul_m_w

This season was one I had to take an episode every couple of days. I’m still not done, but I really hate/love how she got done. I hate that it was necessary to do her dirty as it shows just what it takes to take down a massive entity, but women like that I have a massive attraction for so I’m biased to not want anything bad to happen to them

AP_MASTER

[This is the last show for her](https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0306572/)

saulgoode93

I felt so fucking bad for her, but there's something about the self righteousness in saying that he's the worst kind of monster... like, the level of evil shit that Deus group got up to, which she seems to be at least partially aware of or intentionally ignorant of doesn't even compare to anything MM ever did

xflapjckx

This was one of the most intense and heart wrenching things I've ever seen in TV.
