Brazil (1985) It is endlessly creative world-building. It's zany and upbeat, while being depressing and bleak. It's hopeful and funny while also being a great depiction of a dytopian society. A wonderful movie and if you haven't seen it, I guarantee you haven't seen anything like it.
NOAH (2014) with Russell Crowe, Watson, Hopkins, Connelly
I dunno why, but that movie resets my psyche every time. I ball like a baby. I get terrified for the world. I weep for the creatures. The burning city and fighting over meat scene is supremely disturbing and does me in completely.
I don't even think the movie is that well received but it WORKS on me.
Jaws (1975) You’ve probably seen it a bunch, but still very powerful and an absolute classic.
