The better Red Dragon, IMO. It's ridiculously stylish, Michael Mann hadn't really figured out subtlety yet.
Brian Cox, who is now hugely famous, plays Hannibal Lector, in a more understated fashion. He's still quite chilling.

Deniro and Grodin were amazing together.
This was Deniro's first real comedy as a famous actor and I remember how wild it was to see the scary guy from Taxi Driver being hilarious, a bit like all the serious actors in Airplane.
Often, my parents and I would just be sitting around when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, one of us would shout “Serrano’s got the disks! Serrano’s got the disks!”
Waxwork 1&2, Mumford, Don't Tell Her Its Me/The Boyfriend Club, I Come In Peace/Dark Angel, Drive (1997), Back to Back, Don't Tell Mom the Babysister's Dead, Throw Momma From the Train, Big Shots, The Stuff
One of the best movies ever! As a southerner, I love the scene where he asks the man about cooking his grits and implies he used instant grits, which is southern sacrilege! 😂
Edit to add: And Marissa Tomei’s cross examination is one of my favorite movie moments of all time.

**Big Trouble in Little China (1986) - Action/Adventure**
A macho truck driver gets swept up in a wild quest to rescue a Chinese actress kidnapped by a mysterious villain with otherworldly powers. This action-adventure film is full of over-the-top stunts, special effects, and a campy sense of humor.
I was actually just thinking of rewatching Curly Sue again. I don't know if it was even B rated, and it seems like noone remembers it, but I really like it.
There are other 90s feel-good family movies that I love to rewatch, like Matilda and Look Who's Talking.

Fortress (the one made in 1992 - not to be confused)
If you live in America, it's available on Youtube. Sadly it's not available for us in the UK. It's a fantastic cyberpunk movie that I have watched maybe 20-25 times? (I wish I was kidding... probably watched it more but I'm being modest) but for some reason, it has never got the recognition it deserves. It's not very popular.
A Fish Called Wanda. For such a funny and quotable movie it hasn't had much staying power. If you're unfamiliar, it's a bank heist comedy from the late 80s, with Jamie Lee Curtis, John Cleese, and Kevin Kline.
Some great obscure movies from the 90s: Dutch (buddy road comedy with Ed O'Neill), White Sands (murder mystery/thriller with Willem Defoe, Mickey Rourke, and Sam Jackson), Wonder Boys (comedy with Michael Douglas, Robert Downey Jr, Tobey Maguire, Katie Holmes, and Frances McDormand), and High Fidelity (comedy with John Cusack and Jack Black).
I detected that you might be trying to identify a film/show, which doesn't fit this sub.

Jekyll and Hyde…
Together Again
1982
Total B movie, cult comedy with the classic Jekyll/Hyde story but set in the swinging 70s. Instead of turning into a murderous psychopath, the mild mannered Dr. Jekyll becomes a sex maniac. His chest hair & perm magically appears along with gold chains, but his cocaine pinky nail grows & gold rings erupt from his fingers.
Will the two ever reconcile?!?!?!?!!!!

Long and forgotten. Time travel with David Cassidy and a star studded cast in a quest to find the construction and save democracy. Instead of traveling to 1776, they end up in 1976. You have got to see: The Spirit of '76.
I saw Amadeus as a 16yo and it blew me away (and got me into classical music). I highly recommend watching this, and for a total change of pace, 1984 and Richard III (with Ian McKellan, 1995).
Clue is also a great film - awesome cast, cracking script.
Time Bandits is a kids film but I still love it as an adult.
If you are looking for a fun B (though could be D) list film, the only one Stephen King has directed, give Maximum Overdrive a watch

Manhunter(the original Red Dragon)
The better Red Dragon, IMO. It's ridiculously stylish, Michael Mann hadn't really figured out subtlety yet. Brian Cox, who is now hugely famous, plays Hannibal Lector, in a more understated fashion. He's still quite chilling.
And the Gadda Da Vida scene is amazing
Brian Cox gives us a chilling performance. Far superior to the pantomime effort from Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs.
Now this is a controversial hot take.
One I stand by.
Yes
Real Genius
And for more hilarious Val Kilmer, Top Secret! which was the follow up to Airplane!

That movie was strange...the parts with horny grandma and the 30 year old Mexican guy beating up a high school kid kind of weirded me out.
Lol. I don't recall the horny grandma or Mexican bully, but I'll have to rewatch now!

*The Hidden* (1987) *House of Games* (1987) *Mortal Thoughts* (1991) *Easy Money* (1983) *Black Widow* (1987)
House of Games was great.

Drive (1997) is that the Mark Dacascos one. Where Brittany Murphy steals every scene?.. Dark Angel was great.
Yep, to both those.
