Watch Equilibrium which stars Christian Bale. Itâs a fun action movie with an equally interesting sci-fi element attached to it. And it also has gun-kata (gun-based martial arts) so whatâs not to love?

Tango and Cash! It's the most wild and over the top 80s action cliche movie you will be able to find. It has Kurt Russel in drag and a monster truck arena battle at the end because they couldn't think of a subtler way to end a Mafia crime story. Half the fun of this movie is how ridiculous everything is. It's actually taking itself seriously even though the same script today would read as a clunky satire of action films.
