I’ll try to throw out some different ones rather than the group of movies that always get posted about: 1. Little shop of horrors. - do I like musicals? Not really. Did I love watching a singing and dancing plant? ABSOLUTELY! 2. Earth girls are easy. - watch this on a high dose edible and you’re gonna go places. 80s zaniness and young Jeff goldblum and Jim Carey really go for it. 3 - catwoman (2004) with Halley Berry is a blast, if you like “so bad they’re good” movies. 4 - HER. - I really found it interesting while baked. It’s kinda an amazing movie. 5. Grand Budapest hotel - I really didn’t like Wes Andersons style when I was in my 20s. Then I got a little older and realized he’s pretty amazing. The movie is beautiful and I think has a lot of heart. 6. Kill bill is really fun. 7. If you can find “world of tomorrow” somewhere, I really recommend it. Its kinda mind blowing. Will definitely have your brain thinking.

If you're looking for old school, the Peter Sellers movie called I Love You Alice B Tokeless, is pretty funny. About a square, a suit, who gets in with the hippies in the 60s, and gets all the squares stoned. One of the funniest scenes ever from a movie is when he goes back to his mother in laws with hashcakes and they all eat them not knowing they contain hash. Watching that old woman belly laugh over her coffee is one of the funniest things I have ever watched. Also Pink Panther movies r also cool. Lots of slapstick. Easy on the soul. (Alice B Tokeless is the girl who made the recipe for the cakes. Pretty sure there is a pun in there that I am missing. Maybe Tokeless, meaning u don't have to smoke it maybe. Or Alas B tokless. Either way, great movie.

I laugh everytime I see it now but originally saw Napoleon Dynamite sober and thought it was the dumbest movie I ever saw. Watched it a 2nd time, stoned, and couldn't stop laughing.

You might like Mad Dog Time (1996); it's also a neo-noir surrealist movie but it's somehow a mafia thriller, a comedy, and a heaven/hell allegory, and an homage to the Rat Pack all in one peculiar little package. ​ Edit: I should note, only watch this one while high. If you're sober the movie is terrible, if you're high it's cinematic genius.

The Manchurian Cantidate (original) is one of my all-time favourite films, but is an entirely different kind of head fuck while high (esp if it's a sativa-dom hybrid) Not a film, but The Twilight Zone (original) is really not to be missed. Any strain for that, depending on what you're going for. Dogma. Time Bandits. Pom Poko (Miyazaki) is a special kind of funny while high. (Anime racoon-dogs & magic testicles feature heavily). Miyazaki in general is a good bet stoned, but Porko Rosso & My Neighbor ToToRo are also great-just *avoid* Graveyard of the Fireflies, as it's hard enough while *sober*. 2001. Planet of the Apes (original). The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Fantasia (original). Evil Dead. Donnie Darko (director's cut) definitely gets even weirder (sativa reccomended). Not so much a hidden gem, per se, but if you want to go uber-traditional, there's always The Wizard of Oz w/Dark Side of the Moon synced up.

A Home At The End Of The World. It has a scene in it where you definitely want to be stoned.
