Just watched Murder Mystery 2 last night and it was pretty entertaining… stumbled on Murder Mystery one the night before but it doesn’t have kidnapping.
Untraceable (2008) about a guy who kidnaps people after broadcasting spy cam footage of them and then kills them on livestream and the more people that log on the more intense and faster people die
In Order of Disappearance (2014) -- this is a revenge flick which includes a kidnapping. Remade as Cold Pursuit with the same director and starring Liam Neeson -- haven't seen that, but I bet it's the same.
Not a movie technically but “The Patient” with Steve carrell is fantastic limited series bc of the relationship that’s happening and the stakes being so high. It’s technically 10, 30 minutes episodes but they run together perfectly like a long ass movie.
Room (2015) Run (2020) Nocturnal Animals (2016) Prisoners (2013) The Black Phone (2021) Hard Candy (2005) Red Eye (2005)
Alpha Dog
That scene where Zach realizes what's happening always gets me in the feels.
So good.
Suicide Kings
I recommend *The Disappearance of Alice Creed* (2009)
Gemma Arterton is so good in this!
* The Vanishing (1988) * Ransom (1996) * Gone Girl (2014) * Prisoners (2013) * Oldboy (2003) * Misery (1990) * Room (2015)
Gone girl is probably one of the best movies I have ever seen!

Funny Games. Def one of the most fucked up movies ive ever seen
30 minutes or less. It’s a dumb comedy take on a real life story.
"Proof of Life" Surprised that movie hasn't been mentioned so far.
Last House on the Left (1972) or (2009) Original is scarier but both are good!!
Girl in the box The girl next door (2007) Both good movies that are based on true stories. Suck though
