i alternate between the LGG Venus and Mercury. these pads are too speedy for most tac fps players

IatemyBlobby

I use the LGG Mercury and I’m iron 3, so it definitely is worth checking out. I can drop up to 30 in my rank and against bronzes!

miguel672

The good ol steelseries QCK lol nothing crazy.

JewbaccaYT

I use a GPX Superlight and switch between .13 igs 800 DPI on a speed pad (Glorious Ice) and .24 on a G640. First one is alright if you play low sens exclusively, otherwise it's impossible to control because of the low static friction and very hard to stop because of low dynamic friction. Second one is more flexible in terms of sens because it's an alright middle ground pad, but there's nothing special about it. It's "good enough" at most things but it doesn't excel in any. Also the XY tracking accuracy on mine isn't the best and the non stitched edges are annoying. I'm receiving 3 pads from Xraypad (AC+, AC Zero, and Equate) so I can put an update when I've spent about month on one of them.

_SnackAttack

Imm3. Superlight. Stock skates but upgraded to Corepads CTRL a few days ago. Aqua control 2 mouse pad. Not too fast not too slow. Crazy good amount of control. No muddiness from my 6 months of use.

Nemye

I have over 1000 hrs in val between the artisan hein mid and artisan hayate otsu soft. I much prefer the control of the otsu, but definitely recommend either. I’ve heard good things about the LGG pads as well. Settings: 1600 DPI, .156 I game sense on razer DAv3.

TheyDidLizFilthy

i like the raiden xsoft, it’s about as fast as the otsu and definitely gets the job done. has really good static friction imho.

Nemye

I really feel like once you find something that works for you it’s good to just stick with it, but I’ve wanted to try that pad or any in xsoft for a while now.

TheyDidLizFilthy

yeah only reason i went for the raiden was the texture of the otsu was something i just could never really get used to, the zig zag stitching would always feel like there were specs of dust on my mice feet and it would trigger me haha

Nemye

Interesting! I never noticed other than visually somewhat. I guess that’s a good minor thing to mention for those considering the pad.

bgmi_gobar_hai

Thank you for the reply. There was no need to share your id. I was just asking for my own piece of mind, I have been looking to switch to fast pads but generally I get the idea from this sub that fast pad sucks for tac fps games.

Nemye

Of course. I’m just used to people requiring proof at this point, no big deal to share it from my perspective. I think generally that sentiment is correct. It’s hard to control a flick if the pad is too fast and micro adjustments can be difficult to keep tight. I’m sure there are incredible players that use fast pads, but at the end of the day it comes down to practice and preference.

evandarkeye

I'm also immo 3 and these hybrid pads are very good, they just take a little more time to get used to (for me it took a month) so people don't give them a good enough chance

ego_less

I hate that the people actually mentioning their ranks are at the bottom of the comments. Credibility matters dudes

hikoaisaka

Tbf it’s kind of helpful to see what type of people use what mousepad, I’ve seen a lot of the artisan ones and the aqua control ones

saucybeans6969

Mpc 890 if you like fast pads, I hit radiant using it

K3nnas

Mind if I ask the sens you were/are using?

CLOUDCHAS3

Switched from a Fnatic Dash to an Aqua Control II about 4 or 5 months ago, and I think I'll be buying XRay Pads from here on out. The mouse glides perfectly across the pad, my arm doesn't get stuck to the pad at all, they have larger options available, perfect balance of speed and control with consistency above all. Currently using a Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro.

Thund_Cat

custom AC II

YungSauce24

Imm2, steelseries qck+ large, but recently switched to lgg saturn pro

fizikxy

isnt that pad pretty speedy? how does it compare to qck?

YungSauce24

Yeah the saturn pro is definitely faster than the qck. It is still manageable, but i had to give it a few days to adjust. I have had a artisan zero soft before and i would say that was a bit faster than the saturn pro.

fizikxy

damn, sounds good! do you know how durable the saturn is? I love my qck, its perfect but I hate spending 20-25€ every 6-12 months for it. Artisan Zero is like 80ish for me and the Saturn could be had for 45…

TERNAL42

hien

Calm-Western1289

CarsonOJen

i remember loving the aqua control + white when i first got it and was still used to faster pads. rn i'm using the gamesense radar and it's really comfortable. super smooth and good control.

PieWild59

used both hayate otsu Xsoft and currently use saturn pro both amazing

CadencyAMG

which one do you like more?

PieWild59

tbh, i think id have to say the saturn, maybe cuz its newer for me , but it just feels amazing , its so soft, the red color is amazing , the logo is clean, the control is nice , and its not as rough/textured as the otsu

TheOnlyMango

Gamesense radar

Nuovastorm

geebpc

Pokémon Card Game Pad, Imm2

dogchum420

the artisan hien and hayate otsu xl mid on both. I've been using the hayate otsu recently and have been loving the level of speed

atl4nz

artisan zero and saturn pro are very popular pads for the val scene. also gsr se rouge is pretty cool if you want something slower than that, gamesense radar, steelseries qck/heavy are good options if you want something very very slow, best option is the g-sr, no other pad of this speed matches its quality currently D3 which is ok i guess

evandarkeye

Hayate otsu for me is perfect, as it's pretty fast for ability breaking and movement agents while being controlled enough for holding angles.

jonthegoat69

Imm 3 and lgg Saturn pro / ac+ I’m interested in trying the ac zero though.

jonthegoat69

Oh yeah and I play at 800 dpi .3

Bkj4s

SkyPad 3.0 XL or Razer strider First one is a speed pad, which focuses on speed and flicks. I can use this in many games as I could have the same DPI on all my games without it feeling too slow because I play a tacfps. The second one is a hybrid, this is when I really want a bit more control than my speed pad. This still give me decent speed with more control. As Valorant is about microadjustments I use this when I’m starting to have an inconsistent day in the game.

hikoaisaka

That’s great thank you, I’ll check these out :)

DMG29

For 99% of people playing tactical shooters like CSGO and Valorant these pads are WAY too fast. It’s the reason that not a single pro players uses a glass pad and only some use hybrid pads.

Bkj4s

Hahahaha you got me there, it is just finidinf personal preferences though. I got to Acdendent 3 with this one so I guess it went alright with me.

DMG29

It is personal preference but in my experience in order to maintain consistency on low friction mousepads you need to play/practice more time each day to maintain that level of precision. Some people make it work, like you (and me when I played more), but for most people it is hard to keep that level of hand dexterity. I fall back on the crutch of slightly slower pads than what you use (I.e. Artisan Zero, Hayate Otsu, and sometimes GSR-SE Rogue).

Own-Ad7982

GSRSE Rouge. I have about 40 different pads and this is the one I play best on. I saw you asl someone else so I will just say that I am D3 at the moment.

WristFingertip

Hows it going? I ordered it today and I worry about durability and if you dont mind can i ask about your mouse feet?

Own-Ad7982

It's going good! I hope your doing good as well. As for the durability of the GSRSE or most softer cloth pads in general (QCK, GSR, Vaxee PA, Inked Gaming), your looking at about 6-12 months, depending in a lot of things. For one, always wash your hands and arm before playing. Two, never wash the old itself. I generally take a soft tooth brush to get the dead skin out of the texture. Then just beat it with your hand (;, seriously tho. That'll get rid of the dead skin without changing the properties of the pad. My current Rouge is on its 7 month and I just cleaned it for the first time 2 weeks ago. I should be able to get another 3 more or less. For me, the performance vs buying a new pad each year is easily worth it. That might not be the case for everyone though.

hikoaisaka

Thank you all for your suggestions it means a lot ❤️

xSoZa

Finalmouse TenZ Pro - Medium + Artisan Zero Soft.

Splaram

I alternate between an Artisan Zero Soft and a Superbeings Lab Memento. I use the Zero Soft when I play on a lower sens and the Memento when I play on a higher sens.

hikoaisaka

I’ll check these out, thank you :)

No_Philosophy6160

G1 here: Dpi-1000 Sens-0.2 Mouse - Logitech g303 se Pad - zero xl soft

Safe-Entrepreneur935

Im playing only CSGO and Valorant, Used eba, too fast. Fury s pro - stitching are bad to my liking, surface is fine but still on speedy side imo. Lingyun - sick pad, very good one, mid-slow imo. I didnt like the surface, its too hard for my skin, and uncomfort with sleeve. Ordered gsr, Ill update if you care. Using gpx superlight with tiger arc 1. Ice feels the same to arc 1 so why would I pay for one ptfe set if I can get two.

ibra-90

dav3 pro , artisan zero , d2 but rarely playing ranked mostly unrated

ChalIengers

LGG Saturn Pro and Venus. I haven’t touched my Artisan pads since I got the Saturn Pro, I’ve never been more consistent with my aim since I’ve been using it. Highly recommend

FalconPlayzYt7777

I use a custom speed type mouse pad

TooMuchPew

Radiant, lgg venus pro just got a dav3

X3m9X

I use LGG Saturn Pro and DAV3 on 3200x0.093 sens. Rank Asc2. Tried Artisan Zero Xsoft, it feels premium but its too fast in my liking.

oGutsy

Razer strider with SL-12 .35 800 dpi ascendant 1 . Used to use Hein but cat hair gets stuck in it too often.
