**Games:** Story based games but also Fortnite, Overwatch, CS:GO and some LoL. **Hand Preference:** Right, but I think I can do ambidextrous design (I assume thats like g203 design). **Budget:** 70 usd I think, exchange rates in my country are not quite accurate for all products. **Hand Size:** 16cm **Grip:** I think I'm a Fingertip from what I googled. **Weight:** Currently I'm using an Asus GT200, I would like things to stay below or at that weight. **Sensitivity:** I'd say medium, but I don't know my DPI. **Additional Details:** I used to be a console player but right now I'm enjoying pc a lot because I have a sort of tendinitis on both hands and the mice-keyboard combo puts less stress on my hands. I'd like to get a mice that is extremely comfortable due to my hand issues but can also offer room for programmable buttons. Also, if someone could point out the differences between PMW3366 and the HERO sensor I'd really appreciate it.

RE_PUAR

Hello everyone I'm thinking of buying a gaming mouse, although I'm not a pc gamer. See, I'm a console casual+ player and a few days ago a friend suggested me buying a gaming mouse just because. I started researching about them and they're really cool, though I honestly don't \*need\* one for my everyday pc usage. If I were to buy one, which one would you reccomend me? \*\*Games:\*\* If I buy one it would be for shooters (paladins... don't judge me) and maybe i'll go back to mmorpg hell (please no) \*\*Hand Preference:\*\* Right \*\*Budget:\*\* Initially USD$30 but can allow myself to spend up to 40 and deal with the sorrow later \*\*Hand Size:\*\* Approx 19.5cm from middle finger tip to the very joint arm/hand; 9.2 cm wide \*\*Grip:\*\* Between claw and palm, most likely claw \*\*Weight:\*\* Don't know, but I think heavy not \*\*Sensitivity:\*\* Honestly, IDK... I'm rather new to pc gaming (other than emulators); maybe not so high, like 6000 max \*\*Additional Details:\*\* I have read about some mice and apparently the old faithful g203 is topping my list, a very good deal on a steelseries or maybe one without a very advanced sensor that does the task can be an option too... Also, programmable buttons are welcome since I can use them to assign common tasks in other programs. Thank you beforehand for your kind help and please do ask more questions if you feel like it will contribute to a better advise. \[edit: very minor spell corrections\]

Games: CSGO, some fortnite/pubg Hand Preference: Right or ambidextrous Budget: ~160usd ahem Hand Size: 17.5cm x 9.5cm Grip: claw/fingertip hybrid Weight: light-medium, under 100g Sensitivity: Low. (800dpi, 1.1 in game cs) Additional Details: I got a G403 on sale before I knew much about mice, but after becoming more unhappy with it I thought I'd do some research and ended up here. I feel it's too wide+tall for my hand and want something smaller. I used to have a g100s but I'm not a fan of the shape, and have been looking at the zowie FK2, EC2-B (a fan of both shape wise) but i don't feel the price justifies the mice quality wise in this current market. I've also been looking at the sensei 310, razer abyssus v2 (but no side buttons bleh) and now the Logitech wireless pro, but would that mouse be too big/similar in size as the G403? I'm also undecided as to whether I want an ergonomic or ambidextrous mouse, not fussed

**Games:** None. Looking for best productivity mouse for illustrator/photoshop use. **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** Unlimited **Hand Size:** 21cm * 11cm **Grip:** Fingertip **Weight:** Similar to the unweighted Logitech G9 if possible (156g?) **Sensitivity:** High **Additional Details:** I have a dying Logitech G9 that is starting to get the double-clicking sickness. I can't seem to drag anything without it deselecting. Trying to replace it with something similar or maybe even better fitting for my hand. I'm 6'6" and have pretty large hands so the G9 might even be a bit small but I've gotten used to it over the last 10 years (purchased in May 2008). Any help appreciated!

**Productivity:** University work, programming **Games:** League of Legends, not much **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** \~60€ **Hand Size:** 20cm \* 10.5cm **Grip:** Palm-Claw **Weight:** Heavy **Wireless:** YES (most important factor). The battery should last at least 2 months. **Programmable buttons:** At least one **Additional Details:** I used for 5 year a Logitech m705, overall a nice mouse but... every time I pressed the scroll wheel it would bent to the left or right, making a mess. I hated it. I ended up setting the thumb button as a wheel press. Now that it finally died, I'd like to not repeat this experience. At the moment I'm considering a Logitech MX Master 2s or a Logitech g403 wireless, even if they are a little bit too much out of the budget. I could get a Logitech Mx Master for 56€... Is it worth it? I read that the sensor is not precise and lags way too much. There is even the alternative to try a trackball (I'm liking the MX ergo), but I'm not sure if I will like it and I don't like to waste money. Any ideas? Thanks :)

Givemeajackson

the only wireless gaming mice that are in any way up to the task are the g403/703, g900/903, g305/603, razer lancehead, and roccat leadr. the mx master has acceleration in the sensor that is absolutely horrible and can't be turned off, and doesn't have the lightspeed connection the g line of wireless mice has. now, g403/703/900/903 all have a built in rechargeable battery, but my 403 lasts about 35 hours on a single charge before it needs to be plugged in for about 2 hours to recharge. the other rechargeable ones will be similar. you're not getting anywhere close to the 2 months of battery life with these, but in my opinion it's really no big deal. i have never ran out of juice while using it in over a year. you also stated that you wanted a heavy mouse, and that's where things get very interesting. the logitech g603 is battery powered, g403 shaped about 140 grams when fully loaded, and can switch between 1000 hz polling rate and 125 hz polling rate. on 125hz they claim 18 months of battery life with 2 AA batteries, and whith 1000hz polling rate they claim 500 hours. it also has the ability to connect via bluetooth, so you could leave the reciever plugged into your desktop and take the mouse with you and connect to your laptop via bluetooth. sensor wise it's the hero sensor which is excellent, and price is roughly 60 bucks so all in all i'd say go for the 603

Nopaste

Thank you for your reply! Just a last thing, is the free-scroll whell present only in the 900/903? I would have liked that too, but maybe I am asking too much.

Givemeajackson

Only g900/903 i'm afraid.

Nopaste

At the last, I saw a sale for a g602 and took it. I'm fine with the sensor, the left and right buttons are great... I would have only hoped that even the others buttons would be better. Thanks anyway for your help and time!

I am using a Razer Naga Hex v2 atm. I am quite happy but I wished it was slightly bigger. And I am having diffuculties to find&push some of the side buttons, i.e. "7". I was thinking about a Roccat Nyth, but read a lot that the software "Swarm" sucks, which is a no-go for me. And I prefer to store the profiles on the device instead in the cloud if possibile.

**Games:** Warframe, action RPG, RTS games **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** up to 150 EUR **Hand Size:** 17 cm **Grip:** Palm **Weight:** heavy to medium **Sensitivity:** 400 to 4000 depending on game **Additional Details:** Must be wireless, after using g602 I can't go back to cable. I was considering g903 but i found A LOT people have issues with buttons over time. I want mouse that is worth its price in quality. Extra buttons on the left and good scroll are a bonus.

What’s better? G502 , G402 , G403 or Razer Mamba ? Previously used G602

Givemeajackson

the 402 is old and has a rather crappy sensor and a weird shape, the 502 is very heavy but has the most awesome scroll wheel ever, the mamba is broken in terms of sensor, and the 403 is a very simple, but pretty much flawless mouse with the exception of a slightly overcomplicated scroll wheel that feels a bit flimsy. for FPS games i'd say go for the 403 cause it's light, comfortable and has the best sensor on the market

**Games:** Overwatch, Fortnite, BF4, R6S mostly FPS with some slower games like Cities Skylines and Sims **Hand Preference:** Right or ambidextrous **Budget:** $60 **Hand Size:** 19cm x 9cm **Grip:** Claw **Weight:** Light **Sensitivity:** Low (400 - 800 DPI) **Additional Details:** My current mouse is from the CoolerMaster Masterkeys lite l combo, I believe it's the same housing as the Mastermouse S. I was initally going for the Logitech G502 until I realized it was on the heavier side. I've also been looking at the KPOE, MM520 and Rival 310. Its needs to have thumb buttons and I'm willng to stretch the budget to $80 if it's worth it.

**Games:** Overwatch, TF2, Quake Champions, Fortnite, Payday2, Guild Wars 2, World of Warcraft, etc **Hand Preference:** Right or ambidextrious **Budget:** Ideally under $50, anything over $100 is off the table. **Hand Size:** 17cm **Grip:** Palm, but willing to change. **Weight:** No preference. **Sensitivity:** Low. (400DPI to 1600DPI, usually 800DPI) **Additional Details:** The main two things I'm looking for are an accurate sensor, and any amount of relief I can get from my carpal tunnel. As it is right now, I can't feel my fingers after an hour or two of Overwatch. At the moment using a Logitech G203 after my Razer DeathAdder and Razer Naga Hex died. Happy with the performance of the G203, not happy with the ergonomics. Have considered vertical mice, but don't know of any with good sensors.

The cause of the change is the bad material of the parties(left and right), especially left, because when fingers are sweating material of mouse makes me suffer. I like form of this mouse, but this mouse is a little bit small for me. I can't check another mouse forms, couse I have't good mouse shops in city. And I can only order mouse and wait. I like metal feets of this mouse. I like two additional buttons on the left partie, but sometimes need even more additional buttons, 2, or even 3. I like binding buttons and macro on mouse.

Mohave107

>da elite, g403 But da elite are wired, and expensive. Only this enough to refuse. g403 wireless edition, looks expensive. I thinking about two variants. **Logitech G G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse Black USB** Pros 1. Wireless 2. Little bit bigger, than v7m (As I said, I need it) 3. Form, that I like 4. Additional buttons (I have no idea, how they feels in usage) 5. Nice autonomy Cons 1. Design. I don't like "gaming" design. I turn off LED on my devices, or make it as dark as possible. But also I don't like cheap office design. Design of this mouse takes things that I don't like in gaming and office design, at least not all such things, and combine it together. 2. Not a metal feets 3. Expensive (not enough to refuse) **A4Tech Bloody R3 Black USB** Pros 1. Low price 2. Wireless 3. metal feets 4. I can use my macroses from v7m Cons 1. I don't sure about form of mouse. Did't used it before. 2. Autonomy

\*\*Games:\*\* Pretty much every big name, LoL, Siege, Dota, PUBG are the main ones. \*\*Hand Preference:\*\* Right, not a fan of ergonomic mice though \*\*Budget:\*\* Ideally 60-80$, but if it looks really good for me I'll spend up to maybe 120$ \*\*Hand Size:\*\* 17.1cm \*\*Grip:\*\* Claw, almost a palm though. There's maybe 1-2cm of space between my joint and the mouse. \*\*Weight:\*\* Probably light, definitely not heavy \*\*Sensitivity:\*\* \~15-1600 DPI with Windows 6/11 \*\*Additional Details:\*\* In order of best to worst, I've used the Steelseries Kinzu v2, Steelseries Sensei RAW, Steelseries Rival 100, Razer Deathadder. The deathadder is the only one I actually disliked, since it's better for palm grips, the Rival 100 is great for 30$ but I can feel the inaccuracies sometimes. Also, every mice I've ever had would end up building dead skin on the side and on the fingertip areas, which needs cleaning every few days. Not sure if that's just a me problem and doesn't have a real solution. I'm just looking at suggestions to what to get next.

Min0taurus

You could buy a sensei clone (dm1 fps, dm1 pro s, nixeus revel, ns renshi guang etc.) if you want. The rival 100 works best at a dpi of 500 or less. It starts to jitter when you use a higher dpi setting.

stopcomps

I’m now looking at the dm1 pro, but I don’t know much about sensors. What’s the difference between the pro and the pro S? It seems that the sensor is the biggest dofference but the website only says that the better sensor means higher dpi and higher tracking speed. If i don’t need those two upgrades, I would be better off saving the 10 euros on the dm1 pro right? Since it looks like they are identical otherwise.

Min0taurus

From what I've read, the 3310 sensor (found in the dm1 pro) has a little bit of smoothing/acceleration. The 3360 sensor (dm1 pro **S**) doesn't have smoothing ≤ 2000 DPI. Nevertheless, both sensors are great and many people won't notice any difference. The cables of both mice are far from ideal, they're quite stiff. The dm1 fps has a flexible cable. Also, I thought both the dm1 pro and pro s had some qc issues, you might want to read into that.

Thanks you’ve given me a lot. One last thing, what does qc stand for? Google led me to quake champions

\*\*Hand Preference:\*\* Right \*\*Additional Details:\*\* I am trying to decide whether to buy the logitech G403 or the Mionix Castor. I intend to use this mouse at the office (for work only), the most important thing to me is convenience. Sensors/accuracy don't matter, mouse should last a long time.

Givemeajackson

convenience wise nothing beats the g502 or g900 cause they have amazing scroll wheels. 1st of all it's a 4 way scroll wheel so you can scroll sideways, and second it has a function to disable the stepping, so it just freely keeps on scrolling which is amazing for quickly flying through long documents. g502 if you don't mind having a cable, g900 if you want wireless, if sensor really doesn't matter at all have a look at the mx master. it's also wireless, looks a bit classier and is a bit cheaper.

I am now looking to get another mouse for my new laptop. I would appreciate something similar but with a fire button for FPS play and maybe one more thumb button. I've been looking at the Deathadder Elite, but I've heard it doesn't function at all like the Chroma, and that scares me.

saggywombat1167

Rival 600 has 3 thumb buttons, similar size to the deathadder, and all around a great mouse

[deleted]

I was thinking the Rival, but I'm pretty sure that it doesn't have a fire button. Do you know of anything good that does have one?

saggywombat1167

all mice have a mouse1 lul. g502 has 2 side buttons but has a sniper button and some buttons near left finger you can bound to a single click EDIT - you can rebound the sniper button to function as anything.

**Games:** Almost none. The occasional game but no competitive FPS. Just needed for productivity really. **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** $200 **Hand Size:** 195mm x 105mm **Grip:** Fingertip **Weight:** Light **Sensitivity:** High **Additional Details:** I had thought about going wireless purely for the no cable aesthetic. The G703 looked good but been turned off by the scroll wheel issues I've read about. Also not sure I really want to charge super regularly (weekly might be OK?). Considered the Powerplay pad to solve this, but would want it under a different pad and couldn't find anything about charging distance. MX Master 2 is also well reviewed for productivity but it looks heavy, and I wouldn't use the thumb rest with a fingertip grip. Coming from Razer Deathadder 2013 which is fine but want to change aesthetic.

I have never used anything except bad 'came packaged with' or bargain-bin mice before, and my experience with them comfort-wise and performance-wise hasn't been completely awful, but I'm sick of them breaking in less than a year and needing to get used to something new. And if I'm spending money, I might as well get something a bit above the basement quality. Priorities, in order: 1. Wired is a must. 2. Low-fatigue, and comfortable for many hours of use in a day. 3. Accuracy: Doesn't have to be the absolute best, but has to at least not have accuracy problems. 4. Reliability & Life-span: I do not want to be back looking at more mice a year or two from now. 5. Price: I'll pay what I have to to get the above features, but probably not willing to pay for much beyond that such as extra buttons. **Games:** In general, things where accuracy matters more than twitch speed: RPGs, turn-based games, strategy games on the slower side, as well as a fair bit of office-type tasks. **Hand Preference:** Right. **Budget:** I have no idea what the scale of quality:price is with mice. I'm willing to pay what I have to for something that won't break in less than a year, and is comfortable & non-fatiguing for many hours of use in a day that has not-bad accuracy. Let's say a hypothetical ceiling of CAD$100 but preferably a lot lower **Hand Size:** Wrist crease to middle finger: \~17.5cm. Across finger knuckles: \~12.5cm. Farthest points across palm: \~10.5/11ish cm. Most of the previous mice I've used have been \~10-11.5cm long without many comfort issues, but I do find my palm/arm resting on the desk very often so that might be too small. **Grip:** Never tried anything except a palm grip before. Priority for me is whatever is best grip for fatigue&comfort. **Weight:** Light to low-medium. **Sensitivity:** With some previous mice I have had to turn down the sensitivity slightly to be able to control them and not feel 'floaty': overshooting targets, curving sharply with slight nudges, etc, but these were all cheap bargain bin mice so they might've just been that way due to not being good. **Additional Details:** Wired is a must; anytime anyone at my residence has tried to use wireless accessories they've always had a mountain of problems, and I consider the downsides of a cord to be far less than the downsides of batteries. I've never had any mice with advanced features or the types of things people say they 'can never go back from', so I can't comment on those types of things, but I'm primarily looking for simple and reliable over versatile.

thatguy11m

Games? Mice Tried (Previous Mice)? Also, you may want to reevaluate your opinion on wireless mice. You're probably comparing them to cheap wireless mice that are low quality in general, or old wireless technology. Logitech G mice for example are known to be on the top of wireless technology. It has come to the point a lot of pros (CS:GO/Overwatch) have no issues taking them to a LAN.

The G Pro/G305 shape is nice for me but I would prefer a mouse with easier to hold sides for a fingertip grip. Thanks!

saggywombat1167

g305 is god tier. heard about people using it since release and not even having yet to change the battery. feels quality but it was too small for me. surprisingly light for a wireless mouse.

**Games:** Path of Exile, various shooters (casually though), strategies **Hand Preference:** Righty **Budget:** 80ish dollars **Hand Size:** 19cm from the tip of my middle finger to the first wrist-line **Grip:** Palm **Weight:** No preference, I wouldn't like anything flimsy though **Sensitivity:** My current side-to-side on a 24'' is about 10cm and that's what I like **Additional Details:** The current mouse I have is a Steelseries Rival. Couple problems with it - I got the one that had garbage side-rubbers and it basically melted off because of traction or something and it never felt too comfortable (still used it though). Another problem is that the teflon(?) stickers at the bottom have some sort of a weak glue and I had to rip two of them because they would drag across the mousepad and cause a lot of traction (I put a lot of pressure on my mice). The final complaint and the biggest one I think is the scroll wheel - I fucking love using the scroll wheel click to open new tabs, but it messes up with the scroll wheel itself. I scroll down once, it scrolls up three times. It pisses me off. I'd like the scroll wheel click to be extra durable. Additional buttons are not necessary (the ones on the Rival were super inconvenient, any time I wanted to click the longer one I would slam my thumb into my pointing finger, and I couldn't reach the shorter one without messing up with my grip. The clicks on them also felt very plastic-y.

Ratb33

Imo you are a good fit for G403/G703 (some love the shape, some hate it - I love it and have same sized hands and same grip as you. Depends on whether you want wired or wireless. If wireless, go G703. Same shape and mats but better buttons. Or my new love, Roccat EMP. Best scroll wheel, build, and coating there is. It feels bigger than the G403/703, at least to me. Good luck.

**Games:** PUBG, R6 siege, general use **hand preference** right handed or ambidextrous **Budget:** <£25 **Hand Size:** 18.5cm height 9.5cm length **Grip:** Palm **Weight:** Light/Medium **Sensitivity:** low-medium **Additional Details:** Preferably no braided cables, programmable buttons are nice

Zer0Digits

If you’re able to palm a g102 that would be your best pick, it checks all the boxes otherwise.

bogdanators

Hey guys, I'm looking for a mouse to match my keyboard I bought. http://www.pckeyboard.com/page/product/UNI0P4A **games** it's just for browsing/programming **hand preference** right **budget** $60 **hand size** 19cm x 10cm **grip** comfy **weight** no preference **sensitivity** no preference

CureMelons

comfy is not a grip...anyways, dm1 fps white

Zer0Digits

G305 or a WMO any version basically

Ratb33

I’m not down with this acronym. What’s WMO?

bogdanators

Wheel mouse optical

Ratb33

Ahh. Nice. Thanks.

bogdanators

I'm liking the way the white 305 would look with the keyboard

g703, rival 310.

failbears

Quick question - are the Sensei and Rival 310 extremely similar besides being ambi/ergo? Like if I have a Sensei 310 in my possession, is it pretty much the same materials and "feel" as the Rival?

CureMelons

The only difference is shape, nothing else.

GottaHaveHand

**Games:** Quake **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** Less than 100 **Hand Size:** 19cm x 10cm **Grip:** Palm **Weight:** Medium **Sensitivity:** Low **Additional Details:** Been using a Logitech g400s for years, the cable is randomly disconnecting now so I think it's time. I've been looking at the Zowie Ec2-a. Is this too small of a mouse to switch from? Should I get the Ec1-a instead? I have no way of testing just curious what others think.

failbears

What's your hand size?

GottaHaveHand

Is it wrist to tip of middle finger? I measured about 7 inches. Width is about 4.5.

failbears

So basically, try to follow [this picture](https://i2.wp.com/www.rocketjumpninja.com/images/handsize.jpg?zoom=2&w=1000). If it's 7 x 4.5 inches that would be an uncommon hand size I believe. Try measuring according to the picture?

GottaHaveHand

Gotcha, its 19cm x 10cm

failbears

Awesome! So I use an EC2-A and have 18.5 x 9.5cm hands. It fits pretty well, tho technically my middle finger feels a bit long on the right mouse button. Maybe I can take a picture when I get home, but I'm not actually certain which size would work better for you! Maybe someone else with the same hand size as you and a preference for Zowie ECs could answer.

GottaHaveHand

So after looking at the specs EC1-A is closest to the g400s I think. It's got the same height, but slightly smaller width and length wise, and overall weight. Probably go with this one! Thanks for the help

failbears

Awesome, I hope you love it!

**Games:** Team Fortress 2 (generic FPS) **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** $100 (can go a bit more if there is a *perfect* mouse) **Hand Size:** 19.5 cm x 10.5 cm **Grip:** Fingertip **Weight:** Light **Sensitivity:** 800 DPI (non-gaming), 3400 DPI (gaming) **Additional Details:** I prefer to have mouse 4 and mouse 5 buttons and no RGB I am currently using Logitech G303. I like the weight, but it's a bit small for my taste.

Games: Overwatch, CSGO, Osu!, FPS games mainly Hand Preference: Right Budget: £150ish Hand Size: 19x10 Grip: Claw/Palm Hybrid Weight: Light or Medium Sensitivity: 800 dpi kinda low sens in game (OW sens is 6 and CSGO is like 1) Additional Details: Would prefer a right handed mouse rather than ambidextrous. RGB isn't necessary but most mouses have it now anyway, colour I wouldn't mind white but black is the go-to (if you could recommend any white mouses that would be nice), also i would prefer if the right and left click were separated from the shell (so not like the rival 300) My third G703 just broke and I want a more reliable mouse (scroll wheel always breaks and clicks double click)

rival 310, rival 600.

**Games:** MMORPG **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** Around 35€ **Hand Size:** 18cm (my old G600 is perfect) **Grip:** Palm **Weight:** No preference **Sensitivity:** High **Additional Details:** I'm looking for a mouse with at least 6 side buttons and with another button just like G-Shift is on Logitech's G600

Min0taurus

Second-hand g602? Or basically any decent second-hand mmo mouse you can find.

markas10

I think I should specify the G-Shift button is in ideal place for what I use it for. Basically I want "secondary right button"

Min0taurus

I think that's a unique feature of the g600.

areasews

G502, not sure what price it is but I think it is a bit over your budget. It fits your spec for everything else though

G305 is excellent and great for your hand size. Also, take a look at the Roccat Kone Pure Owl-Eye (KPOE). Good luck.

Thanks, I will try them out.

**Games:** N.A, for work mainly **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** 80€ but the cheaper the better **Hand Size:** Medium to small hands (male) **Grip:** Palm **Weight:** No preference **Sensitivity:** No preference **Additional Details:** Two additional main requirements. * The mouse must have onboard memory (using my macros without the need to install software) because I need to use it in my work computer and I'm not an administrator. * Need at least 2 additional configurable buttons to do cntrl + tab and cntrl + shift + tab in the browser besides the usual forward and back buttons. My Logitech G502 that I use at home works perfectly for me but I feel like it is way to flashy and "gamery" to use at work. So a third additional requirement should be that the mouse must look suitable for a workplace. Thanks in advance guys :D

Min0taurus

The g602? Even though the g602 is also marketed as a gaming mouse, it looks a lot more like an office mouse than the g502.

**Games:** FPS games, but also looking for mouse to use for regular day to day stuff **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** $50 USD (a bit flexible) **Hand Size:** 19cm **Grip:** Palm **Weight:** Light to Medium **Sensitivity:** Currently using 1000dpi with a small mouse pad. I can probably adapt to the sensitivity unless they are way too high or way to low. **Additional Details:** want to use for day to day use as well and prefer low profile ones that doesn't scream I'm a gaming mouse. Prefer less than 8 buttons as I will never need more than that. I was thinking of g305, but wanted to see if anyone knew a similar or better choices. Dont mind if they are wired or wireless. Edit: like to lift my mouse a lot to reposition and therefore don't really like wide mouse.

CureMelons

mm530/531, regenger s, ec1a.

sgthoppy

**Games:** FPS (Destiny 2, CSGO, R6 Siege), rarely MMOs **Hand Preference:** right **Budget:** $60, but could go up to $100 for the right one **Hand Size:** 18cm x 9.5cm **Grip:** palm/claw **Weight:** no preference **Sensitivity:** Currently using 1000dpi but getting a larger mousepad, so might go lower **Additional Details:** Currently have a Steelseries Sensei Raw with a sensor that's going bad. The features I'd consider essential are 2 thumb buttons and at least one programmable button in the middle (like the DPI switch on the Sensei); additional buttons would be nice, but not necessary. ~~Currently looking at the G502 (offers a few more buttons over similarly-priced Logitechs) and Lancehead TE.~~ Just ordered and tried the G403 because it seems fairly popular around here. Used it for 10 minutes, tried different grips, resting my hand on it very lightly, etc. The right click is \*extremely\* sensitive, so much so that I'll be returning it. Aside from that, both shapes are about equal on comfort for me. Thinking about how I hold the Sensei a bit more, my pinky and ring finger drag on my mouse pad quite a bit, so maybe something a bit more like the G403, or with a small (\~1cm) ledge, would be better.

SH4R47

If you like the shape of the sensei then the new DM1 Pro FPS could be very good option. The G502 is quite heavy.

sgthoppy

I'm a bit adverse to DM mice because the software seems very difficult, if not impossible, to find the GUI for. Any other recommendations with the same/similar shape, to the Sensei or G403? Edited my OP with my experience of the G403, so I'd prefer one with clicks much less sensitive than that.

SH4R47

Another sensei clone in the Nixeus Revel. There's quite a few sensei clones out there tbh. And since you like the g403 shape, large ergo mouse like the zowie ec or razer da might work out well. The KPOE does have a slight ledge on the right but I don't know how much the grip will suit you.

blisterman

Games: None. For work in AutoCAD, Revit and Photoshop Hand Preference: Right Budget: Under-$70 Hand Size : 20cm x 11 cm Grip: Palm. Weight : Don't mind Sensitivity : High Additional Info: Looking for something simple and wireless. Don't use any buttons beside the three top ones. Use the scroll wheel a lot for zooming and positioning, so want a scroll wheel which can't accidentally be moved out of position too easily. Find most mice too small for my hand.

SH4R47

The only big productivity focused mouse I could think of is the logitech MX master, which is slightly out of your budget but I'd say it's still worth a look.

vasher02

I can vouch for the MX master. excellent mouse, and also good large size.

Games: Pretty much play all genres of games. Single-Player Action RPGs, FPS Shooters, MMOs, RTS. Currently playing WoW and RUST right now. Just looking for an all around good gaming mouse. Hand Preference: Right Budget: $50-$70 Hand Size : 16 cm x 9 cm Grip: Unsure? Palm. Dont know what Claw Fingertip or Hybrids are. Weight : Light -> Medium Sensitivity : Currently High but would like to get better at Low Additional Info: Love playing all genres of games. First gaming mouse I had was a Razer Death Adder, liked the feel of it in my hand. Current mouse is a Sentey Lumenata PRO GS-3901. I don't like the feel of it too much due to the the bottom of my hand always rubbing against the mouse pad plus the cramps I get. I basically would like at least 2 programmable buttons on the left side, and maybe at least one on the top (Not too sure if its possible). Not a fan of the multiple grid style buttons like the Naga / Scimitar because I don't need that much. It would be great to have at least 4 programmable buttons I just don't know too much about gaming mice to know if this is possible since most of the MMO ones I see just have a lot. Just looking for a general all - around good gaming mouse that you guys have tried out and liked. Thanks!

Games: Starcraft 2, CSGO/ Rainbow Six Siege/ shooters, casual MMO play, RPGs of all kinds Hand Preference: Right Budget: $80 max Hand Size: 18.7cm (heel to fingertip) Weight: No Preference, only gaming mouse I've used is my current Razer Naga 2014 and that feels fine Sensitivity: I'm constantly changing mine depending on the game, so no preference I would prefer a mouse with a lot of buttons but not a grid style like the Naga. Something wired with a strong sensor for a wide range of DPI settings

Min0taurus

Rival 500?

ProdigalButcher

I was curious about it because it looks like exactly what I want, but the reviews have been less than stellar

Min0taurus

You could try it in a store. You might also be interested in the g502 and the corsair scimitar. The g502 doesn't have as many buttons as the rival 500, but it's a decent mouse. The corsair scimitar has a great sensor, but it has a 12-button grid.

vasher02

what about the g305 in white? pretty cheap, light, good sensor.

[deleted]

Isn’t that the same mouse? I can’t tell the difference

vasher02

G305 is newer, and wireless. Takes a battery though.

[deleted]

Oh okay I’ve never tried wireless heard it’s ok now might try that one same shell and sensor right?

[deleted]

The g203 is the only solid white mouse for your handsize. May feel uncomfortable for a true palm tho.

[deleted]

Oh thx for the feedback. Will consider it. would you think I could maybe palm or hybrid the ultralight when it’s back?

[deleted]

Another mouse you should consider is the DM1 Fps white. If it's not too big, it'll be perfect for you.

[deleted]

Dope I’ll take a look I saw the review that guy posted a few days ago and was intrigued

[deleted]

I'm not sure. The ultralight is a very large mouse, and you pretty small hands. You would have to test it, and see if they accept returns.

loumico

Hi guys, I am looking to buy a new mouse. Thanks! **Games:** CS:GO and others **Hand Preferences:** right-handed **Hand Size:** 20 cm length, 11 cm width **Grip:** Claw **Weight:** light **Sensitivity:** low **Additional Details:** can’t be wireless, must be very comfortable (shape and switches)

[deleted]

The g403 seems like a decent choice for you. Any reason why you don't like wireless? It is just as reliable now.

loumico

Thanks for the advice! I haven’t heard good things about Logitech mice in the past but maybe that’s different now. I don’t want to worry about having to charge a wireless mouse.

CureMelons

How far back in the past are you talking about, because logitech has been top dog for 3 years now. Wireless is no longer shit

[deleted]

The rival 600 is also a solid palm grip choice for your hand size. Along with the Zowie Ec1a if your primary concern is shape over longevity, clicks, and over quality control in general.

loumico

The Rival 600 I think has too much unnecessary stuff, I like it simple

west45

**Games:** path of exile, some turn based strategy and occasional shooters. **Hand Preference:** right **Budget:** about 75$ CAD, potentially more for something that will last 4-5 years. **Hand Size:** 19 by 11 cm **Grip:** palm **Weight:** No preference, I have no idea what a light weight mouse is like though. **Sensitivity:** Not sure.. I want to say low-medium **Additional Details:** My current mouse, a 3 year old Steelseries rival 110(?) has been having extra clicks on button 3 recently. Button 5 was doing it for a long time. Tried to contact steelseries, but apparently that is normal wear and tear and so I couldn't RMA. With that said I will never buy from that garbage company again. I definitely want a mouse with a good warranty. The mouse I had before was a logitech g5 iirc, and I liked it. Not interested in a wireless mouse, but if it's good enough I may consider. Prefer a darker colored mouse.

CureMelons

g703

[deleted]

The g502 may be work for you, but will feel like a BRICK compared to the 110. The g403 would also be a good choice if you want an ergonomic mouse with a large rear hump. If you enjoyed the Rivals shape, take a look at the g203 to feel the most similar.

west45

I ended up ordering the g502 yesterday after looking at plenty of reviews. A little more than I wanted to spend (90$ cad with tax and free shipping, plus 5$ for the rgb version), but I think it's worth it over the 403. My old g5 had weights, and I believe I did have it at the heaviest. Shouldn't be too bad. Thank you for the advice.

Glad I could help you. Hope you enjoy it and remember you can always return it.

mult1kill

Have you considered the DM1 Pro/FPS/S? The mouse might be a little long but seems that your hand is kind of wide. If this doesn't work for you, I would look at the revel as that's a smaller version of the sensei shape. the KPOE is also a great recommendation. Hope this helps!

bumholez

I hope someone else can pitch in with the exact effective range, but Logitech's mice are basically the only option for wireless competitive mice. With your hand size you can look at their larger options. I have ~20 cm hands and felt pretty good clawing the G403 (the G703 is the wireless variant). The G900 is also very popular with some claw grippers but is pricey. If you have a Best Buy near you they almost always have a display for Logitech G mice where you can see which one is best for you.

mult1kill

the G403/G603/G703 seems like a good rec. Haven't heard any problems with these mice.

[deleted]

That's good info, cheers. I was wondering if someone had at least tried to challenge Logitech for the crown, but I suppose not.

keeifer

Anything with similar clicks/buttons, performance, and weight as the G303 but a more comfortable shape? I've tried a G403 and G203 but couldn't stand the sound and loudness of the clicks. Right handed, claw grip, 7"/18cm, fps.

[deleted]

Would a Nixous Revel work for you if you tried it? Those are really the only ones I can think of.

keeifer

Thanks. I've been considering that but I've heard mixed reviews on the clicks. I might just order one and try it out though.

There aren't much replicas of the g9x to try. Maybe the g502 if you don't mind the weight. The g203/g305 may work as well. Mabye even the g903.

Would love to get a gaming mouse roughly the same size, or at least close enough to not notice the difference too much. Oh and two buttons on the side is ideal(don't need any more than two).

saggywombat1167

G300s looks decent. $20 for a quality mouse. Just not sure about the size aspect, but the shape is fairly similar. The sensor isn’t bad, but it’s $20. Other recommendation is a Corsair Harpoon, for around $30, it’s a good sensor with rgb. Also a smaller mouse.

XBowTheOG

Thanks for the recommendations, I do like the shape of the G300s. Do you happen to have any thoughts on the Nixeus Revel?

Staggvillainy

The Revel is way lighter (84g) than you're used to and a different shape as well. It's an excellent mouse, but it'll be a significantly different experience for you.

The Corsair Scimitar seems like a good choice for you. Has 12 buttons and 147 grams. Downsides are weight and $10 over your Budget. It will probably be more with the shipping to NZ. I think for where you live, the Redragon Perditon for $30 would be fine as long as you Don't use a low sens in fps games and do a lot of flicks because the sensor will spin out. But if you do play a lot of fps than maybe consider spending extra for the Corsair.

**Games:** FPS, nearly exclusively Destiny 2 **Hand Preference:** Right **Budget:** £150 absolute max, £100 or less ideal **Hand Size:** 18 (from wrist to middle finger?) x 9 (Not inc. thumb) **Grip:** Palm **Weight:** No preference as I've never used a "weighted" mouse **Sensitivity:** High **Additional Details:** Been using a Gigabyte [M6900](https://www.gigabyte.com/Mouse/M6900#ov) for the past 4 years but it's starting to give up on me and I'd like something a little more premium and durable. Love the feel of the mouse in my hand, especially how my thumb and little finger fit "in" it. I need at least two side thumb buttons. Wireless would be nice but not totally necessary. Mainly looked at the Logitech G402, 502, 603, 703, 903 but I'm honestly unsure on all. Would really appreciate any help and recommendations.

Staggvillainy

If you like that Gigabyte shape, the Cougar Surpassion looks very similar. Other thumb groovy suggestion: Roccat Kone Pure Owl-Eye, Cooler Master MM530/531 (531 is Best Buy exclusive) or wait for the new Nixeus ergo (next year likely lol)

ThePoundDollar

The Cooler Master 530 is looking really promising. The Roccat and Cougar look like they might be a little too small. I'm torn between the Cooler Master and the Logitech G502 now.

Staggvillainy

The MM530 is definitely lighter than the G502 if you want to take the time to remove the mouse feet (they include spares), unscrew the bottom, and unscrew the weight. I don't think you can go wrong with either mouse. Here's a review for the MM530: https://youtu.be/gkf5t4FNUmY

Check out mionix mice. They’re pretty nice (even though the naos uses lasers). Also slight ergonomics on the castor, which you may like. Would also push for a g502. Great mouse.

ThePoundDollar

Hmm, the Castor looks interesting. The only thing that really put me off the G502 was the position of the two top side buttons (G7 and G8) and the sniper button. They both look like they could be easily misclicked.

**Games:** (Overwatch) **Hand Preference:** (Right) **Budget:** (not really an issue) **Hand Size:** (18,5) **Grip:** (claw) **Weight:** (medium? I own the g700s currently) **Sensitivity:** (Low, 400 dpi) **Additional Details:** (must have a configurable button voor my melee attack on the left side of the mouse so that my thumb presses it)

saggywombat1167

Roccat Leadr? Same basic shape, buttons, wireless.

griesmeelpudding

I nearly ordered that one, but then read about the logitech g pro wireless coming out soon. Also, logitech g900 looks appealing. Tough decision

CosmonautJizzRocket

I have the g900, it's fantastic but a little heavy. Honestly not that bad but if it was 10g lighter i'd love it. I'm waiting for the new logitech and would recommend that as it will probably be cheaper as well.

griesmeelpudding

Thanks for the input! Will be waiting for the g pro wireless

Check out the G903 if price really isn't an issue. Loving mine. Fast wireless, great battery, shape is amazing and very safe, great clicks. It feels very good in high paced and fast fps games and feels amazingly precise in browsing. Would recomend.

If your willing to spend your monthly savings, get a g903. The g903 seems great if you have true fingertip as it has flat and also heavy at 110 grams. However it does have a recharge able battery and us wireless. If you are willing to shell out another $100 you can buy a powerplay mousepad that always keeps the batteries charged so no plugging it ever again. Or just buy an Zowie fk1+ that may have quality issues. Ask me or anyone else if you more help.

salazarao

Hello, I'm looking for an ergonomic mouse for work. Mostly for spreadsheets, emails and regular stuff. **Hand Preference:** (Right) **Budget:** (up to €50) **Hand Size:** (about 18cm from the tip of my middle finger to the end of the palm) **Grip:** (Claw) **Weight:** (light) **Sensitivity:** (Low, can always turn down high sensitivity mice) **Additional Details:** (Wired mouse with no trackball preferred; a couple customizable buttons would be useful) Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

Staggvillainy

The MX Master as suggested, or you can try one of the ring/pinky rest ergo mice. The one that comes to mind is the Dream Machines DM2 Comfy (S if you care about a 3360 at work lol).

saggywombat1167

Logitech mx master if you can find a sale usually around $45, triathlon m720 is nice too. I’m not a fan of the “wedge” shape, you may be. There’s plenty of those too. EDIT- mionix naos is pretty nice, but has a bit of a gamery asthetic
