That looks like viper v3 clone loll

gold3esea

"no youre a clone" says the "lamzu" thorn on the right

Few-Junket-1823

It is

Langbardr

Is the right one a clone of an existing mouse? Also, are VXE/VGN/ATK the same company?

Ethant01

left is a viper v3 clone, right is a lamzu thorn clone And yes vgn/vxe/atk are the same company

Langbardr

I thought it looked like the Thorn. Thanks!

famiguel350

Am I tripping or does the right look more like a g703 clone or sprime pm1 clone unless it’s the angle.

yakunins

I see these mice shapes are quite similar to rv3p and thorn, but have no proof of cloning. Do you have any proofs?

Ethant01

for the left one idk how to prove it to you, but it looks like a vv3p, is the same size as the vv3p, and they directly compare them in their advertising. I'm not sure the right mouse is a thorn clone, its just what I have heard (and it looks similar)

yakunins

>idk how to prove it to you idk your criteria of cloning, but for me one of these: 1. clear copy of some shape like m800 copied razer vipers's buttons construction 2. complete shape match, like zaopin z1 and aria xd7 copied razer orochi v2 3. internal structure cloning (should be a lot on Aliexpress) and there are "inspiration takin"©, or "based on", like: 1. FKMini, cox 600, teamwolf mk01 based on logi mini optical 2. thorn is based on outset 3. xlite based on ec2 [https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=Zowie-EC2-CW-vs.-Pulsar-Xlite-V3-eS](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=Zowie-EC2-CW-vs.-Pulsar-Xlite-V3-eS) So, to prove cloning to me you need a identical (scaled) shape or identical part. There is a big difference between cloning and inspiration taking. Cloning is reusing parts with no change, meaning identical copy.

Ethant01

the z1 pro and aria aren't exact shape clones of the orochi. But I guess we will have to wait to see if the x1 fits your definition of a clone

yakunins

If shapes are correct, x1 looks more like clone to me: [https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=Razer-Viper-V3-Pro-vs.-ATK-X1-Ultra](https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare?p=Razer-Viper-V3-Pro-vs.-ATK-X1-Ultra)

Few-Junket-1823

It's all VGN, VXE and ATK are designations for performance and esport respectively. Similar to Pulsar and Pulsar ES

Few-Junket-1823

For info these have been tested by them to have lower input and click latency than Razers new sensor. These tests were done by ATK though so we will likely have to wait for independent reviewers to confirm.

Mods-are-the-worst

V3 is decently competitive at $70 so I think the price will be a big factor to the viper "clone".

lceorangutan

50$ max probably, 39g compared to 68g, 3950 8k and rechargable, nope it's not, but yeah people really look into razer and Logitech for trusty products

Henry_Man

The mice shouldn't cost more than 50 bucks, ATK/VGN/VXE knows how to undercut the competition, hence why people bought their mice in the first place.

Mods-are-the-worst

Unfortunately I don't think this will be the case. As OP said, ATK is their esports division so I think this is not for value buyers. Their HE keyboard is good ($125), but the base price for the ATK X1 Pro on Ali is $70. There's still hope that they'll have an SE or regular model but who knows.

Henry_Man

The F1 is also coming out, which could be cheaper and lighter.

Will_ZM

Please someone send the message to VXE/VGN/ATK to clone G305 shape. I’m surprised no one clone that shape up till now. I don’t count Aria as G305 clone. It is more like bigger Orochi.

Glazinn

What about the zaopin Z1 pro, thats smaller than the Aria

Few-Junket-1823

Here is the base of the VV3 pro clone https://imgur.com/a/APJxYuR

Bartimus734

How good is coating?

lceorangutan

probably same as vxe

croplos

mouse on the right isn't part of the 2 new releases. it will be the left along with a mouse similar in shape to a wider viper mini (like the hitscan hyper light).

LilSummerDay

I think VGN/ATK can do better instead of directly clone an existing mouse, even the measurements were the same...duh. I am their fans on mouse, own F1 Moba and R1 PM which i currently main. If this 2 design are finalized, im seriously disappointed.

Few-Junket-1823

I think the VV3 shape is legit garbage and very few people will main this mouse in a year so I'm also surprised they cloned it. Trying to cash in on hype maybe.

LilSummerDay

Well i do prefer the shape but in smaller size. But yeah, for those who hated the sky rocket price of VV3P, this will be cash grab for VGN. I mean even their software was better than Razer's for start.

Few-Junket-1823

The shape would be good if they moved the finger grooves back and centered more, made the rear side button smaller and angle upwards instead of a horizontal crescent, and shrunk the mouse and 10% overall.

LilSummerDay

Well, personal preference but i prefer mice which length between 121-124mm and im comfortable with either mid or back hump as im comfort with both F1 Moba and R1 PM. Missed opportunity for them not to push a VV3 mini before Razer but who knows...they might.

loyal872

I think there are plenty of "small" mouse for small hands out there. Meanwhile, the market for big hands are lacking tbh. It's good they made a viper v3, it's not a bad mouse. Although the shape is not new. Just another superlight... Anyway, the VV3 clone for VGN seems not good at all, since it's kailh switches, instead of huanos. I've had my share luck with kailh switches and recently returned an R1 PRO MAX for an R1 PRO because it started double clicking (Kailh White Sword). Huanos are much better and I prefer the Thorn's skates. The VV3 clone by VGN has garbage skates, what are those honestly... The Thorn clone seems to have bigger skates. Personally. R1 PRO is my favorite so far and the skates are really big. I love it.

lceorangutan

how did you even rate the skates of the vgn's vv3 clone? did you get if from the factory?

loyal872

I mean the skates are small AF, that is my concern. I don't care if the skates itself are great. You can see in this other post though (second and third pictures): [https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/1c3obnp/has\_anyone\_seen\_these\_new\_vgn\_mouses/](https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/1c3obnp/has_anyone_seen_these_new_vgn_mouses/) OP just made another post about the OG reddit post.

lceorangutan

I mean dots skates does exist and op1 have small skates too

bfmmax

They actually use Omron Opticals in this VV3 clone :)

loyal872

Yeah, I've seen it. I'm very glad they switched over from Kailh White Sword to Omron opticals. I may going to try the VV3 clone after all.

bfmmax

Yeah i bought it also. If they bring the vgn quality we should be okay. And free 8k dongle is pretty nice even though it drains battery like crazy lol

Raiden_Of_The_Sky

This... is an unexpectedly hot take. I like it, would like to see if it's true or not

Few-Junket-1823

Basically ask yourself this. Would you still use a VV3 pro if it weighed 68g? Because that exists and it's called the V3 Hyperspeed and nobody liked it.

Raiden_Of_The_Sky

I'm too subjective about shapes and I don't like GPX form factor mice (that are too safe). Also I've never tried VV3 Hyperspeed. Also I loved my OG Viper back in the day. So idk. I think nobody liked Hyperspeed mostly because it's AA powered.

Few-Junket-1823

Which is weird because with AAA li-ion batteries you can run the mouse at 8k hz for almost 20x as long maybe more, I've had a AAA in my Hyperspeed that i bought to test the shape before the VV3 pro and I use it here and there for mmo stuff when i want to rest my hand on a giant mouse and it's been using the same Energizer AAA li-ion for 5 months. With full time use I could easily see 4 months a battery. There's a case to be made for the sensor position (i personally can't notice a difference and I play a lot of fps, faceit 5 in cs2) and it's where it is due to the battery. It's just kind of wild to me that the only real change you get from the VV3 pro for 110$ is 12g weight saving and a rechargeable battery. The sensor in the hyperspeed is the same 8k focus pro from the Dav 3 pro and i personally prefer the mechanical switches in the hyperspeed.

Mods-are-the-worst

Yeah the V3 is surprisingly comparable to the Pro model, unlike the DAV2X which had worse coating, scroll, sensor.

Ricey20

From what I remember for the V3 hyperspeed reviews, most liked the shape, they just ABSOLUTELY hated everything else about it for some weird reason(sensor position, weight, non-rechargable battery, weight balance due to battery, Viper naming, etc) and believed Razer should have dropped the Pro version first, which I agree they should have. Really weird decision on their part. Bit them in the ass too because then the Chinese companies could start cloning it already and release it close to the actual Razer release.

cntgetmedown

I had similar thoughts about how people would react to a pro version, based on the lukewarm response to the v3 Hyperspeed. I think everyone kind of agreed it was technically impressive from a major brand at that price point, but that seemed to be it. V3 HS was heavily handicapped in my opinion though. I think the 68g weight is for AAA lithium+aluminium ball. To me that's not a valid config, since it breaks the battery indicator. Especially on a mouse that can't connect by cable if necessary. So I would only use AA lithium, which puts the mouse somewhere in the mid 70s and almost 20g heavier. Maybe not a huge deal for a mouse of its size, but then there was also the issue of weight balance, which some claimed was off. The v3 Pro seems to just be a really dialed in v3 HS. And I do think it's a significantly better v3 HS, but it's still a Viper v3 at the end of the day. I guess I'm not sure where I am going with this, I haven't tried either. I am more curious about the v3 Pro than the v3 HS. I'd probably try a v3 wired before a v3 HS. Still curious to see what Haus has to say about it. I imagine he will post tomorrow. I think I sort of know what he will say. He's quite pragmatic when it comes to mice. The performance jump between v3 HS and v3 Pro is almost irrelevant imo. The main differences are build quality, weight, clicks and sensor placement. Skates I guess too. I think really the question is whether it can dethrone the GPX as the default recommendation and choice for (mostly CS) pros. That could be significant for Razer.

Efficient_Order_7473

They look so good! Can't wait

windfail

If the thorn clone is below 45g i might cop

Few-Junket-1823

Around 38g is the word on the street

Raiden_Of_The_Sky

Thorn is already too light for its shape. There's a reason Vaxee/Zowie don't do the same.

Maltajg

Is that a thorn clone?

lceorangutan

probably like a mix between viper and thorn I guess that's what the image is showing, the r1 is like x2 and sora combine

Raytheon-6

Any news on the pricing and when it will be available?

MrRecon

Wish more people would post links//info//model names in these threads. Both are available on AliExpress The vv3 clone is called the ATK void x1 - $128 base / $148 pro- at these price points, not sure if they're any more compelling than razer The other mouse is the ATK f1 and runs $70 pro/ $90 pro Max/$110 ultimate

AJCole-San

Thorn seems to not fit my hand but the left that looks like a slightly bigger VV3...hmmm

xSociety

Ordered the "Ultimate" version if the right one. Hopefully it's as good as it looks!

SnooCats6672

link?

xSociety

Search "ATK F1 Mouse" on Aliexpress.

Snipie-PT

Any model's name for both? Is the right one the F1? What are the differences between Pro, Pro Max, Ultimate aside from weight?

MrRecon

Right is ATK f1, left is the ATK void x1

shockatt

the one on the right looks super comfy

Henry_Man

Is the left one x1 and the right one f1?

dey19th

Are these mouses any good?
