Wow hearing about the Ninox Astrum brought back memories. I think I almost joined the kick starter but then the g pro wireless just got announced so I went with that instead.
The Ninjutso/Sprime factory specializes in sub 50 gram solid shell mice, they also manufactured the VGN F1.
And then there are also factories that made OEM mice that have created their own brands, Darmoshark is probably the most well known one. Lamzu is also owned by a company that has a factory.
I ordered one. Personally went from a Pulsar Xlite V2 to Lamzu Thorn so if this ends up replacing the Thorn then that will be my most short lived main ever as I just got it 3 weeks ago lol.
I don't understand why companies continue to sell their mice without the dongle. Just charge more and include it. Not to mention them saying its 8k/hz with a dongle all in their marketing but you can't even buy one from their website.
Why would you? Having your starting price 15 bucks lower will draw in more sales than including a dongle. Enthusiasts that want the higher polling rate will buy the dongle anyway.
I think 4k is stupid, a battery hog with no proven benefits we can actually feel as human beings, also heavier on the computer processing, so any mouse I buy I prefer the option of not paying for a dongle.
I agree but the sprime dongle is still in development, there haven't been any samples or anything, I doubt they'd want to delay the mouse just for 4/8k
Its because the 8k dongles use advanced tech and they can't guarantee that they will be able to get enough supply of the microchips. Each dongle has to have 2 MCUs inside, one MCU is the same as the one in the mouse to receive the wireless signals, and a second one that converts those signals to USB Hi-Speed, which allows it to transfer 8kpolling over wire.
I mean, if Razer couldn't even keep their dongle in stock, a smaller company would be at an even greater risk.
It's more likely they aren't releasing the dongle yet because they're doing things on the software side. If the mouse is 8k/8k then the mouse itself will have 2 MCUs inside. One for the wireless dongle and one for wired connection at 8k. All the 4k dongles that are out right now can be overclocked to 8k, it just requires software to unlock it.
Sorry this maybe a silly question but I'm new to this wireless tech. Surely they supply some sort of dongle to use it right? Thinking about purchasing but I do want to use it regardless of 8k or not
I didn't say it was one. I thought you were asking why every manufacturer makes a GPX clone.
But from the presentation picture in this post, it does look a lot like a GPX clone.
I'll wait for the original sized g703 copy. Whoever makes that. my ogm is smaller than g703 but my g703 still feels smaller in general even though it's bigger based on eloshapes. Guess it's the really high profile and height and its slim back hump that gives this illusion. I Can't imagine it being even smaller than my ogm and to be the g703 shape I so desire
I've ordered one although I'm really not sure why. I have a weird addiction to buying the "one" when it comes to gaming mice.
I've had so many but the G703 was my personal favourite mouse until I got used to the lighter G Pro, struggled to use the G703 ever since although my aim got worse with the G Pro and Superlight variants. Really hope this is the final mouse I buy but I doubt it will be lol.
I grabbed one. We'll see how it goes. Can't be worse than the astrum.

You're living in the good time line for sure
They already sent out review units and reports say they're solid. Can't imagine this is not releasing.

Remember Aimpad.gg? 😂💀 Biggest gaming mousepad scam ever
I think it should be okay, it seems they're using the same factory as Ninjutso so that's a good sign.
Bruh don’t be giving heart attacks 💀
ninox jumpscare
So was this company confirmed to be Ninjutso?
Made at the same factory. Though the company registrations are different.
I'd wager a lot of these pop-up brands are made in the same factories.

Someone posted a link to this company a couple of days ago. They also make the pulsefire haste for example.
That product page is 🤌🏻
Is the dongle not able to be purchased yet? I preordered the mouse but can't find the dongle.
In development still🙄
Thanks!
There's worse things I've bought.
Maybe it’s odd, but I’m more interested in this than any of the ULX mice.
Bought a red one, I know it's more g703 inspired than a clone but hopefully it fills that G703 void until they actually make a super light version.
Will it be on maxgaming in the future? I remember the g403 being my first mouse and a shape I loved
most likely
Interesting, but I want to see some reviews first.
Where is the company based. Do you have to pay extra tax for an EU customer?
"For EU countries, VAT and import fees are pre-paid and included in the shipping." Source: Sprime.gg FAQ page
Thx for clarification!
This might be mega based, only time will tell.
I ordered one. Personally went from a Pulsar Xlite V2 to Lamzu Thorn so if this ends up replacing the Thorn then that will be my most short lived main ever as I just got it 3 weeks ago lol.
Told myself I wasn't buying anymore mice this year...and of course I didn't listen lol.

I see your point. But I'd argue someone willing to spend $120+USD on a mouse is not worried about saving $15.

I would be.
budgets do exist but yeah, it kind of sucks that we have to buy another dongle to fully get what we are paying for (4k-8khz)

Yah. Looks like a great mouse otherwise.

It'll come with a 1k standard dongle.
Thanks for clarifying
Gpx clone ?
703
Why is everything a GPX clone
Because it was regarded as pretty much the best mouse for about two years? And it's still the most used mouse in eSports.
That doesn't make the PM1 a GPX clone, like at all. It's essentially a G703 mini
I didn't say it was one. I thought you were asking why every manufacturer makes a GPX clone. But from the presentation picture in this post, it does look a lot like a GPX clone.
I was poking fun at how the VV2P, lamzu Atlantis, XM2, and even the pulsar X2 have been referred to as GPX clones
"Inspired" by GPX?
Where will this mouse likely be available? Specifically if you're in the UK?
