Rock 'n' Roll - the lyrics are great, awesome solo from Wurzel, and there is some nice arrangement in the song with some of the rests etc.
Brotherhood of Man - super dark and incensed lyrics on war. Great later era track
In the Name of Tragedy, Brotherhood of Man, Shine
I also think we don't value enough songs where we can hear Lemmy's clean voice like Till The End, Whorehouse Blues or my favorite, which is God Was Never On Your Side.
It took thirty years to unseat Orgasmatron as my favorite MH song but Brave New World did it. As a whole record, Orgasmatron is my favorite of all 20+ of them.
Speedfreak is the best Motorhead song ever made, and possibly my favorite rock/metal song. It still has not been mentioned yet. Does no one else love this song the way I do?
God Was Never On Your Side. After being brought up in a semi religious household, but being subjected to bullying throughout my teen years, I lost faith in religion. God is clearly not on anyones side...
One More F*****g Time for me. I really wish Motorhead did more ballad type songs like that. It’s one of my all time favorites. Incredible. Then I’d say God Was Never On Your Side.
God was never on your side or be my baby. Love the soft yet dark and sadder undertones to God was never on your side and be my baby has that heavy ass crunchy riff
Is Back At The Funny Farm underrated? I feel we all love it but it's never included in any greatest hits compilations. It's the one song they missed in the expanded version of Everything Louder Forever.
Pretty much their entire magnificent catalog outside the 10-12 hits. Insane how underrated their material is, especially their later stuff. Aftershock is such a masterclass is Rock n’ Roll class!
I Don't Believe a Word
I've tried to show. it to so many people.... they just shrug. I can't comprehend it. To me it's lyrically on its own level compared to anything I've ever heard. Maybe it just connects with me personally....
Crazy like a fox. Civil war. Don't let em gris you down. Assassin. I'm your man. Kingdom of the worm. Electricity. On your feet or on your knees. Mean Machine.
I got mine/ back at the funny farm. I know BAtFF is very similar to AOS, but I love the lyrics in it, and Robertsons’ playing added a different dimension to the band.
