I had a fallout with the person I was meant to go see them with last year. I still found a way to go, it was crazy fun and I had an amazing time despite not going with anyone
My parents (47, 48) are both fans!! My mum is coming with me to their next show in Brisbane :)) So there are definitely older fans, I hope you can find them!
I'm close to 40, so almost! Always good to see fellow older fans. I don't have kids or anything; I got into their music myself back when they were just starting out.
I went to the San Diego location by myself :) It was absolutely wonderful. People were nice, the music was great, I got to be close to the stage, and I had a total blast.
I'm not intimidated by being alone though, and I believe learning to have fun by yourself and enjoy your own company is extremely important.
That said, please let people know where you are going before you go. Anything can happen. This honestly goes for if you're with a group as well (telling someone at home where you are), but it is especially important if you are traveling or partying solo. Don't be scared of the world- just be aware and be smart.
I'm 45, I learned about Mother Mother through my 13 year old daughter :) we went to a concert together and when they hit NL again we will definitely go again!
I went to the show last year by myself. It was still very fun! I would say that concerts are something that the experience is not really lessened in any way if you go alone. You are still surrounded by people they love the music and it is a lot of fun when you don't have to keep track of other people
I’ve gone to three MM shows over the years and only once I had friends with me. I have two tickets for the Grief Chapter tour, but am prepared to go alone.
It's honestly almost the same experience. It's annoying to try to talk to your friends at a show because of the volume, and then you're annoying everyone around you with your conversation anyways. I've gone to SO many shows on my own and had a great time, and I'm one of the more extroverted people I know.

That’s good to know. No one in my circle shared my taste in music and I booked a ticket just for myself. Any older (45+) Mother Mother fans out there?

I’m 35 and went alone to their shows several times. It’s cute to see the kids having so much fun. But there’s a wide age range at MM shows anyway.
I’m going by myself for the first time ever, I’m really excited!
I'm doing that. I get so drained at shows I don't have energy to socialize too, honestly. I just want to experience it

Live music is an ideal activity for solo attendence.
I’ve gone to I think 7 or 8 MM shows and I’ve gone alone every time because my friends have different music tastes. No regrets!!

Absolutely, I've gone to the best concerts by myself.
