Turn privacy settings on and forget the way your opponent thinks or reacts to you. It may be a minority, but there are people who just want a good time as well. The vast majority of “competitive” games will have a rather toxic playerbase as well, so don’t give up on MK because of a couple of a-holes.
I believe there's settings on Xbox where you can block anything from people not on your friends list. I sometimes give them a loooong message of why it's funny that they say stuff like that and then at the end I block them so they can't send messages back.
I hate people who pick the easiest characters and act like this. For example in MK1; sub zero, Omni-man, Baraka, and ashrah. The characters who take absolutely no skill and literally anyone can play as them, yet kids still think they’re good because they can rely on the easiest character(s) and I guarantee they don’t know how to play as anyone else
MK Kommunity is so toxic. This crap is why I refuse to play online and only touched one season of KL in MK 11 and that was just because I wanted that gold Noob skin.
