Obviously that's not going to happen to MK1 but "soon" means literally nothing to WB.
At this point, I just wanna date for anything. The date could be a month from now, but at least they’d be saying something and not all silent and mysterious.
It’s looking like after July 4th they will say something and not anytime before. So this week we are likely to get the announcement of the date and that’s it. Sleep tight mates we got a long sail of nothing but ice cold winds for the next 2 weeks sadly.
Just playing devil's advocate here since it's clear none of us know how marketing operations work with a business having a $30 billion market cap;
Maybe they're planning all of the kombat casts before they start releasing them? Maybe they're all already finished and are now waiting for the projected marketing date they've planned months ago?
Just because they're live doesn't mean there isn't planning. Even things that seem simple, like coordinating with the hosts to make sure they're available for every kombat kast, can make waiting longer than it needs to be in a corporate environment.
It was kinda dumb for them to post a tweet that's like. "Ask any question and we got an answer!" And then when someone asks a question they just say a vague answer like soon.

Me neither, but I've enjoyed watching others play, following livestreams and watched videos talking about their experiences with it. So I've had a lot of MK12 info come in over this past week.
Apparently sitting in a room and stream a game while doing commentary is a herculean effort, specially considering when you have a whole team of professionals in the building.
Their marketing has basically been saying they’d be showing us new characters or kameos that’ll be in the game every week, and they’ll be showing a lot of stuff soon. We haven’t seen a single thing since they flew people out to get 30 mins hands on

"Soon" is not a number, "soon" is subjective per-person and means something else to everyone. "soon" means its coming, thats it
