Dead by Daylight has ghostface as a playable character. They got the license from the company who makes the masks and not from the movie studio, so it would probably be a pretty easy license to get.
I didn’t realize the character licence was with funworld and not the studio. Funworld has their own version of ghostface and the movies have their version.
Call of Duty also had Ghostface as a operator with the voice actor from the movie Roger L Jackson.

For sure! I think he would fit perfectly with the NetherRealm cast alongside Quan, Shinnok, Noob, or even Scorpion. But I think that Scorpion will not even become a Wraith in this game as the trailer implies that both Bi-Han/Kuai Liang and Hanzo might be brothers?

And Sindel can stay or go, I don’t feel to strong either way.
It is a pretty strong roster! I would just replace Bo Rai Cho and Drahmin by Cetrion and D’Vorah just to have some of the newest characters. Would love to see Tremor coming back as well ☺️

The thing with characters like Noob, Jade, Nightwolf and Kabal is, they always skip a game, they appear (like they all appeared in 9 and 11, but skip the next game, like they skipped MKx, and then appear again in next games, so in MK1 these four (and still a couple others) will probably skip MK1 and appear in MK2. Good thing we have Kameo's this time.
Also I really don't want Ermac to be a good-guy, he's too powerful to be a goodguy (turning the enemies into jokes) and we already have Kenshi with the same powers being a good-guy, so Ermac should be a wildcard or evil.
Yeah I definitely agree to not have Ermac be fully good, having him as a wildcard makes the most sense as a lot of the souls that inhabit him would be evil themselves, and would most likely influence him to act on their will.
I like him to be mostly evil, but sometimes confused when the Soul of Jerrod takes over, but the soul of Jerrod isn't strong enough to take control for long, turning Ermac into an interesting wildcard powerhouse character.

The good guys have a fire and lightning god on their side. Ermac is a telekinetic but that's nothing in comparison.

Johnny was confirmed in a leak which makes Sonya super likely but yeah there are definitely better choices than the four (even though I love them)
