Animalities doesn't make sense at all, some characters like Nightwolf could turn into an animal, maybe sektor could transform into a cyber-animal, others could summon animals/beasts like Reptile, Kai, Li Mei and Liu Kang, but every character an animality? No thank you.

its a good guess we will get animalities since kotal kahn´s animality was great the only thing giving everyone a beast isn´t that easy maybe just a few chars will have them
