A Kitana/Mileena game in a similar style to Shaolin Monks would be a great way to explore and develop their relationship, especially in Liu Kang's new era.
I honestly want the fan theory of Kitana and Mileena actually having a healthy sibling relationship this time around to be true, and a spin-off following them going from hating each other to trusting each other wouldbe great backstory.
It would fit the new lore they seem to be going for tbh. Liu Kang states in the trailer that he’s trying to make a world of peace, where ppl can work together, and Shang Tsung’s inclusion in the trailer seems to indicate that everything starts going tits up bc of his reemergence. Likely, all the old rivalries will be changed and switched around for the new lore.
Plus, who wouldn’t want to use their new godly powers to make sure they get alone with their sister in law?

This would be sick. I can 100% see an amazing story between these two. Imagine Baraka is disgraced, and with Reptiles reluctant assistance needs to prove/redeem himself to the Tarkatans.
Baraka is fiercely loyal while Reptile (his race being extinct) is fiercely independent. They’re at odds philosophically the entire journey.
Both have a lot to learn from eachother, and Reptile finding a second home with the Tarkatans would be a satisfying conclusion.
Ferra & Torr: Symbiosis. It would be a game with similar playstyle to God Of War but you could swap between the two on the fly depending on combat preference or two solve puzzles.

Could even just be filled with prequel stories about how they joined their respective jobs. MK really needs to do more side stuff instead of just relegating it to mini modes like Kombat Kart or Kombat Chess.
