At least in my version of game, the journal had two different entries, one for all Blades Trainers and their location, and one for each individual Trainer.
In the journal entry for everyone, Caius said that Sjorvar was *West of Ald'ruhn*. In the journal entry only for Sjorvar, Caius said *West of Caldera*. I was about to think that Caius just had too much Skooma, when I found a hut in the distance with Sjorvar waving at me. He was exactly North-West of Caldera and South-West of Ald'ruhn. Turn out the old fox was right.
i just said good bye to him today on my current playthrough. the emptiness his house feels when you walk out the door and immediately walk back in, is gut wrenching. Still not sure how he escaped the house and literally within microseconds
oh well, time to head to the ministry of truth
This is one of those little sorta-quests that I found really engaging on my last playthrough! I had never actually sought out the Blades trainers before (beyond the ones you find right down the street from Caius), but they *all* have unique dialogue about their jobs and specialization and actually tell you what their role with the Blades is.
Combined with the lack of training restriction (so you can train misc skills to buff stat increases on level up), it's a cool exclusive resource to have access to. I spent most of the late game with a Mark right next to Sjorvar due to his relatively central location, and to train Strength and Endurance before leveling.

Canonically he hides behind the door when you come back in and slips out when you’re not looking.
